Hele's Kitchen in North Devon

We recently stayed at Beach Cove for 8 nights for our honeymoon, we had Hele’s Kitchen last year when we was here and was impressed. This year we had it again and it was better than ever, so much we had it three nights in a row. We had tried the other local eateries but nothing compared to here. It really is a 5* little independent takeaway. The staff are all lovely and friendly and orders are always correct. The food is so tasty. My husband is a burger connoisseur and although we have tried many establishments this is hands down the best burger for him. So tasty and juicy. The portion sizes are generous and you are never hungry after. If you are staying at Beach Cove or the surrounding area give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Good menu, great food, recommended to us by the owner of Hele Valley camp site where we were staying... And they were right, delicious and not expensive. And friendly staff!

Been to Hele Bay two years running and our fourth visit to Hele’s kitchen did not disappoint. Maria, Tom and the crew are so helpful with our dietary requirements. The Stilton burger and the Philly cheesecake were brilliant. The plain burgers were extremely tasty and exceptional. We will be coming back next year!

Wow! Food was amazing so was the service stayed at Coastal Retreat called Hele's Kitchen 15 minutes later walked down to collect Maria was lovely. Definitely recommend and will be returning thankyou x

I have visited Hele Bay every summer for the last ten years. The opening of Hele's Kitchen is a definite plus for the area as there are limited places to eat unless you walk into Ilfracombe. We had takeaway dinners twice last year and were so impressed we did the same last week! Chicken burgers and Shroom Burger not be missed and excellent sides of chips and salad - freshly prepared and delicious! My only regret is not popping back to buy the relish they serve and also sell, never tasted one so good. See you next year!

We had a takeaway last night. Ordering was easy, they took our order over the phone and it was ready at the time we requested. Food was amazing we had the special of the day, soft tacos and a Philly cheese steak. It was hot, fresh and there was plenty of it. So good we will be back soon!

We collected our BBQ Box this evening. Consisting of side salad, corn bread, Beef brisket, chicken breast. Separate Apple coleslaw and home made bbq sauce. Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely wonderful burgers from Hele’s Kitchen on Whitsun weekend. Cooked outside on the bbq by Tom with all the lovely extra touches, salad, sauces and very yummy baps. Great vegan, celiac’s etc options catered for as well.

Taco Wednesday!!! Bumped into this brilliant place when we were walking back to our caravan. Soaked to the bone, this warmed our hearts and tummies. £9.95 for 4 tacos, 2 chicken and 2 steak. Lots of salsa, sour cream, guacamole and lovely refried beans. Perfect.
