Hākari Kitchen in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Stopped here after seeing a friend waiting for his food. Ordered a crayfish roll which was freshly made and amazing. Actually said at the time it was one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. Staff were very friendly and polite. Bumped into someone else I knew up the road and sent them straight there for lunch. Can’t wait to go back to Newquay to visit again

As soon as I saw scallops on the menu I knew we had to give this place a go! We ordered a burger and a scallop, haggis & bacon roll and both were INCREDIBLE. So much so that we actually went back for lunch the following two days to taste the rest of the menu...monkfish skewers, satay chicken and my goodness that kimchi fried rice! Everything that was served up was SO GOOD... The food really is outstanding and good value, but the highlight had to be the super-friendly Ollie who was cooking it all for us! He is doing amazing things from that tiny kitchen and I can't wait to pop in again next summer!

Best burger I’ve had, the meat just melts in your mouth! Highly recommend. We also had poutine which was yummy. Staff were friendly and food was served quickly!

This small takeaway business situated at the top of the harbour is nothing but outstanding. From the monkfish skewers, to the delicious scallop rolls. This place is such a hidden gem! Cannot recommend enough and to top it off, Ollie is such a top bloke. Definitely become one of my family and I’s favourite place to eat, and trust me when eaten some amazing food since our first trip in Newquay 7 years ago!

Was bought a burger by a friend and was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Not your average take away burger. Definitely will come back.
