The best restaurants serving Greek food in England

Was going to theatre so needed something good, fresh, tasty and value for money. We have eaten in Aqua Petts wood and love it but this never quite met up. I had the lobster ravioli, lukewarm, which is delicious followed by seafood linguine which was ok but lacked flavour. My wife had to send he fillet steak back as it still mooing at the table and when returned was tough, quite an achievement for fillet. Other meal was deep fried risotto balls which went down well and spaghetti with king prawns. Desserts , cheese was very good, couple bottles on wine and all done. Overall the place needs a bit of tlc and food wasn’t as good as Petts wood . Given there are a lot of restaurants in Bromley you feel they need to up their game a touch

Très bon, ambiance sympa et serveur très serviable (merci Arif). Je recommande, surtout que c'est dans un chouette quartier de Londres, à deux pas du Regent's Park, et au coin de la meilleure des librairies, Daunt Books :-)

Booked for Saturday 7th March after visiting Blackheath for the first time and happened to pass by the restaurant. When we arrived we were shown to a table which was a little cramped for a member of our party. With no hesitation we were shown to another table by the friendly staff. Our waiter Abdoul was an extremely helpful and cheerful guy and nothing was too much trouble. (We had to try several different wines before deciding on one). The food was excellent and plentiful and the atmosphere "buzzy" without being intrusive. All four of us were very happy with the service, quality of food and wine. 5 stars without question.

Such a great place by the sea for really good coffee. Extremely dog friendly, beds, bowls and treats are provided.

Table booked for 5 pm. We were promised a set menu price which would include poppadoms, chutney, starter and a main from the basic menu. At the start of our get together I was at the bar getting a drink and the manager told me I had to sit down at the table for a headcount REALLY ~ could he not simply have added me on. I got the impression he expected me to do as I was told. Manager was also extremely rude and obnoxious stating he hadn’t been informed we had been told we could have a set price. NOT OUR PROBLEM IS IT. He then proceeded to talk to a member of staff in their language but the tone of voice and gestures clearly indicated he was telling this member of staff off ~ not professional. Made those standing there really uncomfortable. I spoke to this member of staff and stated to him the manager was obnoxious to which he replied “ he’s my father” No excuse to talk to anyone in that manner. Manager stated he had turned people away for our group REALLY Plenty of empty tables then and still at 7 30 pm ~ two and a half hours after we arrived. So we agreed to order from the menu but it would have been better if we had been given the poppadoms as would have had something to eat as starters arrived ONE HOUR after we had ordered. One of our group had no starter as missed off the order and finally got it at 18:50 !!! We have been here as a large group of women at least 4 times NEVER EVER AGAIN The staff who served us were polite and clearly not enough of them. The food was tasty BUT not a great get together due to how we were spoken to by the manager and the length of time it took to get our food I would advice if you can’t cater for a large group don’t allow the booking and regardless the manager needs to have some professionalism when speaking to customers and not be so rude

Used to go there before and it was ok, but now with new management team and new menu it is 5 stars. I recommend it to anyone. If you go there on Sundays, kids eat for free from kids' menu. Included food, drink, and desert for the kids.

Τουαλέτες που μυριζαν δημόσια ουρητηρια, πάτωμα που κολλούσε από τα λάδια, πλαστικά λουλούδια, απαίσια μυρωδιά. Αυτά πριν έρθει το φαγητο...επειτα δεν υπάρχουν λόγια. Τα πιο πεταμένα λεφτά που πλήρωσα

Great greek restaurant the food is excellent with a large selection and cooked perfect the staff are also brilliant and great value for money and excellent atmosphere well worth a visit

Visitamos este pequeño restaurante en el norte de Londres el sábado, por recomendación de alguien! Definitivamente no volveríamos, tuvimos que hacerlo en la carretera bajo un dosel, ya que estaba muy ocupado, aunque habíamos hecho una reserva, la comida era muy pequeña porciones mínimas y QUEMADO! Fui al restaurante a usar los baños y me sorprendió lo viejo y cansado que está el lugar. Teníamos meze supuesto que eran 4 platos esperó una hora para el primer plato y luego otros dos para el servicio de descanso fue diabólico. Salí a mitad del tercer curso y me negué a pagar.

We was shopping and decided to eat here, both ordered the pork skewers which was cooked fresh and came with salad, chips, bread and sauce, my partner had one which was marginally pink and I took it back, they was very apologetic and although I asked just to change one skewer of meat they brought a platter with 4 extra with chips etc to apoligise, great service, nice staff and great attitude to the customer

A great Greek takeaway! The food is flavorful, fresh, and served in generous portions. The gyros and souvlaki are delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. Perfect for a tasty and satisfying meal on the go!

Henna y su equipo eran excelentes sumilleres. Pudieron encontrarnos el vino perfecto con nuestra explicación del tipo de vino que disfrutamos. Tenían razón con su primera sugerencia! Tan pronto como entras, hay un aire de amabilidad - caras sonrientes y llenas de conocimiento - ¡no puedo esperar para tener nuestra próxima cita aquí! No puedo recomendar a Bedales Spitalfields lo suficiente, ya sea para una noche de cita, una salida nocturna con las chicas o elegir la botella perfecta para pasar una noche, ¡nos vemos pronto!

I had venison and bacon pie with veg, chips and gravy. It was absolutely delicious. Hot and tasty and pie was homemade. Eaten here before and will definitely return and would definitely recommend

Its always so empty in here and its such a shame! The food is brilliant, the waiter that's usually here is friendly, and its reasonably priced. They also do gluten free bits too, like onion rings!! Would recommend asking to check the chips are GF though, as sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't, but they are always happy to have a look for you. Would definitely recommend!
