My Partner and I had another fabulous meal yesterday . The manager Chris was very attentive and the food was perfectly cooked and served with beautiful presentation . We’ll be back for sure Sally Clarke and Tom Booth

I've visited here with family a few times. The service and food is always excellent. Lots of choice, friendly service, a great dining experience and delicious meals.

We went for an evening meal. The food was good but the service was rushed and the waiter was efficient but surly as though we had offended in some way. It was expensive for what we had and the time we spent there so we won’t be going back.

Lovely food, great service, good choices. I ate from the lunch menu which had excellent and varied choices. The tempura prawns were beautifully cooked and not at all greasy. The steak was delicious and the oreo cheesecake was very nice. We were a party of 5. All the meals arrived together for each course, hot and looking very inviting. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the service is very friendly and there was no feeling of being rushed.

Maybe our 4th visit in the past year or so, but the first time for steak Monday where there is a 50% discount on food. As usual it wasn’t packed, a few tables taken and some music playing. We were told we could sit anywhere which was good, so spread out on a larger table. Visually the inside is nice, it’s just a shame they have ruined the outside areas with orange and green plastic seats which isn’t a good look. Service wasn’t bad - quite attentive albeit no one asks if the food is good after being served. Still nearly £100 for two with wine and that was after the steak discount so not a bargain but value for money.

The venue was lovely and clean. The staff were very lovely and attentive. Lovely menu and choice of drinks. Lovely house wine. The food was lovely and beautifully presented. Sea bass was perfect. Great quality ingredients. Menu clearly stated allergens and staff were helpful to check the menu for possible alterations. Would definitely recommend coming here. I would have given 5 but my husband does not agree as the village sausage was missing from the meze grill, with no communication, and this was his main reason he chose this dish over the kleftiko.

We've been before but had to review after our most recent visit. Popped in on Monday 5th February for dinner. Lovely decor and atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and the FOOD WAS SUBLIME. Neither of us could decide what to have so we shared our main courses and both left very happy and full. We will be back soon!

This restaurant is good for both lunch and dinner. The food is always delicious and is very good value. The service is friendly and attentive. Could not recommend highly enough.

Five of us went to Aqua on Saturday evening, one of whom is Celiac. Before I booked the table I was ensured they do a lot of celiac appropriate dishes and the waiter would go through the menu with us. When we arrived we were shown to our table, given menus and then left. The lighting is very dark and the icons ie celiac, vegan etc are tiny. We had to resort to using phone torches to see anything. When we eventually spoke to a waiter we found they don't actually have any gluten free pasta (my grand daughter's choice) they just substitute rice!!! Sorry, but this is NOT catering for celiac customers. We decided to leave and were able to get into another restaurant who do actually provide gluten free dishes with stickers on the plate etc and it is even noted on the bill. Also the glasses in Aqua were dirty and had finger marks all over them. I will add the staff we spoke to were polite and pleasant but we shan't be going back to Aqua.

On a whim, met a friend for a belated birthday. Thought that this place looked OK and an OK it was but deeply impressed by the food on a simple set menu. Mains and desserts were very well turned out. Sicilianan sauces had a certain zing to them, whilst pana cota wobbled like it outta. A not inexpensive wine did not disappoint. Don't pass this place by just cos it looks a bit crass 😂

Chose this place at random, proved to be an excellent choice, good service, excellent food. reasonable prices but......don't like the 12.5% service charge which is added. Does this make the food look less expensive than it actually turns out to be? I prefer to have the option.

We came in tonight without a booking but the lovely gentleman at the door took us to a table straight away. The menu has so many different variety’s to choose from however we opted for their fix price evening menu. The food was excellent and the service from our waitress Amy was even better. She recommended their steak night offer and will we be back on Monday for it So good value for money

Came here with my family and close friends after our wedding. Really lovely place with fantastic service. I had the kleftiko and it was absolutely unreal and melted in the mouth then we scared baileys creme brûlée for dessert- what a magical flavour combo! Everyone was raving about their meals and I’m excited to come back and eat my way through the menu. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We visited as a group of 4 last Friday evening. The food was good, but I doubt whether we will return. The music was so loud that we could hardly hear ourselves speak. Now, we're not spring chickens any more, but there was a group of younger people next to us who also made comments (loudly!) about the noise. I would advise the owners to conduct an unofficial survey amongst the diners as to whether they would like the volume to be increased or decreased and I'm pretty sure what the result would be.

We had great bDay dinner (group Of 13) thanks to Tatiana’s amazing service. Food was great, cocktails too and prices acceptable. Definitely will come back again.

Suppose to have a celebratory dinner but told to rush and order as soon as arrived because it was raining, even though we were waiting for another person. Then told to order at 710pm as the kitchen wanted to close (supposed to be 9pm) as we were the only table. Cocktails poor, food served very fast, tasted ok and then staff cleared everything around and waited outside looking at us while we finished. As a group of young girls felt very uncomfortable and intimidated and wanted to leave. Charged us £25 service charge for appalling behaviour but felt too scared to challenge it. Very unpleasant experience and they should have called to cancel the booking if they did not want to work. Parent called today to complain and met with argument and abuse when tried to explain how uncomfortable they were made to feel - disgusting behaviour!

Visited recently without a reservation and thankfully they were able to seat me. I tried to crab linguine and it was delicious! I’m usually cautious with the flavour of any seafood but this did not disappoint one bit. The pricing of everything was fairly decent too but the service itself was quite slow (the food didn’t take too long to arrive though). Overall I’d still go again for the food and drink

We have visited Aqua before but not for a few years. This was our first post lockdown together and what a fantastic experience we had. Staff were so attentive & friendly and service was amazing. The food was fantastic, especially the beef rib which literally melted in your mouth. It wasn’t the warmest of nights so heater would have been a nice addition but only a few more weeks & hopefully that want be an issue anyway. We will definitely be back again and definitely recommend a visit

I haven’t visited Aqua in a few years but we went back last night, the final night before going into tier 3 and we had the most amazing meal.The restaurant was buzzy, had a great atmosphere and the music playlist was spot on.We had the 3 course festive menu for £23 and it was such great value! All of the food was piping hot and tasty and the service was really good.Will be returning as soon as we can ❤️

Venimos aquí semanalmente durante muchos años. La comida es excelente, no hay nada en el menú que no sea delicioso. Y cócteles fabulosos. Las porciones son generosas. Y el servicio es cálido y acogedor. Me sorprendió leer algunas críticas negativas durante el verano, salir a comer para ayudar. pero el personal experimentó una presión sin precedentes debido a la demanda en Aqua. La comida tiene un buen precio durante todo el año por la calidad, así que por favor apoye al equipo durante el invierno que se avecina.

We’ve been back twice since lockdown and both times have been superb. Visited during busy and quieter periods and couldn’t fault the service or the meals. Hygienic and well set out with social distancing.

El restaurante estaba demasiado lleno, no había precauciones reales de Covid más que un par de cortinas de metacrilato, pero ninguna entre las mesas. El servicio era bastante pobre y la comida fue muy decepcionante. El desinfectante de manos habitual estaba presente y el personal tenía viseras y máscaras, pero algunos parecían usarlos como accesorios y no como protección. El hombre a cargo, que suele ser muy afable, parecía acosado. Me sentí incómodo, inseguro e insatisfecho.

We arrived at the restaurant before 6pm and was seated. As we sat for nearly 20 minutes, the waiter came back to tell us that the table was booked for 8:30. Now the restaurant was not filled nor packed and we already had a booking for 3 people at 6pm. As we looked over the menu, we called another waiter to take our order, as he approached the table he was already acting as if we had bothered him. He rushed us to take the order and was very impatient to take the second persons order. He repeated on three occasions if that was all we wanted to order and made hand gestures as to say we didn't know what we wanted. I then proceeded to give my order, in which his tone was very demeaning and off putting. The service given was absolutely terrible and the waiters are very rude. The food ordered was terrible, bland and tasteless which 4 meals had to be sent back to the kitchen. Down to us getting the bill, another waiter had dropped cutlery and was ready to placed the dirty ones back in the holder. Absolutely disgusted with what i had witnessed at the restaurant.

I visited with family & friends on Wednesday 26th Aug, the restaurant was absolutely packed! I find it tricky to review places properly at the moment based on our unusual times, for example in normal times my review would've probably been a 3 star based on waiting two hours for our main course! But I've decided on 4 stars for two very important reasons. 1). The food is absolutely superb (it was my first ever visit too, a win for the Eat Out scheme!) so you could almost say it was worth the wait, and 2). The wonderful waitress who looked after our table was clearly working her socks off but could still enjoy our (mostly friendly) banter and return some humour too, in what was quite clearly a very stressful evening. So that's it really, I will definitely visit again, in normal times, as that Char Grilled Mix Fish Platter was absolutely amazing! My starter Belly of Pork was really nice too. So hopefully this is a fair reflection of the other reviews and of my first experience of Aqua, I will return one day!

We went during the eat out to help out scheme and it was a very hot day (high 30s). The restaurant sat us on the upper floor and the air conditioning was not working!! It was terrible. The staff all had visors on but it was a joke, the waiter we had kept on lifting his up and turned it into a hat as he sweated through his white shirt. The restaurant kept on seating other diners, there was inadequate ventilation on that level and i did not feel they were adhering to appropriate social distancing guidelines. The food was average, edible but not amazing. The steak was very thin as though a normal size steak sliced in half. Even then, they didn't get the cooking right, had to send it back to have it well done.

We had a terrible experience today... we booked a table and when we arrived there were just outside table so we seat outside. Started rain and we asked the manager to seat inside till the rain gone way and there were tables available and the guy was so rude and he started shouting to me and my little daughter ... he took from our hands the meals and said to get out of the restaurant just because of it. It’s unbelievable what he did .. he is so rude and impolite and I was with my little one of 16 months and it could never happened ... so I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Have been to Aqua a few times now as a good safe option. In my opinion food quality is slipping. My belly of pork tempura was mostly fat in batter and the chutney Bland. I had duck and potatoe rosti for main. Very average no flavour .. could do the same standard at home and I’m no chef. I expect more for £16 main course. The best part was the baileys creme brûlée couldn’t fault it. I’m my opinion tables inside we’re too close together and the so called one use menus were the same one they always have so no way of keeping them clean between guests. Website boasted of a QR code to scan to avoid touching menus this didn’t seem to exist either. It was nice to get out after being stuck at home too long but I wouldn’t rush back as the food is pretty average didn’t feel like a treat at all.

We were able to sit outside which was very nice. The service was good, the food was excellent with a cool beer what more could you want.

I recently visited with my friend, food was lovely. We sat outside, felt very safe and clean regarding precautions for COVID. Staff were lovely and seemed busy. Did have to ask several times for water, also asked for cheese on my pasta by the girl delivering my food and was never given any or saw her again. Otherwise it was very nice and we will for sure be returning.

This was my first time at Aqua using the government 50% off scheme for August and I had heard great things, unfortunately for us it was very mediocre. The dip sizes were very small for the starters and mains and pretty sure the calamari was frozen. The service wasn’t great and we weren’t once asked how the food was. It was also boiling inside! The bill came with an optional service charge already added on which I always find cheeky as they know you aren’t likely to argue it. The final price with the discount is what I would have expected to pay full price tbh so not great value at all. I wouldn’t rush back.

We decided to have a selection of starters rather than a main meal. Trio of dips with pitta bread, meatballs, haddock croquettes, fries and prawn pasta. Everything was delicious and would highly recommend the croquettes. All washed down with a bottle of Pinot. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Had a special celebratory lunch here recently. There were 7 in the party and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the meals we had. The food was delicious. The cocktails well made and those that had desserts cleaned them up! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We was disgusted with a hair found in the side dish, actually made me heave. I would rather go where hygiene is 100%.

If we ever want a nice lunch in Bromley, we always visit Aqua - they even have a set lunch on a Saturday, which is great value for money.The service is good, the staff are friendly and most of all, the food is excellent.It won't be long and we'll be back! In actual fact, we are going next week.The only negative would be, if you visit quite a lot, like us, the set menu doesn't change much, so you may get a bit bored.

Our first visit to Aqua was for lunch in midweek. We arrived towards the end of a regular lunchtime at about 13:30 and were encouraged by how busy the restaurant was. Although Aqua has a set lunch menu, we didn’t find it appealing, so chose à la carte. We both selected two starters (concerned about over-large portions). Gia picked calamari rings followed by a starter portion of seafood tagliatelle. My choices were grilled halloumi salad followed by Cypriot meatballs. Everything was delicious. We were right to be cautious about portion size: the starter helping of tagliatelle was plenty for Gia.Service was amiable and efficient. We particularly liked it didn’t seem to matter who did what. In some establishments, there’s a designated server for your table; if that person happens to be busy, you wait. In Aqua, that didn’t seem to apply.We will definitely be eating at Aqua again. I’m giving them four bubbles as five would be a touch generous after one lunchtime visit, but I’m prepared to be persuaded.

This is a good restaurant. Food and service are exceptional. However, when the place is full as it was last Saturday, the noise is quite unbearable. Having a calm conversation with family wasn't a great experience. Maybe we'll try midweek when it's a little more sedate.

We visited here just before Xmas and had a fabulous meal. The service was great and the choice wide. I had the trio of dips to start which was more than enough for two. My husband had the duck salad, followed by the pork. There was plenty of it. I had the lobster ravioli which was really lovely but I should have really gone for the starter size as it was very rich. There is a good selection of wines and some cocktails. We will definitely be returning.

We ate here last night for a Xmas dinner with friends. It def has a different feel to the Aqua in Pettswood. Are they “sister” restaurants? Pettswood one has much more of a modern, professional feel to it. The food here was pretty decent - turkey Xmas dinner was nice but the roast potatoes need some work - fluff them up a bit please!! Scallops were a good choice to start with and creme brûlée was ok not the best but decent enough. My husband had crab to start and then beef, he said his food was nice. Waiters worked hard but they might smile a little more. Really quite dour looking all night. Quite hard to get there attention as well, so I think they need an extra pair of hands!! One poor guy was working with one arm in a sling! A different chap opened our bubbles and spilt it everywhere - two points.... one don’t waste champagne and two don’t spill it over peoples jackets!! You hold a bottle of fizz away from the table and gently ease the lid off!! It’s not a motor racing finale requiring a big pop!!! He then poured it too quick in the first two glasses which totally bubbled over! We told him to leave it and did it ourselves, angling the glass and pouring it slowly!!! Please give staff some proper training! That was a waste of champagne and my friends new, poor jacket was all wet! A mixed evening, not sure I’d rush back.

I would really recommend this restaurant having been there today with eight friends for lunch. The staff were very pleasant and although they were having to deal with a full restaurant they were very attentive.The food was excellent and between us we tried many dishes which were all served to us at the same time and perfectly cooked. My new ‘go to’ place!

We came in here for an unbooked late lunch whilst Christmas shopping. The staff were very good. We had a glass of Prosecco each to start (very lovely!) & had a bottle of wine with our meal. I had Penne El Greco, which was delicious! & my partner had the Mixed Grill, which was perfectly cooked & very good, but was missing the advertised Portobello mushroom, which was a shame. They do need to keep to the toilet cleaning rota though, as the Ladies hadn't been checked & sadly there was lots of toilet paper on the floor, which wasn't very nice.

El precio era un poco más de lo que normalmente pagaríamos por un almuerzo, pero definitivamente volvería allí para una ocasión especial.

Esta fue nuestra primera visita a Aqua y estuvimos muy contentos con el servicio y la comida. Éramos 5 y nos dieron una mesa redonda, lo que significaba que podíamos conversar con todos sin tener que gritar al otro lado de la mesa y esto fue genial ya que el restaurante estaba lleno y ruidoso. Volveremos en el futuro.

WE had a lovely meal, everyone was very friendly, service first class. One part of our order was wrong, but was sorted very quickly with no hasttle.

Stop at Aqua Bar on the off chance with friends for drinks and was pleasantly surprised by the place. It was warm and cosy! Great service by friendly staff. The drinks were reasonable priced too.

We went on a Monday evening which turned out to be half price steak night and I can honestly say my fillet steak was excellent and cooked to perfection with very nice Béarnaise sauce, chips etc. Always friendly service.

Vibrant, relaxed atmosphere with great food and friendly service at a very reasonable price. Not to be missed

If you are in Bromley and are looking for a decent place to eat, this is the place to go. I booked a table for 26 of us for my Birthday, and they gave us our own section of the restaurant which was great. They gave us a set menu to pick from due to the size of our party - but there were plenty of option so pre ordering wasn't an issue.

Thought I'd give this place a chance as it used to be my favourite restaurant to dine in but has got progressively worse over the last few times I've visited (blackheath still remains consistently good however). Wrong orders were brought out and the chicken (Milanese) was full of veins and fat. The breadcrumbs around the chicken breast were over baked and were brought out burnt which rendered a third of it inedible.

I had been recommended this restaurant and because I was in the Bromley I thought I would pay it a visit.

Fantastic choice of med food, cooked well good price if you want something a bit special loved it great staff would go there again!

Visited Aqua many times since discovering this hidden gem in Bromley and every time seems to be better than the last. The menu is mediterranean focused but is extensive enough that any picky eater would find something to eat. Great cocktails too!

Ate here for my son's 21st Birthday meal. The food was great, but the waiter (pictured) really made the evening. Give him a raise!
