The best restaurants serving German food in South East

Excellent service, banging food and fair pricing would definitely recommend if you’re in the area, if you miss this place you’re missing out

Mi esposa y yo visitamos el restaurante Witchez el sábado 19 de octubre para un 5 : 15 pm reserva. Qué lugar fantástico. Tan pronto como llegamos el personal no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros - haciéndonos sentir verdaderamente bienvenidos desde el principio y siendo extremadamente amable, profesional y atento. El menú estaba completamente explicado para nosotros y nada era demasiado problema. Lo más importante - la comida - era caliente, delicioso y vino en porciones muy generosas. Mi esposa tomó el guiso de Pezuñas y yo el schnitzel de pollo. Absolutamente encantador. Ambos nos sentimos extremadamente llenos después de haber comido. El restaurante está decorado en un estilo de terror gótico - muy ambiente y un lugar increíble para comer. Gracias a todo el personal por hacer nuestra visita tan agradable. Recomendamos encarecidamente este restaurante.

What a Great hidden eatery in Gravesend Market the staff are so down to earth and Friendly, the range of food is great with something for all tastes, catering for all size of appetite and at everyday affordable prices. Cooked to order the way you require, very good at making sure any allergies are taken care of. Would recommend them to everyone. I believe on Just Eat , Deliveroo and own delivery service. Shame not open late

Came fast but I sensed spicy 🌶️ in my OG kebab and I know that I’ve removed it! Also chicken had some weird taste like it wasn’t cooked properly and enough.. Shame ..

I was expecting a pita, but the flat bread was good, too. The "secret sauce" is super good.

This was a great casual and homely restaurant experience, which is all too rare these days. The food and beers were all as hoped for, with friendly service. We will return...

Food came very quickly and was very hot. Quick service and friendly member of staff called sohaib. We had an amazing time here at GDK

Love that you can now get coffee to go with your Pretzel. Cinnamon pretzel and vanilla latte to start the day - thoroughly recommend. As always, fab service from the staff !

Food is great. Terrible service cannot even provide the sauces when it is clearly advertised that it comes with the OG Kebab. When dining in you have to request the sauces and they refuse to give them when you sit down to eat with the order. Staff are useless. Too busy gossiping.

rude staff, head doorman was rude refused to give her name after our friend was refused entry. will never be returning. used to like this place, massively let down by the door staff, apart from the young man who is nice. get good, nice staff and maybe people will turn up to bierkeller. watched 3 people get denied entry because the place was overcrowded. no wonder people no longer go there.

Usually absolutely perfect but today it was pretty cold. Had to warm chips up to make them edible. Kebab was also almost cold but still good.

Absolutely the best place in Southampton to eat very good food and have a great atmosphere while doing it. Totally recommend. The Manager Violeta is being a very good host always being there for you. 🥰
