l've had doner kebabs from many places but GDK takes it to a whole new level! The meat is perfectly seasoned, the sauces are flavorful, and the fresh veggies add the perfect crunch. Their signature kebab is a must-try!

Just not doner! The meat was dry and tasteless. Nothing like proper independent kebab places and nothing like doners I've had in Berlin either. Also, they wouldn't serve tap water. Only water wrapped in single use plastic. The staff were good though even when I got cross about the tap water situation.

The donner keeps coming luke warm or cold

You need to get better at being accurate as to where your drivers are, my food is cold once again. Employ better people, people that know maybe how to use Google maps and spend ages chatting to their friends on the phone whilst doing so. Your drivers are unfocused and lazy.

Delivery driver delivered food on the wrong adresss

Everything was cold and I had ordered a plain doner box but instead received one with salad and the chips were covered in something hot .. had to bin the whole order 😡

the donor sandwiches were very nice but not what we asked for. I wanted extra onions and there were no onions and no feta in my friends donor, but yes they were still delicious

I had an issue with Uber eats where driver failed to deliver my food. So had to go in store. Abrar Iftikhar and Kawsar went above and beyond to make sure I was all set Huge thanks to you guys for sorting me out tonight as always great kebabs too 😃

Very good. I had the Orignal Doner box meal, and added jalapeños to the kebab. Food was fresh, tasty and a fair portion (GDK have been getting a bit stingy with their meat) which was good. The fries were fresh (I had curry fries which was just a sprinkle of seasoning) and the doner spring rolls were fresh and decent. It isn't cheap with mine ended up about £15 which is pub lunch money, but I knew that and so expected it and not going to score down because of that, but it is worth mentioning.

Food was good driver was poor. No thermal bag to keep the food warm. Just placed on the back seat. Was stone cold when it arrived. Shop should not hand over the food to the driver unless they have a thermal bag. 1 job they got. Deliver the food warm and they turn up to work with no thermal bag

Recently, I had the pleasure of trying German Doner Kebab in Tunbridge Wells! I opted for the classic Doner Box with fries, and it did not disappoint. The doner meat was nicely seasoned and cooked with a delightful crispness on the outside and a juicy tenderness within, but what truly elevated the meal were the sauces... The signature sauces offered a range of flavours, from the creamy garlic to the fiery hot chili, allowing you to customize your experience with each bite. The fries were also noteworthy, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the perfect complement to the doner. They were seasoned nicely, and I couldn't resist finishing the entire portion. Overall, my experience at German Doner Kebab was good. The food was nice and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. If you're looking for a satisfying and affordable meal in Tunbridge Wells, I recommend giving German Doner Kebab a try!

How is this place still in business sent totally the wrong order asked for beef got chicken as for no jalapenos and there was loads. The chips where under cooked and disgusting. It went in the bin even the dog turned his nose up

The most rudest and worst customer service ever. We had the original German Doner Kebab as a meal deal and each person as requested customised order, and the person who was charge for order didn’t label it at all. I mean there is a reason why the option “requested customised order”. Is there for a reason!!! 1. You have allergy reason 2. You have don’t like ingredients and you want to remove it from you meal 3. Due some circumstances the tongue cannot eat some spicy food and etc. If ask for those reason and it’s already printed into the receipt. And the person who packs the food should have labelled it. But no that behaviour of the person as showcase to towards us seems that he is blaming us the fault… I mean look at the receipt and it says all. And he still gives us the meal order as normal and didn’t remove certain ingredients. After we have pointed out that guy removed the some of the ingredients away inside the doner, note I said “some” not all. The staff just didn’t care about the customer and should’ve risk of giving the same meal. And should give us a new one and not but the customer health at high risk. After 20mins later he still blame these issue to us. Never again will I go there and they can’t take responsibility with order and food. They should have fire those people who was charge at that time.

I’m very disappointed with the service and food. I came from london to tunbridge Wells for an appointment with my family. I saw German Döner kebab our favourite so we decided to order in store for Takeaway. I placed an order on the self service 1. original Döner Kebab meal with fries and drink 2. Original Döner Kebab meal remove cabbage, also with fries and drink 3. Original Döner Kebab meal remove hot sauce and cabbage also with fries and drink. It was not busy yet I had wait for long, the service was very slow after some time they called the order number. I asked if they labelled the food which food is which because two of Döner were customised he said no! Do you want it labelled I said yes he said 5 minutes. He finished serving the customer that were seated. The food was there for than 10 mins. Then he opened all three Döner without wearing gloves. yikes !! One of the kitchen staff was wearing gloves and the other didn’t. Okay fine then he was individually checking the Döner and wrote numbers on them but then he forgot to give me receipt, where he noted the numbers. The kitchen staffs also didn’t check the orders properly and ignored the customised orders. At the end he argued with me that if you want the food labelled we should inform them. I’ve been to many German Döner whenever I order customised food they always label the food. He said we don’t do it here smiling, ridiculous response seriously. I asked what if a person can’t eat hot food and you don’t label them and he bites the hot Döner ?? He then apologised and said that it’s his mistake. But then he continued arguing and didn’t give bags. His tone and attitude towards me and other customers were unacceptable. When I went to my car I opened the food there was no sauce in mine less meat barely any ingredients just bread and it was cold, and the other two were wrong as well. I’ve wasted my money £ 32 here never ever again. Please see the photos below, this how they served it.

Absolutely brilliant. My first ever visit to a GDK and I was really impressed. My new favourite even over kfc. The classic kebab was outstanding and the fire fries and dip were so nice. The girl who served me was so helpful and suggested I try the chicken spring rolls which is exactly what I’ll do now I’m back in Cheltenham and discovered we have one here.
