First visit, on a Thursday night. Live music, great singer, great atmosphere

Can’t rate the food but cheap alcohol also can use DUSK for a free beer too

Absolutely love this pub, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is lovely also there is live music by some very talented people

We've visited Crowns a few times and the service is always great. We haven't eaten here yet though so cannot comment on the food. The staff are really friendly. Plus the prices are really reasonable, too! There are live acts that perform, so far we've seen them on Friday and Sunday evenings. Christian is by far the best performer doing some fantastic covers and he has such a great voice.

One of my good friends was playing there with his band and the place was rocking they stayed open longer and the pints are cheap

Great little place to have a drink or eat. We popped in for a drink and played guess who which was fun. The staff were lovely and prices very reasonable. Nicely decorated and felt cozy.

Went in for drinks it was busy and dog friendly and cosy.

Stopped in here while on my stag do pub crawl and ended up staying for the rest of the night due to the friendly staff and the great atmosphere. The live band really made the night!

The staff were super friendly on Saturday helping us to tick off some items on our hen do treasure hunt. Drinks were reasonably priced, clean, fun atmosphere, excellent staff, five stars.

The hart and soul of the night! Brilliant staff, amazing atmosphere, two wonderful owners and a brilliant line up of live music throughout the week. Before I stopped drinking I drank in here almost every night of the week for around 2years! One of the best pints of Guinness in Brighton (top 5)! Since then I have revisited many times over the years with friends from other countries and counties, all of whom have loved Crowns. Superb positioning, central and at the crossing point of Brightons drinking scene.

refused service because my ID looks and is old, didn't even check security features e.g. uv, textured surface. clubs don't have an issue with it. just wanted a pint after a hard week. i've drank quite frequently here but won't be returning, just go next door instead.

Amazing small venue with a wholesome feel to it. Fantastic regular live music from talented local musicians. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone drinking in Brighton.

Not from the area, a group of us discovered Crowns on the way back from dinner after hearing the brilliant Nadia Moon playing from outside and unanimously deciding to pop in for a "few". Fairy lights indoors and heaters outdoors only add to the warm and friendly vibe, with a great selection of drinks available. So glad we popped in, and I'll certainly be back next time I'm in town!

George, Harry, Josh and Jack , Crowns amazing vibe, beautiful people, the beer is cold and fresh, if you want to have a stop from the train station you are literally 1 minute away from the sea side. Very organised venue and friendly staff, I highly recommend it!

Manageress decided to pick on me for no reason after buying a few rounds. Ruined a celebration drinks after an event. Better and friendlier places to go and spend yr hard earned money in Brighton. Funny enough had several drinks in other pubs after without any issues.

Nice little place with a good choice of alcohol. The staff were friendly and provided advice to where best to get something to eat. I would visit again..

Amy,Rhiannon,Daniel,Dominic and Lucy made us feel at home… amazing service with a smile on their faces.. booked this place for a funeral function and lifted our moods up a bit… very beautiful place, would come again next time we visit Brighton.

I have always loved this pub, its kept its 'local feel whilst being right bang in town centre. Mulled cider was tasty!

Quirky little pub in the main part of town and located by the stairs leading to Churchill Square. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere. I got ID'd here which is absolutely fine - they are just doing their job. However, the barman spent forever rubbing my card with his fingers and clearly thought it was fake as then had to pass it to his manager to check. who only needed a brief to check to see it was perfectly acceptable. Completely unnecessary and embarrassing. For this reason, will not be returning. Never had an issue like this elsewhere.

Very good place .Staff are very friendly , crowns is our friends meeting place but Lady security guard need to get more training. 0% percent polite . how she speak with customer is very rude plus she makes her won rules and what I feel is she don't like foreigners. Because of her my self never go there my people too .

Where to start? the food, the drinks and the service were spectacular. even in the burning heat, the waiters and waitresses where so friendly and happy to cater to everyone. Dog friendly in the outside seating. I would 100% go back

This place is great rain or shine. During winter the outside is completely covered. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy lovely food.

Love this place! Great staff, good location in Brighton. So cosy with the fairy lights inside and the outdoor heaters outside! Great bands play too! Brilliant night. Loved the raspberry ripple cocktail so much I had 3! 🤭

My favourite pub in Brighton friendly conscientious staff outside seating with heaters for smokers 10/10 and I love going there because I can have a double Jack Daniel's woth a splash for£5 sit outside and listen to music on my phone without being hassled

I popped into this pub with my husband for a drink last night, and ended up staying longer than intended because the female singer they had in Misha was absolutely brilliant. Staff were friendly only criticism is one ladies toilet isn't enough and to get to it you had to walk right in front of the singer which must be distracting.

Used to be great food and atmosphere but my last visit I had to wait for 45mins for a sandwich and when it arrived the salad was brown and wilted . Will go somewhere else next time.
