German Doner Kebab in Brighton and Hove

Served by a man named Juber and was such a kind soul. Made my day honestly.

The food was sooo delicious!!! Even got free extra sauce and a free drinks thanks so Jubers great service

Very impolite staff. The place was not too busy, nevertheless the staff were apparently unhappy that I showed up there with my girlfriend. They whinged just because we ordered our foods with a broken accent. I mean Brighton is a city for tourism, therfore they should expect people with different backgrounds to visit this place. Moreover, the quality of the foods there is an issue. The meats is too fatty and untatsy. My advice to them: please smile and be polite to foreign visitors. It is definitely my last time there

Food alright, but 8 pounds for a box with mostly red cabbage is ridiculous. And waiter forgot our drinks and claimed we didnt order any until i showed him the receipt. Shouldnt bee necessary. Music is loud and obnoxious, tables not cleaned...not a place i will bee returning to

Awesome kebabs .. they have variety in chicken and beef... Original doner kebab, wraps, quesadillas, burgers, panini with their in house sauces like garlic, yoghurt and spicy makes for very tasty dishes...

As a big fan of GDK I had high expectations however was very disappointed with my visit here. The general cleanliness of the place seemed poor with smeary order screens, the guy prepping the order appeared to sneeze without blocking it and the boss box was just chucked into a bag. As if that wasn't bad enough the food quality was very disappointing with the salad ingredients tasting far from fresh and worse still I found a hair in my food. The fact I was the only one in the branch at the time should have probably been a red flag. Won't be visiting this branch again.

Waited to be served at the till for 5 minutes then the East Asian girl cashier rudely told me to use the self service machine. She saw that I was stood there waiting to be served and could’ve told me straight away if she was busy, instead she made me wait which was frustrating as was in a hurry to catch my bus. What’s more, there should be an etiquette for meeting, greeting and addressing customers politely. Why serve at the till if you don’t want to interact with customers? SMH. Usually, there’s a nice South Asian guy at the till who serves and he has never spoken to me that way. I would like GDK to investigate this - the girl can work in the kitchen if she doesn’t want to interact with customers. There is absolutely no excuse for being rude to customers.

Whilst staying in Brighton, we ordered via Uber eats. We both had the big boss box and it was Amazing!!! Wonderfully presented, full of flavour with pots of sauce etc and hot. Gutted there isn’t one where we live!

Ordered a box meal and a box meal deal for delivery, meal deal looks incomplete and the box meal is mostly cabbage. The fries look like they were the last leftover fries collected from the floor and they arrived soggy and ice cold. Needless to say we will never eat from here again. Save your money cook noodles

Their doner is good, I like it. Portion is a bit small. It is recommended for people who like Turkish food. It is Halal

The restaurant was very busy, had several large groups in, I came in with my partner as she said she’s always wanted to try GDK, the food was fresh, hot and delicious and Ciran (hopefully spelt right) was very friendly, he was approachable and definitely made the experience better

The food was amazing ,I came here last night and the team were so amazing and friendly .When I came last Thursday night at 10:30 they did not let me to dine in,but last night it was like 10:56 and they let me to eat in even though they were closing in four minutes.The og kebab was amazing and would visit them soon .Thank you gdk brighton. Had an absolute belter of a time at GDK! The kebabs were pure dead brilliant, cooked to perfection. But what really made it was the cracking service from Ciáran. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was spot on. Thanks to Ciáran, my meal was a wee bit special. Highly recommend GDK for their braw food and top-notch service!

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I am feeling sick to my core. I want to raise this to highest level of complaint at your company. I will also be taking legal advice. As you can see from the reciept I have uploaded with this complaint. The kebab which was plant based was added into the Boss Box which was meant to have an actual chicken one. I started eating the chicken one which was meant to be the single plant based kebab. I have been vegetarian since birth. I have since called the Branch and spoken to Ash who said the manager Sebi was not available. Ash said they made a mistake and mixed the order up. How is this level of incompetence allowed to take place. I have been vomiting since we worked out the order had been mixed up. I am feeling sick and have vomited twice. I will be taking legal action and rasing this complaint to the highest level.

Never have I had food, that is so low quality, or with this disregard for food standards and presentation. I ordered from here, cheese chips and a chicken Donner kebab, the chips were not cooked through, cold to touch, pale and not crispy, they were soggy, including the chips without the sauce on them. Half of the cheese sauce was stuck to the packet and was wasted. The chicken kebab was cold in temperature but as you can see contained, burnt, pale, discoloured and under cooked chicken, the chicken is 12 shades of colour ranging from see through, pale white, white, grey, black, brown and orange. The Veggie burger came with hardly any salad, one measly piece of lettuce and was wet, it contained no sauce and the patty was cold and withered, like it had come from the fridge, without being cooked. The chips for the veggie burger were pale and undercooked, not crispy at all, they were cold and undercooked in some places. In all it was inedible, very disappointed, poor quality, bad presentation, lack of care when preparing order, lack of pride in result product that the customer receives. Food, undercooked & burnt! No sauces 0 stars if was possible

If I could leave a no star review I would. My meat and chips had next to no meat chips were not cooked fully and salad tasted old no flavour. Would not eat here again.

First time trying the food at GDK and i have to say the food wad absolutely amazing. The taste was perfect, the spicy chilli sauce tasted great with the Spring Rolls and the service i received from Sabi & Kieran was fantastic. They were really helpful from the moment we walked in up to when we left.

Kieran and Sabi were fantastic and friendly with their service, the food at this place is fantastic, their slogan is right, Donar’s done right!

They are called German kebab but, can't speak German. I don't think they should call the store German then!
