I visit this wonderful place again and I remain very impressed with the attitude of the staff towards the guests. I was served by Madalina with immense and special warmth and friendship. I want to mention that it is the only Kebab, where the meat is of the highest quality, the menu is varied (vegetables, sauces) and extraordinarily delicious! Bravo! Grade 10!!!

Really tasty food, good portions and we think fairly priced; it's not cheap but you definitely get your money's worth. Kids box is an absolute bargain.

Disappointed with panini doner. No actual meat in, no sauce no salad! 2 mini slices of meat and 2 slices of tomato! For £7 .Mental! Waste of money! Very surprised ,as other items in this place are very good.

Food has gone down hill so badly, the last two times ordered it’s been the wrong order, it’s been cold, the bread has been chewy like it’s been reheated, very disappointed.

I visited GDK right before the closing time at around 10:45pm tonight. A guy named Ali greeted me and took my order even tho it was close to closing. I was not rushed to finish my food before closing. I was served delicious hot fresh food on the table by him. The meat was juicy, taste was incredible and the amazing customer service made it all worth it going into GDK. I would highly recommend it to all and would definitely be visiting again! Thank you Ali!

My experience was fantastic. The food was really good and overall atmosphere was fasinating. Specially the supervisor Ahmad Ali treated me with patience and guided to made the perfect doner for me as per my instructions.

Authentic and Flavorful Doner Kebabs – A Must-Try! A supervisor named Ahmad served us. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. His professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend!

My personal recommendation is not to go here AT ALL! The reasons are : 1. Portions are small , no value for money 2. The staff were too busy talking to each other and goofing around - it took them time to hear when I was calling them. And when asked questions they were really snippy as they wanted to go back to talking. 3. We had a voucher for the food which in the terms and conditions was redeemable at the till, however, the staff member told us the only way to use the code was by app. So in order to get our food we then had to sit there, download the app, register, order the food , retrieve the code manually and pay by manually adding card details. All in all, this added a extra 45 minutes to our time. And to top it all off when the food arrived there was no sauce and when asked for the sauce was told each tub is 50p. AVIOD going here!! Much smarter to go literally anywhere else.

The kebabs at Doner Kebabs were spot-on, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Ahmad, who looked after us, was attentive and made our experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit for both the food and the service.

I ordered a chicken kebab an hour ago. The kitchen worker looked very tired and didn't even bother to put the bun in the toaster. The kebab tasted disgusting, totally not worth £8.

Today 26/8, I am a long-haired woman buying an original Doner kebab at German Doner. In the middle of eating, we found a small hair (like a man's arm hair/ beard) in the middle of my doner meat, which was so disgusting, made me want to throw up and couldn't finish the food. I complained to one of the male staff (who has a beard) there, WITHOUT asking for a new doner as a replacement . Instead of apologising and admitting it, the staff acted dramatically and arrogantly, blaming me as a customer (as if the hair was my hair, which is very unreasonable and unprofessional). Very inappropriate response and behavior in serving and interacting with customers! I was disappointed with the hair problem that I found in my Doner Kebab, but the thing that made me not want to order again from this shop is because of the service and attitude of the staff. This fast food (German Doner Kebab Southampton) is Not Recommended!

Love the taste Ordered OG German kebab Meat with fresh cut veggies tasted awesome Meat was just cooked right , not too crispy and not too saggy Bread that comes along with the kebab was crunchy, went well with the meat Ordered at the desk and got served in 10 mins And for all I can see only one women was working the desk and 4 men making kebabs Still the service was on time Cant figure out what people are complaining about Highly recommended

Just ordered a kebab from GDK, because my friend recommended. Big mistake. Paid over 15gbp (with delivery) for literally small "kebab" with very little meat in it. Mostly cabbage and sauce. You better be off buying from somewhere else. It shouldn't be called kebab but "cabbage bun with sauces and 2 little slices of meat." Very disappointed. Never again

Prioritise delivery orders over order in, I've currently been waiting half an hour and still no food.

asked for my fries to be within the sandwich (as is the case with any shawarma sandwich, was told that I couldnt have it that way???? weird but okay. after some insisting they agreed but they said they wouldnt do it again? bad customer service. then one of the workers handling the food came out of the WC without washing their hands. other workers were playing with their hair, no gloves on. wont be coming back and do not recommend coming here. way too expensive for a non authentic sandwich.

Always great. The sauces are all delicious! Always go for all three dipping sauces! Only reason this has four stars is because of the incredibly stingy chip portion which is actually a bit of a joke for £2.50. You only get about 10 chips 😂 so just don’t bother ordering them. The kebab is enough on its own anyway. Chips are just nice to dip in the sauces but portion not worth the money at all. July 2024 EDIT: last couple of orders have been a bit disappointing… I wish they would honour your choice for extra veg… we ordered extra cabbage and lettuce and both ended up with way too much meat/plant based donor meat and hardly any cabbage or lettuce. Also not enough sauce. Listen to your customers please…

German Doner Kebab serves excellent food, but always when I order using Deliveroo, at least one item is missing, I have never gotten a full order at my door. I used to order from them very often but it was always disappointing to get half of my food.

The food is fantastic , But the staff in southampton above bar is very rude. When u walk in they look at each other and make weird faces. I come very tored from work to have at least one nice meal and if you say to make fresh they make weird faces and look weirdly at you. I have stopp going there now because of their staff. I believe after a long day i do deserve one hot and fresh meal whoch is apparently too much im asking for for them. Extremely disappointed with the staff there

I saw the bad reviews but chose to ignore and give them a try, missing a whole burger/doner in a bun... and the chocolate waffle bread was so hard it was inedible. Go elsewhere to save the disappointment
