Great chicken kebab and excellent customer service from Uma

I had an amazing experience at German Doner Kebab! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor — especially the quesadilla, which was really good. I also want to give a special shout-out to Umma, who provided outstanding service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her positive attitude really made my visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Great helpful service from Uma. Very helpful and polite. Fast service. Our favourite place to go for lunch after the shops.

This is my 2nd time in GDK the food is very good and very tasty I really like it very much I'll come over again and again and thank you for the great service given by Uma she was excellent in service.

£10 for a very small mixed kebab with a tiny portion of chips. It was stone cold, the dinner meat was as thin as paper and you could see through it.. literally. This was my first and last experience at GDK. Very disappointed

Best kebab in Portsmouth! Lovely tasty crispy yummy x City Centre location close to local shops and amenities. UMA looked after me and all of the customers very well. If I am in Portsmouth and I need a great service and delicious food quickly because of lack of time I am going here! Thanks UMA again, brilliant service

The Doner chicken wrap I had was really delicious , the sauce was great and it had spice in it . Uma who is one of the workers there was really nice , friendly and asked me if I liked the food .

Quite a long wait the last two times i ordered. The 1st time, they missed the cheesy chips from my order, and ive still heard not about that. The 2nd time, the cheesy chips weren't that great! The kebab, beef spring rolls and dips are amazing though!

Thili is a goated worker they let us use the free power, would reccomend heavily but buy something to support the hustle

Had a good experience in GDK I came from Bangladesh for a visit. Had OG kebab there. it was one of best kebab ever i had. I would highly recommend people to go there and have their kebabs at least once ❤️❤️

I ordered extras with my meal but didn’t seem to get the extras that I paid for, unless they did put on my requested extras, but if so the amount needs to be managed better. The food was extremely tasty but just wish there had been more of what I wanted

The worst kebab ever they charge more and more every year but you getting less and less. I used to couldn't finish my kebab but now I'm still hungry. I understand that it is a business but they i think they don't treat their customers fair. The price should be adequate to the portion you get.

The food taste good but has always is cold

A kebab with a different take but for me it lacked substance and taste. Think I will stick with my local kebab shop, I get a lot more meat for my money

Took over 2hrs to come, despite initial ETA being 30 minutes. Had to go out as I’m a nurse and had work. Still chasing for a refund! Terrible service from the restaurant. Stated it wasn’t their problem and refused to cancel the order from their end, and then ignored further calls from me
