Bubble & Pho in Portsmouth

Eaten here twice now and I’ve gained the nickname’Two dinners’ from my friends after over ordering on the menu. The portions are huge and I’ve felt a bit embarrassed at how much I have ended up having to leave on my plate and not for the lack of trying to finish it. The food is also delicious and very well priced especially for the size of portions you get.

I have been a loyal customer since the first day this place opened for food and drink. I’ve now moved 15 miles away from it and still bring my children because of how good the food it. Today I promised my autistic son a bubble tea so we got in the car and drove 15 miles to get it for him. We hit traffic & We got there at 2.27 they close at 2.30 for a mid afternoon break. We were turned away at the counter and asked to leave. I explained how far we’d come, and that it wasn’t 2.30 yet. He didn’t care and just said were closed. A 30 mile round trip and a really distressed son. He could have done the tea in 3 mins to take away but didn’t want to provide that level of service to a loyal customer who has been coming for years (actually since the very first day it opene). The food may be good but not good enough to come back when you’re treated so rudely. Good customers who drive miles to support an indipendant business obviously don’t matter.

We went for lunch at this fabulous little restaurant. The Ban Mi, Bao Buns, Pho, Ban Hue, Salt and Garlic Tofu and Vietnamese spring rolls were all unbelievably good. I mean seriously seriously good. The bubble teas were very tasty, with multiple combinations offering something for everyone. Plus the Vietnamese white coffee, which is super delicious being made with condensed milk, is just perfection. We will be back. Regularly!! UPDATE - Just been back for my 4th visit. Fabulous food. Just go!

I love this place! The food is great, prices are reasonable, staff is polite and service is good, and the restaurant is clean and offers seating. Absolutely recommended for both food and drinks.

Really authentic ( not that I would know ) but genuinely lovely food great atmosphere and not too expensive. My kids love the salt garlic and chili wings

Probably the best East Asian food I’ve ever had, I’ve never regretted ordering from this restaurant. Absolutely amazing food at fair prices. Their chicken wings are the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out severely. 10/10

Massive portions!! If you like to EAT, here is the perfect place! There is not a single time I was able to finish one of their large pho they do, I always have to ask to have it as a take away. All they do is super yummy!

Visited multiple times now and it never fails to impress! Love the bubble tea and pho options, every time it has been so yummy! Service is always with a smile too. Highly recommend the garlic chilli ribs, they were divine 😋

Ordered take away as I’d never tried Vietnamese food before and my family who live locally recommended Bubble and Pho . It was so delicious , the food isn’t greasy at all and beautifully flavoured. Very quick delivery time too. Highly recommend.

Beef Pho Large size 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is really out of my expectation!! I thought it would be a normal portion won’t be too large, but turns out it was really full me up and I couldn’t finish the whole pho at all! Taste really good tho soup is very nice 👍🏻 and they have provided some spicy 🌶️ and lemon separately so it can depend on what you like to choose to add in the bowl or not. I add on some lemon juice to my pho and it tastes great and very refreshing. Love it 😍 Vietnamese spring rolls 🌟🌟🌟 Taste nice but not too crunchy. I thought it would be quite crispy outside cause it should be deep fried by the high temperature oil but it taste like softer than I thought. Short rib 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I can’t remember the whole name but I really remember it! Please give it a try and I am sure you will like it ✨ it looks spicy but it is not!! The texture is amazing and very juicy inside! Restaurant is not very big but got enough seat and space for people to enjoy their food inside. You need to order the food from counter and do the payment first, once the food is ready and they will deliver it to your seat!

Wow, what a find! We drove from Southampton, looking for a Vietnamese takeaway. Found this little gem! Amazing food and service! Very popular indeed and I can see why. Next time we will be eating in! Definitely worth travelling for! Perfect for Coeliacs!

The best Pho in the area….. nothing they could have faulted… apart from using lemon instead of lime 😩😩 Other than that…. Everything was perfect… reasonable price and gigantic portion…. Would be best if there can be lemongrass pork (to make it more authentic) instead of chicken….

Nice indoor seating, bright and airy. Milk tea is very yummy and noodles and summer rolls very tasty too. So filling. Nice selection of sauces. Good service from staff, helpful when it comes to dietary requirements. Would come back again.

Best Pho in Portsmouth hands down. On location eating is a little cafeteria style with plastic chairs etc not too cosy but does its job. Staff are friendly and helpful. We normally get take away though.

Always come here for a milk tea, they taste great and the chewy parts taste great too! It’s not cheap but it’s not extremely overpriced, it’s definitely a place with good food and an occasional treat

Amazing vietnamese cafe. Husband and I went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the chicken bahn mi, bun cha and the vietnamese pancake. All cooked fresh and all tasted amazing. The coffee and tea were also good. Friendly staff and service. Will definitely return.

Noodle was so delicious. Used to visit it once a week. Then the price has gone up dramatically but portion gone smaller. As still fancy its flavor, visited once a while.

It was my first time eating Vietnamese food, it was absolutely delicious. Summer ills, spring rolls, Vietnamese pancake starters followed by king prawn pho felt very spoilt. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very busy with no spare tables, always a good sign. Definitely a restaurant to visit for quick delicious international cuisine.

Clean lines, clean food. Good music, kind staff. The right balance between canteen and restaurant. Vietnamese treats for all, with a truly authentic feel.

I live nearby, I often come here to have lunch with friends. I like everything here very much. It's tasty and not expensive. Good service. I recommend this place if you're hungry.

Get the beef pho ideally spicy and the spring rolls you should have no regrets 👍

We were pleasantly surprised at the Pho (King Prawn, Tofu Veg, and Beef). The broths were clear and fresh. We prefer limes to lemon but it was just fine. The fresh Vietnamese fresh spring rolls were indeed freshly made. Enjoyed the pineapple green tea boba tea as well. The garlic chicken wings were also nicely seasoned, crisp n tender. We also ordered the chicken bao but were so full that did not eat it there! All in all a wonderful dining experience with polite staff. Glad we got to speak to Michael! Nothing special, the waitress is able to bring the dish, but you have to go for the fork yourself. I’m not recommend this place. This area have better restaurants.

Better bubble tea than most bubble tea shops in Portsmouth. The food is incredible by far one of the best restaurants in Portsmouth.

Whether stopping by just for a coffee or ordering a full meal, I'm never disappointed!! After traveling to Vietnam whilst touring SEA I was really missing the food and coffee. Now I don't need to! Edit: Finally managed to get in the restaurant and eat (I'm normally lazy and order online). Great experience in the store and the food & drinks are freshly made to order. Delicious!

Really lovely food that is clean and fresh tasting. Forget getting a greasy or badly cooked Chinese. This is so much better. The Vietnamese spring rolls are delicious. I go for the pork and rice which is so nice and well presented. A truly delicious takeaway.

This small restaurant makes some great food and is located in a central area. The pho was really nice, this was available in two sizes, small or large. They also did some great Vietnamese spring rolls at a really good price. Their drinks menu is varied and has something for everyone. There is a reasonable amount of seating but it can get busy around peak times. They also do take away and had delivery drivers coming in so that's also an option.

Just pop up to get some bubble tea and it became such a nice surprise. A lot of different flavours and combinations. These drinks are awesome. Next time we will order some food for takeaway; it looked so yummy (ramen, fry noodles,etc)!!

Priority is given to deliveroo orders, and they hang around being noisy like its a bus shelter. you're basically a second class citizen if you want to dine in....waiting forever for your food

We had a lovely family dinner out tonight the food was so delicious and large portion we really enjoyed it. The staffs are very friendly and helpful specially the owner. Highly recommend.
