Had such a great time at bierkellar with all my friends. I have many friends and the venue was perfect for it. The staff are amazing and your promo girl Ellie really knew how to handle me. Great establishment, amazing night out

Claire the lady on the door made me and my group feel very welcome and safe alongside a guy we know also as Jay on the door great team and place to be. We then went up to zinc above the venue and made to feel welcome when a lady Ellie served us and had a nice chat about the venue. We met her when she was out on promotion at the beginning of our night present with a shot card and free entry. We met the new manager candice and was very nice and said if we need any help or anything we have to ask to let her know or one of the team. We have been to this venue many times also met the other manger Jack very welcoming place and safe to be. Thank you guys

Bierkeller is the best venue in town! Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. Ellie was so kind and helped us out. She was quick at serving! Door staff was amazing and made sure everyone was safe.

When a female bouncer says to you it is ok to leave and come back in. To look after another female. You don't expect to wait outside for 23mins, without any identification apart from the flowers you are wearing around your neck. Those flowers are a clear indication, of you being on stage for longer than the respect you are shown outside. That female bouncer is so disrespectful that she is not prepared to listen to you. You are, patient, non questioning and the bouncer who originally let you in stated. ' I don't need to check your id.' is also confused about why you can not re-enter. Makes me question the power play of this amazing, place. Who is allowed to be front of house. Especially, after we had pre-booked.

It’s ok, good atmosphere but the drinks are expensive and they play you into giving 5 stars reviews by giving you free shots of very cheap alcohol

The afternoon brunch was great - everyone there was super friendly and welcoming, including the DJ and the guys who put on the performance. Sadly the evening was ruined by bouncers accusing my poor son, whose birthday we were celebrating, of taking drugs because apparently someone had said so? My son has Goldenhar Syndrome, which means his right side is slightly smaller, which includes his eye, which is always partly closed. I appreciate if an accusation has been made this needs to be addressed / followed up, however, the manner in which this was conducted,was disgusting. Four of them surrounded him, which was extremely intimidating - my son is also partially deaf, making it very difficult for him to understand people in a load environment and in addition wasn't feeling too great as had been suffering form acid indigestion all night. The bouncers were challenging and rude clearly just taking the word of the accuser and had made their minds up he was guilty as charged which couldn't be further from the truth. He is a gentle kind soul, who hardly drinks let alone take drugs. The manner in which they behaved, you'd have thought they'd been told he was carrying a knife with intent to use it!!! I immediately got our coats to leave. One of the younger bouncers outside was trying to fuel the fire by accusing me of trying to start on a member of staff, when in truth, it was some bint, who is clearly a regular, as I was told to 'just ignore her' by the female bouncer, as of course her behaviour was totally acceptable, came out to gloat and ridicule. I challenged her to come outside and he was like, you starting on a member of my staff? - little boy, get off your soap box. I feel the way they treated my son was direct discrimination against a vulnerable person, just because he looks slightly different, which is inexcusable. The irony is, there were plenty of people taking drugs, the behaviours plain as day, but again, guessing they were regulars, thus deemed acceptable. There are plenty of lovely inviting, friendly places to go in Maidstone, with friendly and pleasant bouncers, which is where I will be taking my business and also recommending and suggest others to visit. Shame as I was ready to sing the place's praises as, as mentioned above, it was mostly enjoyable for most, just a shame about the jumped up bouncers, who seem to think they have some kind of power and a god given right to be forceful and attempt to be intimidating to paying customers. The proof in the pudding, as can see I am not the only one to have experienced their intolerable behaviour, reading other reviews.

My god I’ve never met a better waitress in my life than Megan. She’s so attentive and friendly even when the place is packed. She deserves all the recognition and maybe even a cheeky little Christmas bonus.

We brought our work Christmas party here, paying £23/head. It was advertised as the “Winter Wonderland” but other than a few baubles and some tinsel you wouldn’t have known it was Christmas, let alone a wonderland of winter. The service was shocking, there was not enough staff to look after us. The atmosphere couldn’t have been less German if they had tried. Not sure they even had a German beer in the place. Nothing but absolute disappointment with this place, took our “free” (£23 entry fee) drink and left. At best this place is a cheap, tacky nightclub.

I came here on Friday 29th November as I had come years ago and had a good time. I saw that they were serving Steins and I wanted one but the barmaid made some sort of cocktail in the Stein where I just wanted a beer. I said to her that’s not what I ordered and she also missed one of the drinks my friend ordered. It was very loud in there so I think this was an issue of communication, I explained to her that’s not what I ordered but she decided to go and get a member of the door staff, that action was completely unnecessary but I explained what happened to the doorman. I decided to leave it because it was clearly just going to escalate and would have resulted in me being asked to leave. I think it would have been better for her to have actually spoken to me about this and come to a solution. I wasn’t being aggressive, I simply wanted the mistake to be rectified. I ended up giving the cocktail she made me to a random patron at the bar and carried on with my night, I also thanked the doorman on the way out for being understanding.

Was a good night had better taste of music then other nightclubs in the area was a nice environment. Only down side of why it didn't get 5 star is the long wait to get served maybe need more staff or section the bar to particular member of staff by dividing sections to the amount of staff u have on bar . Secondly u couldn't really fell the aircon and the place does get too hot sometimes . So maybe as improvement leave the garden door open or invest in new air-conditioning. Apart from that great night club it not like other nightclubs that are dieing out and it does well for itself with good DJ's.

rude staff, head doorman was rude refused to give her name after our friend was refused entry. will never be returning. used to like this place, massively let down by the door staff, apart from the young man who is nice. get good, nice staff and maybe people will turn up to bierkeller. watched 3 people get denied entry because the place was overcrowded. no wonder people no longer go there.

Had the most amazing time when I went to Bierkeller last weekend. It's the only club/bar in Maidstone that I ever consider going to, because of the vibe and the music and atmosphere. Had a particularly lovely staff member last time I went (Maisy) who was funny, sweet and polite. Always recommend the place to people I know, and will continue to go - thank you!! <3

I recently visited Bierkeller in Maidstone and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a fun night out with friends. The selection of beers is impressive, featuring a variety of local brews and classic favorites. One standout aspect of my visit was the service provided by Aaron, the bartender. He was incredibly friendly and attentive His knowledge of the drinks menu really enhanced my experience, and he took the time to engage in conversation, making me feel right at home. Overall, Bierkeller is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy great drinks and a lively atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning, especially if Aaron is behind the bar!

This place is amazing!!!!! I had such a wonderful experience last weekend when I went Bierkeller for a night out. I highly recommend to go as it has great music and a wonderful atmosphere where everyone dances together either when the band is playing or when the djs play their music. The food was amazing and came out fairly quick and the waitress that served us was very kind and made sure all our drinks and food came out without any problems so 5/5 for that. It’s not expensive either to go as the cocktails are great for their price and I didn’t even need to spend so much when I went to have a good time.

Big spacious place…. The atmosphere was very nice… … the Dj was polite, they have lots of entertainment games related with music with some prices for the winners … food was not good my sausage was old, the bread was dry andthe fries were cold… service was good …toilets were clean .. you can pay with card or cash before ordering.

Went for a staff night out, bottomless brunch, great food, wings, hot dogs and pizza, with a little show, very cheesy music but that was the best part, got quite tipsy and there was a lot of laughing so overall a great night out, special thanks to the waitresses and the barman Connor for our crazy big drinks order 😂 good memory that one! 10/10

Disappointing Experience - Lack of Care and Pre-Booked Food Unavailable I recently visited Bierkeller Maidstone with my group, and the experience was far from what we expected. Despite pre-booking our food options, none of them were available when we arrived. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since Bierkeller had assured in review replies that pre-booked food would be provided. Unfortunately, that was not the case. To make matters worse, one of our party was unwell and threw up. Rather than offering help or checking on their wellbeing, the staff decided to remove us from the venue. It was alarming to see such a lack of care and concern for a patron who clearly needed assistance. Given these issues — both the poor handling of our booking and the lack of duty of care — our experience was far below expectations. I hope they seriously consider improving their service and care for future guests.

We spent over £224 on 7 people bottomless brunch. They "forgot" our pre order which is made at the time of booking and served us food we that we had advised allergens (mild) at the time of booking. However, they didnt have 2 items on the menu which most of the party had ordered and these items had the allergens in. We did not know and ate & drank the food we was allowed on their menu despite the allergy previously mentioned. We continued to spend over £300 with rounds of £80 and more attendees arrivng and was removed due to 1 of our party feeling sick. Once being sick this individual felt better. But despite the allergy mentioned, staff all but RACHEL < shes amazing. Come across with attitude and disputed everything about the above. Other than security that stated "the blonde one is a like that, try again later" its a shame and ruined a birthday night out for no reason tbh. It's a real shame the staff didn't provide aid if they was worried about someone's wellbeing instead of completely dismissing this now party of 12.

Had a lovely night at Beer Keller with my friends on Friday! The atmosphere was very lively and the music was perfect for all age ranges plus the service was pretty quick! We got served by this girl called Darcy and she was lovely and welcoming to my friends and I.

Came on a thursday night for the bingo and karaoke. Bingo was really fun, made better with the 2 for 1 cocktail steins served at the bar. Later in the evening you could participate in karaoke and get a shot of sours in return which me and my group of friends took full advantage of. The staff were all friendly and efficient, especially Maddie behind the bar. Overall it was a fantastic atmosphere and a really good night out.

Went to Bierkeller for the first time last weekend. The atmosphere was great, and all the staff were lovely, especially Megan, who served us several times throughout the night.

German themed bar with amazing oompa band, went to the Taylor Swift brunch and loved it, themed brunch. Who doesn’t love Tay Tay, great food and drinks for great prices and the massive stein cocktails def worth the money, went with a group of friends. Starts off cheesy then goes to more casual bar music so it had something for everyone, perfect night out and would recommend to anyone. :)

Apart of nice Bavarian look, bar staff nicely dressed in style there is nothing else what could be named of German style. Very loud music as you can’t hear your own mind and no chance to talk to other person. Including bar staff who didn’t hear well what we wanted to order. Instead of 2 small beers we received 1 small and 1 stein. Nice big salty beer pretzels…..served with sugar, cinnamon and….ice cream 🙄🤦‍♀️ We had a bad luck as both of us didn’t finish the beer (called home made) but taste of this beer I have to say was very “unique” 🤢🥴 My plastic cup had a smell of washing up liquid. Only positive aspect of this experience was a sausage. It was tasty. In my private opinion the bar staff (what was very nice and polite) and owners should go to Germany to see the original Bavarian restaurant, feel the atmosphere and to see the difference.

What an incredible venue!! The theming is really cool and I loved the atmosphere of the entire place. My friends and I were served by Rachel, who provided a fun and friendly atmosphere to our booking!! We had both food and drink with our package and everything was spectacular - would definitely book again for another fun night out!

Went for a night out on Saturday and had such a great time! The security at the door were really friendly and were a laugh. The bartenders were really quick and made me and my friends some really great cocktails. Jay made sure that we were looked after and helped us find the taxi service when we left. Such a great night, would definitely recommend!

Joey Essex Brunch Meet and Greet Aug 2024 • family My family saw that Joey Essex was doing a meet and greet and I have always championed his career and insisted he wasn't daft, but very clever to find niche that suited him and ran with it. The family all ganged up on me and although I am 81 I found myself in the dark at the Beer Keller. Well we had a great time. The young ones there all joined in and believe it or not, I did not feel out of place. Finally, what a nice guy he was. He had time for everyone. Everything I told the family he was, he seemed to be. this was a joke. Never had a problem with this place till now. Went out for my birthday but was ruined by a staff at the door, he falsely accused my brother of doing illegal drugs because he saw white stuff on his hands when there wasn’t any white stuff on his hands at all, and apparently it was on his receipts? My brother has always had receipts on him, the same ones to be exact and they have never complain about that until now. The way he spoke was absolutely rude too. we were being polite and respectful while he was rude to us. he upset my whole family that night leaving them in tears, he was disrespectful. we eventually did get our money back after fighting for it, but manager has the cheek to say we have a strict policy on drugs when he told us that they search people randomly. any of them people you didn’t searched could have had drugs on them. if you have a strict policy you would search everyone who came in then? Anyways we got our money back and we are happy now we did but I don’t know if we will be returning again after the disrespect we was given.
