Never arrived, said they couldnt find us. I appreciate we are not the easiest to find, yet no one came down the road. There is a pin feature on the app which we used and another takeaway service found us. They said they tried to call but no message was left. When we rung they said it had gone back to them and we would have to wait another hour after already waiting ah hoir and half so we cancelled and not recieved any refund. Its a shame as always enjoyed their curries

Food arrived fresh and on time, however.. Chicken bhuna I ordered was quite small in portion size.. Saag aloo was rather salty and the peshwari naan was too sweet.

It was ok…. Popadoms stale, food salty. Paratha undercooked. Ordered red onion and pot was barely half filled….Don’t think I would use again.

Usually we love to order from here but lately I have not been enjoying it as much. There seems to be a lot of spice in the onion bhaji and a mild spice in the tikka masala. Saag paneer was not what we expected and again, very spicy. Boyfriend enjoyed his, but did say it tasted different. Not sure if I am disappointed this time around.

Rice was missing (albeit allegedly refunded), poppadum was smashed to smithereens ; just very disappointing

We ordered our take away went to pick it was ready when we got there,and then went home to eat it, we don’t have takeaways as a norm but when we have a birthday we have Indian and always have had them from this place but unfortunately this will not happen again as the food was very poor quality it was like soup always before been very good this was very poor, also not very warm a big disappointment.

Unfortunately food was cold and we had to microwave it due to it arriving late

Ordered here sometime ago and was very nice so came back, unfortunately today’s lamb korma was abit to salty so I gave 4*. The chicken tikka masala was very nice. Naan breads were delicious.

Great local curry house. Prior to moving to the area we had a large amount of curry houses near us so were sad to leave, but we appear to have gotten lucky and have Zarda Cottage around the corner from us now. Good portion sizes, tasty vegetarian/vegan dishes and friendly staff members with character.

The food here is normally lovely but not today the samosas were like chewing a rock and the chicken in our dishes was pretty much the same not good was very disappointed

Second time and excellent again, arrived hot (about 6 miles away) and everything was seasoned perfectly, excellent and accurate heat levels.

By far the best Indian/ Bengali food i've bought. We made it just before closing for a take away. I forgot the boss's name now but he wasn't hurrying us out the door despite just closing up. The food was amazing. I followed his recommendation which was delicious. If i lived closer i'd be back in a heartbeat.

Really enjoyed the curries we ordered, some unique flavours and an excellent heat level, rice and paratha both highly flavoured.

Most of the food was absolutely tasteless. Tikka Masala was bland, the peshwari naan had no filling and so no sweetness... It was inedible. The sag aloo and mushroom bhaji were OK, not sure how you could have ruined those mind you.

Fantastic food, hot on arrival and never disappointed. My only issue is that the kind prawns were rather tough, like they's been over-cooked.

Very impressed! I eat a LOT of curry and only recently found this place while staying at my mum's. The lamb tilka was perfectly spiced and not a single chewy bit at all. Veg was fresh. Rice nicely seasoned. And curry succulent and beautifully balanced. Even the poppadoms arrived fresh and crisp!

Overall the food was nice, however my chicken tikka masala was pretty nasty, I have ordered this before and it's been lovely, this time I'm afraid something was not right, the sauce was a funny looking colour and it tasted a bit like gone off milk, so this dish went in the bin.

Delicious! Slightly more classic than a BIR curry but the flavours were far superior to a normal British Indian takeaway. My delivery arrived in half the time than expected and everything was hot like it just came out the pan and tandoor. I’ve stuck to my preferred restaurants for a while but this place is definitely now my choice. Give it a try like I did, believe me it’s miles apart from the rest.

Went to the restaurant and the attitude was really bad, it was like you shouldn’t have been there. Like you were causing them a problem. Never in my 50 years experience using restaurants have I experienced a service like this and bad attitude Not recommend

Shocking Customer Service Experience - Cannot Recommend Tonight we are hosting a gathering at our home in Yalding with eight friends and decided to try Zarda after not using them for years. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. When we called to place our order, the employee who answered the phone seemed to be struggling with their system. Our phone number wouldn't register, and they couldn't find our information. Despite providing our phone number three times, the employee's tone became increasingly angry and frustrated, as if it was our fault that their system couldn't locate our details from our mobile. We asked if they could simply add us as new customers, but the employee was clearly unwilling to help and seemed disinterested in our order. At this point we have not given him any additional information to manually add us or try. We suggested trying another establishment if this is being to difficult, the employee actually agreed, which was shocking to us. We strongly recommend avoiding this place. Save yourself the trouble and choose another restaurant instead.

First time we have ordered from Zarda and it was delicious

Went here with a couple mates on a quiet Monday night 😂 Even though it was quite there was a nice atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and took the time to explain parts of the menu to us. Definitely one to revisit in the future.

Best way to end the year! Amazing service

Korma & Balti were bland, the peshwari naan & mango chutney tasted strange and the saag Paneer was spicy. We were pretty gutted with this takeaway :(

Lovely curry and delivered on time. Every dish tasted great! I would order again. Only point I would suggest, is if orders would be delivered in foil containers rather than plastic so we can re- heat in oven. As it did need reheating after delivery.

Really good food but a little late.

If I could give no stars I would what an utter let down, from the driver not being able to find us to the food itself, my sister asked for a chicken tikka masala, to receive a come out in a hot sweat spicy chicken something, when she called up to complain the guy on the other line was smarmy and rude, my buttered chicken was so salty you'd think it had come from the sea and the korma wasn't any better it was so bland, I definitely will not be returning nor recommending your company to anyone. There wasn't an offer of a refund either..

Tandoori chicken is marvelous. Chicken korma is very far from being any good.

Ordered butter chicken but what I got was not that, was more like a madras. A bit disappointed as I rarely have a takeaway and was really looking forward to it. Was an ok madras though I guess

The chicken was like rubber and stank like it was off . In my opinion it’s been reheated from a day or two ago it was absolutely disgusting and uneatable. I was so looking forward to the meal as I’ve seen some good reviews I was very very disappointed never again will I order from here. Sorry guys but The food is unacceptable.

Although I ordered a prawn dish they all tasted like they were cooked in the same bowl, the chicken was dry and hard and all dishes tasted like they had a burnt pan taste not impressed with the food sorry for the bad review but it was not good on this occasion

Gutted: my meal was a chicken shashlick it was not cooked fresh. I have had Many meals and never disappointed but last night's treat was a massive turn off.

Food was tepid upon arrival. The meals were tasty but the lamb was very tough.

Food was fab and so was the delivery driver.

Fantastic food! I am vegan so phoned the restaurant to ask what I can have and they were so kind and accommodating, will 100% be ordering again! The rest of my group (not vegan) also really enjoyed their meals too. Big portions and lots of flavour, really impressed 😊
