Buenos Aires Restaurant in Maidstone

Came here for a solo steak (while waiting to pick up my teenage son from his first date) and as solo meals go, it was perfect. Steak beautifully cooked, lovely glass of Malbec, the waitress Patricia was attentive without being overwhelming, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want from an Argentinian steak house, down to the low level jazz in the background. Can’t recommend enough.

The steak tasted amazing one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Prices are decent for the cut. After many disappointing visits at other steak restaurants this was by far the best one and only one we will attend . The staff are always helpful too

Had a beautiful meal here! The food was served in a timely manner and so delicious. The service was also wonderful, a special mention to Charlotte who was so great, especially with us being slightly nervous bringing our 6 week old baby with us! After visiting Buenos Aires Nights Steakhouse in Maidstone, I can confidently say that it was indeed a top-notch dining experience. The steaks were exceptional, cooked to perfection. Whilst the service was good we unfortunately suffered awful food poisoning resulting in myself and my partner being off work for 4 days. We both hadn’t eaten during the day and saved ourselves for this meal and then became very ill within a few hours. Despite raising this with the restaurant manager we was not given a satisfactorily report outlining their investigation but simply told that no one else reported food poisoning so couldn’t have been there restaurant which I fail to believe. I really don’t like complaining or leaving a negative review but feel strongly that this needs to be put on here as we was both extremely poorly!

Buenos Aires is where it's at if you're craving some top-notch steak and killer service. Seriously, this place is the real deal. Let's talk about the fillet steak—it's like a slice of heaven on a plate. But what really seals the deal is the service. Jay knows how to treat you right. She’s on it without being all up in your business, and her recommendations are on point. So, if you're in the mood for a taste of Argentina with a side of awesomeness, do yourself a favor and hit up Buenos Aires. You won't regret it.

Steak was amazing, I ordered the rump but was so tender it tasted like a fillet. Cooked amazingly throughout and cut like butter. Atmosphere and service great too! Can’t wait to come again

Had a lovely early valentine’s day dinner here this evening. front of house staff were attentive, helpful and informative. Lovely meal, steak was beautiful but the real standouts from this meal were the peppercorn sauce and the fluffy chips. great choice of wine. great atmosphere for a private evening.

I cannot recommend enough…. My son wanted to take me to London to another well known famous Argentine steak restaurant for my birthday 🥳 but I couldn’t make a journey like that as I had been unwell…. So he checked reviews and the website (typical millennials 😂) and found this amazing place! Well I am so glad we changed our plans and he discovered Buenos Aires in Maidstone…. The most delicious, melt in the mouth ribeye steak I have ever had the pleasure to taste, I didn’t want the meal to end! The calamari starter was amazing too…. We had a lovely time, staff were lovely, attentive, but not crowding, lovely atmosphere, perfect for a special date, or occasion. We will be back again very soon, my mouth is already watering at the prospect 🤤

A great steak Busy on a Saturday night so best to book

This is the second time we have eaten in this restaurant, spent about £220 for the two of us. meal was great wine was fantastic, seemed very busy but no drop in service to when we last came here, staff efficient and very friendly, dinning room very clean and tidy and modern. The only thing I never like in any restaurant is the gratuity being added to the bill automatically, I always like to leave cash for a tip, apart from that excellent evening

Putting it simply do not eat here If you want this level of cooking go to harvester or beefeater as this is over priced for what it is. A dedicated steakhouse that can’t cook a £40 steak to perfection is quite literally failing at all levels. Creamed spinach that is dry is unacceptable and green beans that arrive as a variety of overcooked/undercooked and cooked well is a simply a feat in itself. Can’t really say how over priced and under whelming this is as a restaurant.

The back of the restaurant was draughty so I had to keep my cardigan on. The Christmas meal was a washout. Wouldn’t recommend it especially the potatoes. The waitress was really good.

Myself and my partner go here every year for our birthdays and anniversary and have never had a bad meal, so on Thursday 30th November we thought of no better place to spend the evening From the moment we walked in we were greeted by nothing but friendly, smiley and very professional staff. from the host (Mia) to the chefs. The food was perfect, the atmosphere was amazing. The service as always to the highest standard and did not fail this time either. Our waitress for the evening was a young lady called Patty, we remember her on our last visit (i believe our last visit was her first shift so shy but amazing that evening too) and she was as nothing less than perfect this time either. What an amazing young lady and a real assets to the staff at BA. I've worked in and around the catering industry for over 2 decades and I would be honored to have the staff at your restaurant working in one of my teams. Thank you so much to Mia, Patty and the chefs at BA Nights for yet another amazing dinner and evening.

We came here last night as a family of six to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday. We were impressed by the service and food. Staff were attentive and all 3 courses of each person's meal delicious, especially the steak, which was cooked to each person's liking. Thank you. We had a lovely time and will come back again.

Amazing food! We ordered the steak sampler with four different cuts. The chimichurri sauce was great too, and the truffle cake for dessert. Thanks to Patricia who was attentive and friendly.

Extremely poor quality for price, the cheese starter was a melted pot of standard cheddar with an old pre dried tomato in the middle for 9.95, could Not consume The steak was passable at a push, only reason had 2 stars is the waitress was good, Would never go back

Catching up with friends, restaurant recommendation. Arrived and shown to our table. Restaurant was nearly empty possible due to being a Thursday evening. Waitress took our drinks order and then came back in a timely fashion to take our food order. 20 minutes later starts arrived which were lovely Then it goes down hill. Mains came out but over a period of time my wife’s steak 🥩 was cold and the sauce was also luke warm. My steak was hot but sauce warm. The waitress then informed my friend that his dinner would be at least another 12 minutes this was not acceptable. My wife new steak 🥩 turned up hot but my friends dinner took about 20 minutes to arrive by this time we had all finished our mains. Waitress was very apologetic and we received a free bottle of Red. It was an expensive dinner 🥘. Would I go again NO 😳😩😩

Food was absolutely fabulous and the Dessert we're to die for.

Lovely surroundings, but had rump steak which was very chewy ,which although was the cheapest cut ,was disappointing even so.

We Came At 830pm On A Sunday Evening And Where The Only Guests Inside. We Had The Experience Platter And The Taste Was Amazing So Much So We Are Coming Back Very Soon. We Was Served By Patricia Who Very Accomodating She Even Helped Us Where To Park As We Are From London, Very Due Diligent And Check On Us On Several Occasions. Highly Reccomend This Place

First time here. For the price I expected top service. Didn't get offered any sauces, really.poor service. Very slow! Had to go up and ask for a knife and fork. Didn't clear any dirty glasses. They were left on the table.the whole time we were there. Had to send the steak back as it was wrong. Had to ask for my salad Would not return. I went dining by myself and the staff were so lovely to me! I was served by two delightful staff members - thank you Mia and the other waiting staff whom I unfortunately didn't catch the name of. I came in about 17:30 on a Sunday and was the only customer for a while but they changed the music for me, and they even lit every candle in the room. I really enjoyed the Virgin Summer Nights drink. The food was lovely and the kitchen members shared some smiles with me too. The chips were crispy and yummy, and the only thing I can say as criticism is to add more seasoning to the steak.

We have dined here before a few years ago and remember it being absolutely wonderful then. Tonight did not disappoint. We were served by the lovely Shannon who made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish and was welcoming as ever. A truly decadent meal as a birthday treat and we were full to the trim after. Enjoyed a lovely liqueur post-meal outside afterward and very much enjoyed ourselves! Thank you, to all the team working!

Lovely food and friendly staff!

I arrived here as a large group to celebrate a birthday. Being Vegan myself (so certainly not the target audience for a steakhouse!) I was impressed to see a decent amount of vegan options. The vegan empanadas were lovely to start, as were the padron peppers, and everyone in our party seemed to enjoy their food. As we were eating our starters another large group arrived. Despite the rest of the restaurant being empty, they were seated right behind us. It was very squashed in, warm and uncomfortable. A member of our party got up to discuss this with the staff, who then came to the table in earshot of the other table and asked if we would like to move. Being halfway through our meal (whilst the other party had only ordered drinks) we declined. No other option was offered. When clearing plates and serving mains, staff were having to lean over us uncomfortably to collect/dispatch plates, due to how cramped in we were. Unfortunately on arrival of our mains the vegan burger seemed almost undercooked. However, not wanting to stay in the uncomfortable environment any longer I decided against raising this with the staff. We were told that the other group had been sat behind us due to another large booking, but the other large booking failed to materialise during our visit.

Steak was thin so hard to cook as "medium rare" - and was cooked a little over. It's branded a steak house so better Argentian cuts are needed. Same time nothing done wrong but not as good as branded Tomahawk chain.

Very good and no issues with the food but as an Argentinian Steak House the steak was a little 'thin' - meaning a bit over-cooked for medium-rare in places, but nothing was left. Starter of squid rings again was 100% edible but lacking a bit...

Came into the restaurant for some drink, we were a big table of 13 and everyone loved their drink. Staff were wonderful very helpful and quick service from Jay and Patty. Would 100% recommend, didn’t have enough time to eat but the food looked amazing will definitely come back to eat soon.

I read reviews before booking this as not cheap. Not sure I went to the same place ! The starters were lovely, but the main meal was really bland. They just serve the steak on a plate no garnish/or sauce and a few chips in a bowl separately. The service was shocking although one waitress stood out when we were first seated and was excellent the others weren’t really bothered about being there. There was no ‘enjoy your meal’ or ‘can we get you some sauces’ etc no attentiveness at all. One waiter picked up a plate and the cutlery fell off hitting one of our party. When served the steaks they were literally just thrown at us. Also.for a restaurant specialising in steaks the staff should have a good knowledge of the menu/steak cuts weights etc and be able to make recommendations and/or answer questions confidently (which they couldn’t) Maybe I went on a bad night !

I have been here for a lovely dinner by Myself , as it’s the last Bank holiday ,so wanted to spend My evening here. As a VERY regular customer, most of the time I order either the chorizo which is amazing or a lovely 7 OZ rib eye is usually My pick. I had a stunning, very tasty steak with a salad as a side choice. Their MAIN MANAGER JAY , is definitely a welcoming person, warm ,always ready , down to earth,energetic, extremely careful with all your choices, double checking everything with the others even when They are busy ,and she makes delicious COCTAILS .I personally think that the food how They serve it is beautiful.I am going to attach one of My photo of the steak what Their Man chef made yesterday. If any problem , they are all open for solutions,and They are good listeners! One of the many reasons I love to come here ,that I can feel safe.anytime if guys sits close to My table,and I had to go to the restroom,said to the Manager to watch my drink- My drink was safe all times ! They also ask everyone if everything is ok and u feel good .so U definitely can lay back and enjoy some good nights in here. Don't go any where else for steak. No restaurant even comes close!

It was a nice experience - however the quality of the steaks was not as good as I think it should be based upon the prices they charge. Service was OK. We ordered the steak platter - can't remember what it is called - that comes with 4 cuts of steak - from memory - Filet, Sirloin, Rib-Eye and Rump - they were all excellently cooked but compared to other steak restaurants we have been to was poorly seasoned. We asked our server to tell us what each cut was - she was unable to ... so we asked another server the same question - he was also unable to tell us what cut was what. The Filet was obvious as was the Rump - the other 2 - we identified via taste. But something like this needs to be taught to the staff. It is not a place we will return to. Does not live up to the pricetag.

I cannot fault the food. The steaks were flavoursome along with starters. The service from front of house was good in general. However, the whole dining experience was let down by abysmal management of larger group tables. An empty Sunday night two goups of 8ish were cramped into one small corner. The conditions were terrible, with the opposing party being unempathethic to those around them. Servers unable to reach plates and uncomfortable temperature conditions. This was highlighted to our server who I can only assume through inexperienced loudly in front of the other party asked if we want to move midway through eating our starters. The other party were waiting for drinks. This issue only continued, but in summary, conflict produced by mismanagement was handled unprofessionally and poorly.

Worst steak ever, never had something bad like this steak, nothing to do with Argentinian steak, not genuine meat, don’t spend your money in this steakhouse . You get better steak at Harvester and less expensive I’m a Argentinian steak fan and I know very well how should be and the flavour of the original steak. This steakhouse is overpriced for the food what you receive, incomparable with Buenos Aires in Ashford or London, definitely I will not recommend this steakhouse, only the wine was Argentinian and reading the reviews I’m shocked, or I have been unlucky with my non eatable experience or the clients don’t have clue what Argentinian steak means

I have used this restaurant on at least half a dozen occasions and every time it has been superb, the best steak I have ever had including multiple trips to the U.S, yes it's pricey but the food has been amazing every single time, the steak as you would expect is cooked to perfection, the side are amazing, especially the garlic mushrooms. My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bueno Aires Steak House in Maidstone and it was an experience to remember. The Ashford branch is a bit more memorable. The food was a lot nicer at Ashford too. The food was still very nice but for the price you kind of expect excellent. The steaks had too much gristly bits on it and probably from the steak platter, a quarter was gristle which is a shame.

The atmosphere on a sleepy Sunday night was still really nice and buzzy here. It’s a high quality restaurant so it was lovely to see people of all ages here, including really young kids. Husbandface and I haven’t had a date night in what feels like forever, so this was really special - and I’ll be honest, my prejudices would not have expected that from Maidstone. The steaks were some of the best we’ve ever had, the chips were so filthy I felt like I shouldn’t have been seen in public with them, and the chimichurri was great.
