No draft beer, only overpriced bottled lager, expensive night out didn't think it was value for money, as for the 12.5 % gratuity that was steep as well

I had a a very good evening as always at Buenos Aires, food was excellent steaks cooked to perfection, service was impeccable very professional, atmosphere was good not to loud, I was in a group of four, two of my group hadn't been before and they/we all thoroughly enjoy it. I would highly recommend this steak house, it's not cheap but good quality. , I've been on numerous occasions and have always had good service and food. A big thumbs up to ALL that work there BIG THANKS MARK

Fillet steak had a terrible cheese like odour and taste, although the restaurant offered to re-cook, it arrived after everyone else had finished their meal. We ended up rejecting the new meal. Such a shame as this use to be a great restaurant, but we will not be returning.

Been looking forward to our night out buy what a disappointment. Over priced dried out steak. Tiny portions and a total let down. One positive was staff were fantastic and very attentive. We won't be revisting !

Hands down one of the best steakhouses in Kent

Visited based on good reviews for a Kent Steak House. The 3 steak eaters thoroughly enjoyed their meal, one saying it was the best they had had in years! The burger was also really good. Oh, and the olives were raved about as well! We will definitely be visiting again!

I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and inviting ambience. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The restaurant's warm, rustic decor created a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere perfect for a memorable evening out. Loved the wine, creamed spinach, corn mash and massive Queen olives. However, while the steaks were deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection, they arrived only lukewarm, which was a slight disappointment in an otherwise stellar meal. Despite this, Buenos Aires remains a top choice for its outstanding service and delightful setting.

Food was really nice. I had the empanadas starter and steak main! Was delicious. Staff were very helpful and very polite! I would definitely return (note I came from London so this was well worth it).

Food was really nice and atmosphere was lovely. Service was good when we had it but there was a lot of waiting around. Drinks took quite a while to come and Our plates were collected and asked if we wanted dessert, we said yes. After 20 minutes of nobody coming back to take our order we decided to go. It took 3 attempts to try and pay.

Had to change my review after 2 years wow what a shame. Used to be so good, the last 2 times I've come they've got the order either entirely wrong or missed a meal and somebody has had to eat entirely on their own after everybody else. Is it that difficult to get an order right the place is completely empty other than us? What a shame the steaks were cooked wrong and they forgot a meal completely. Won't be coming back unfortunately. Also, make sure you order the right chorizo as a starter as one of them is actually just a Cumberland sausage, I wish i could tell you which one is the good one but roll the dice and good luck. Manager very rude when complaining although completely fair complaints. Oh deary me.

We were so disappointed with the food at Buenos Aires! We payed £77.95 for the steak sampler in the photo. Only the fillet steak was tasty, the others were really chewy and flavourless. They had clearly all just been chucked on a grill regardless of which cut they were. The two sides were single portions so you had half each to work with. The ‘sauces’ were also in the smallest little pots and one of them is oil based, so more like a dressing than a sauce. We asked for some blue cheese to go with and that came out in an actual ramekin. We had the flan casero afterwards as we still had plenty of space. This tasted nice but it was split, the texture was grainy and so we didn’t finish it. We were served by a really helpful lady and the food came out quickly, but for over £100 for a meal, we expected so much more. Really gutted to go to a steakhouse and not get good steak!

Located in the heart of Maidstone, from the outside the resturant looks quite small but is surprisingly spacious inside. A great atmosphere and amazing food would highly recommend for anyone who loves steaks.

Came here for a solo steak (while waiting to pick up my teenage son from his first date) and as solo meals go, it was perfect. Steak beautifully cooked, lovely glass of Malbec, the waitress Patricia was attentive without being overwhelming, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want from an Argentinian steak house, down to the low level jazz in the background. Can’t recommend enough.

The steak tasted amazing one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Prices are decent for the cut. After many disappointing visits at other steak restaurants this was by far the best one and only one we will attend . The staff are always helpful too

Amazing food. Fillet steak melts in the mouth. Chips are crispy on the outside , fluffy in the inside . Gorgeous . We visit the Maidstone restaurant regularly, had a bad experience last Sunday 14/4/24 but went again on Friday & things were back to amazing . 👍

I was a party of 4 and we were the only people in the restaurant all evening(Tuesday night) Our waiter was lovely and very friendly, the food was amazing as always the only thing I will say is the cocktails are much more expensive in comparison to other restaurants I've been too so really pushed the bill up at the end. Will definetly come back again though😊

Haven’t been here for a while and decided to come for food again and I was so pleased I made that choice. From walking in the door we were served with a smile and seated at our table with being able to order in a timely fashion without being rushed. The starters and steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection! I would not go anywhere else for steak! The team were amazing all serving with a smile and ensuring every guest had what they needed! Whilst the service was good we unfortunately suffered awful food poisoning resulting in myself and my partner being off work for 4 days. We both hadn’t eaten during the day and saved ourselves for this meal and then became very ill within a few hours. Despite raising this with the restaurant manager we was not given a satisfactorily report outlining their investigation but simply told that no one else reported food poisoning so couldn’t have been there restaurant which I fail to believe. I really don’t like complaining or leaving a negative review but feel strongly that this needs to be put on here as we was both extremely poorly!

Buenos Aires is where it's at if you're craving some top-notch steak and killer service. Seriously, this place is the real deal. Let's talk about the fillet steak—it's like a slice of heaven on a plate. But what really seals the deal is the service. Jay knows how to treat you right. She’s on it without being all up in your business, and her recommendations are on point. So, if you're in the mood for a taste of Argentina with a side of awesomeness, do yourself a favor and hit up Buenos Aires. You won't regret it.

Great steak, don't bother with anything else, fiercely overpriced and mediocre service. Really object to a 'forced' service charge but couldn't be bothered to argue.

A complete shambles place needs closing down the meat was grey and had to send it back. Staff was extremely poor

Great steaks, buts that's all. Very very expensive for what you get. There's no doubt, Argentinian steak is some of the best in the world and that was good. The salad is pretty poor / average, Tesco mixed salad with some dressing for £6. Peppercorn sauce, bland. Many things needed seasoning, a bit of salt and pepper. One pudding was inedible and sent back - credit to staff there, but we waited for the bill, for drinks, for a water jug that never arrived .... I absolutely object to having a 10% service charge automatically added. As I didn't want the embarrassment of a discussion that would have spoilt the night; I paid. Shame because we have another celebration next month but it won't be here.

We had a fantastic meal Beunos Aires, our third or fourth visit. The food was amazing, the steaks juicy and brilliantly well cooked, and the service was to a great standard. We'll done guys, we look forward to coming back.

Great food, tables are a bit small and cramped, you can eat and have a drink but you can't stay and enjoy the company your with as you only get an hour and half to have a 3 course meal

Had a lovely early valentine’s day dinner here this evening. front of house staff were attentive, helpful and informative. Lovely meal, steak was beautiful but the real standouts from this meal were the peppercorn sauce and the fluffy chips. great choice of wine. great atmosphere for a private evening.

We ordered Rib eye steaks and considering the price I was expecting a nice steak. The quality of these steaks were really poor and we have actually had nicer home cooked steaks from Aldi which was truly disappointing. We wouldn't return for this reason.

Rib Eye steak very disappointing, whilst I am conscious it is a fatty cut, half of it was inedible (extremely hard chewy fatty pieces. Certainly not the quality from a place charging Michelin Star prices! I pointed the fattiness out to the waitress who said she would take up with the chef .... but did not and we heard nothing from the manager or Maitre De (the short haired lady) ..... we were presented with a 'full' bill. My wife's fillet steak was very nice. We are fair people and we know the difficulties hospitality has had throughout and post pandemic ... so we paid to support the restaurant. I expect to receive some feedback from the restaurant ... if not, we will not be going back.

I cannot recommend enough…. My son wanted to take me to London to another well known famous Argentine steak restaurant for my birthday 🥳 but I couldn’t make a journey like that as I had been unwell…. So he checked reviews and the website (typical millennials 😂) and found this amazing place! Well I am so glad we changed our plans and he discovered Buenos Aires in Maidstone…. The most delicious, melt in the mouth ribeye steak I have ever had the pleasure to taste, I didn’t want the meal to end! The calamari starter was amazing too…. We had a lovely time, staff were lovely, attentive, but not crowding, lovely atmosphere, perfect for a special date, or occasion. We will be back again very soon, my mouth is already watering at the prospect 🤤

This is the second time we have eaten in this restaurant, spent about £220 for the two of us. meal was great wine was fantastic, seemed very busy but no drop in service to when we last came here, staff efficient and very friendly, dinning room very clean and tidy and modern. The only thing I never like in any restaurant is the gratuity being added to the bill automatically, I always like to leave cash for a tip, apart from that excellent evening

This was our first time at this restaurant, and I'm sorry to say we won't be back. The food was fantastic, that can't be faulted, but a 45 min wait for a starter followed by another 45 min wait for steaks is not acceptable, especially when a table for 4 cost us over £200. Very disappointed to say the least.

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent throughout the evening, I had been before, but I took my brother & sister in law for dinner, they were very impressed with whole evening, as was I Thankyou for a lovely & memorable evening

Putting it simply do not eat here If you want this level of cooking go to harvester or beefeater as this is over priced for what it is. A dedicated steakhouse that can’t cook a £40 steak to perfection is quite literally failing at all levels. Creamed spinach that is dry is unacceptable and green beans that arrive as a variety of overcooked/undercooked and cooked well is a simply a feat in itself. Can’t really say how over priced and under whelming this is as a restaurant.

Over priced rubbish. If a specialist steak restaurant can’t cook a ribeye steak perfectly first time then they are failing at all levels. Creamed spinach dry and tiny portion. Green beans a mix of over cooked / cooked and /under cooked which is a feat in itself. Harvester/beefeater level of cooking. Do not go here if you want value for money and good steak

Food was great. Drinks were good but value for money on some drinks was appalling. Didn’t mind paying £7 for a bottle on beer BUT did take offence at being charged almost £7 for a soda and lime for my children. Three drinks of soda and lime costing almost £20. Which I considered an absolute rip off. When challenged I was offered a refund for one drink. Other venues charge considerably less. Sad to say, loved the food, liked the Restuarant but won’t be going back….. will head to Miller & Carter.

Although they was short staffed they handled things very well. Starters wasn’t excellent but ok. Steak was spot on and perfectly cooked.

Steak was excellent quality. Burgers extremely underwhelming and sides a little sad. Cocktails tasty but lacking in alcohol, like single or small measures had been used. Steak was literally a piece of steak and some chips. Overpriced sauces on the side were okay but silly additional costs, plus we don’t realise there would be zero veg on the side. Service was great, very open happy and helpful, but specially for an early sitting the price tag just wasn’t worth it. Would have settled for an inferior steak, but also would have appreciated a better selection of flavours and sides in a generic steak chain such as Miller & Carter (and I am not a big fan of their misplaced belief they’re anything but a polished Beefeater). Put simply - really good steak, but the bang just not worth the buck.

My partner and I came here just before Christmas for a date night. We were served the loveliest meal either of us have had for a while. The quality of the food is nothing short of exceptional, as was the service we experienced. We were checked on multiple times and our water jug was refilled as soon as we had finished it. We were more than happy with our meal here and will definitely be back.

The back of the restaurant was draughty so I had to keep my cardigan on. The Christmas meal was a washout. Wouldn’t recommend it especially the potatoes. The waitress was really good.

We visited on a Wednesday evening, we thought it might be busier being a few weeks before Christmas, but for the majority of the evening, my wife and I were the only 2 customers there, so that obviously impacted the ambience to quite a large degree. Couldn’t fault the food though, steaks were excellent and the 2 female staff were pleasant and attentive.

It was a really lovely birthday meal and our waiter was excellent, they were so patient with us especially when it came to figuring out what we wanted, it was also nice that all the food came in it at once even considering the fact that we had quite a large group! And the food was delicious, me and my partner have already said we will definitely be coming back

Myself and my partner go here every year for our birthdays and anniversary and have never had a bad meal, so on Thursday 30th November we thought of no better place to spend the evening From the moment we walked in we were greeted by nothing but friendly, smiley and very professional staff. from the host (Mia) to the chefs. The food was perfect, the atmosphere was amazing. The service as always to the highest standard and did not fail this time either. Our waitress for the evening was a young lady called Patty, we remember her on our last visit (i believe our last visit was her first shift so shy but amazing that evening too) and she was as nothing less than perfect this time either. What an amazing young lady and a real assets to the staff at BA. I've worked in and around the catering industry for over 2 decades and I would be honored to have the staff at your restaurant working in one of my teams. Thank you so much to Mia, Patty and the chefs at BA Nights for yet another amazing dinner and evening.

Wasn’t offered the 2/3 course menu. Slow service and only had one waiter on shift My partners 30th birthday and made a note of this and no effort was made from the team to act knowledge this. Overall poor service and for a meal for 2 people which was over £200 we didn’t enjoy the evening at all!
