German Doner Kebab in Havant

Me and my husband recently visited German Doner in Havant while fasting, and I couldn't be more impressed with the outstanding service provided by DJ and his team. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that they genuinely cared about our experience. We requested the food at a specific time to break our fast, and it was delivered hot and on the dot — truly impressive! What stood out most was the customer service. DJ and the team made sure to check in with us, ensuring that everything was to our liking and that we were comfortable. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt well looked after, which made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. I left feeling completely satisfied, not just with the delicious food, but with the lovely, attentive service. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for excellent hospitality and great care!

Best kebab! Tasty as can be! Proper bread instead of that flavourless pita.... lovely , clean restaurant. Never waited long for order. 100% recommend!

I don't really do kebabs but thought we'd give this a go and its ruddy lovely! So much choice. We chose to eat in but they do take-aways and delivery. Will definitely be going back for seconds!!

the portion sizes were soo small

great food and an excellent delivery driver. we forgot to change our address and he was happy to come to the correct place, was very professional and very friendly and such a nice guy. very impressed with the driver, a real credit to Just Eat.

The food was good quality and tasted really nice! Unfortunately it was stone cold so we had to heat it up in the air fryer and eat separately instead of as a family. But i would definitely eat this in house again

Really yummy food. Delivery selected for ASAP, waited approx 40 mins - not bad at all considering Saturday evening. However the fries were cold (not warm) cold. The kebabs were thankfully still warm (still yummy). Price - Expensive overall. Just over £40 we paid and that was to feed 2 peeps (one fat person, one small person). I'd return if I was given a cash bonus at work but the bab van down road will sufice at half the price. *done 4 stars for 'atmosphere', not sure how to mark this considering I'm ordering from home and my own isn't boring to me...

It was an amazing experience having panini and OG kebab . Never had such well cooked doner meat . The staff were very friendly. I would strongly suggest if you want food with delightful experience. GDK HAVANT IS THE BEST PLACE TO GO .

German doner kebab havant is best, completely different than other branches. Had cozy and clean atmosphere Service is best kudos to team, DJ is best attentive knowledgeable and offering great suggestions without being over bearing.

ordered a plain donner burger with no onion and no ketchup, Burger had both onion and a ton of ketchup, ive been told this place is really good but not being able to read and follow basic instructions is very disappointing

I wrote a poor review when this restaurant opened as it wasn't great in the first days. It is only fair that, having visited again, it is vastly improved. The staff were attentive and knew their menu, and the food was great. I can now recommend it for grwat kebabs and more.

First time in this place. Very clean, staff were polite and couldn't help us enough. Seating was plentiful, and it's like a cross between a fast food joint and a sit-down joint. The food was absolutely bang-on, very tasty and good quality. Will definitely be back (despite the dodgy music on the speakers!).

I ordered two plant-based kebabs from GDK in Havant on a recommendation from a friend. I spoke to a member of staff who was very helpful who told me that the plant-based kebabs were very nice and that the staff liked them. On that recommendation I ordered two (one for me and one for my wife) to take home. Sadly the plant-based kebab was not good at all. The plant-based meat substitute was very ‘rubbery’ and chewy and tasted bland - no taste at all. The plant-based meat alternative was also chunky (unlike thin donner strips) which added to the chewy/rubbery texture. I have eaten plant-based kebabs elsewhere that are far superior and much tastier than what we experienced from GDK in Havant. Sadly the majority of the two kebabs went in the bin as they were inedible as previously described and at £18 that was an expensive error. Following on from your reply below (because there is no option to respond to your reply below) reference requesting the 'spice' to be added separately please note that was the case with one kebab but the other kebab came with the spice added and once we ascertained that the spice was not too hot for my wife we added it to the other kebab too, along with using the garlic dips to try to enhance the taste. However, (as I am sure you can figure out) the spice and garlic dips made no difference to the chewy/rubbery texture and/or size of the chunks of the plant-based meat alternative which did not resemble tinly sliced donner type stips of meat. As opposed to another excuse I'd now like a full refund and I'll be coming in with my receipt the next time I'm in Havant. Mark Dawes Lt RN (Retired).

I went to GDK in Havant on the recommendation of a friend. On arrival I spoke to a member of staff about GDK's plant-based kebab. The member of staff was very helpful and told me that although she had never had one some of the staff liked the plant-based kebab. On that advice I purchased two plant-based kebab's to take away (one for myself and one for my wife). Sadly the plant-based kebab was not good at all. The plant-based meat alternative was chewy and rubbery in texture and was completely tasteless. Also, unlike donner kebab strips of meat the plant-based alternative was chunky, which, combined with it's chewy/rubbery texture, wasn't a pleasant experience to try and eat at all. Now I have had plant-based kebabs before from other kebab shops and many have been very nice, but GDK's offering was not a pleasant experience which resulted in the two kebabs ending up in our bin after one bite, which at £19 for the meal was an expensive mistake.

Our delivery seemed to go a long way stopping at multi other locations, make our dinner cold! Very disappointed tonight!

LOVE GDK, always my go-to order, also order the bossbox, with extra spring rolls. Sadly this time they didn’t have the drink I wanted and they forgot my extra spring rolls which I paid for :/ it’s the first time they’ve made a mistake so I’ll still use them, just a shame this time they forgot it

OG kebab delivered including spicy sauce and onions and had no red cabbage. We asked to have spicy sauce removed, onions removed then add red cabbage.

This is the first time I've ever ordered from here as the price always put me off. The food turned up on time but unfortunately it was practically cold by the time I got to eat it. The kebab had a good filling and nice flavours but just a shame it was cold. Also ordered a side of cheese chips and mix meat. The portion was OK but not great for the value in my opinion. All round not bad, but very expensive for an ok meal. A kebab and side of cheese chips with delivery was £19 per person.

All of it is good other than the jr burger I got spicy and ketchup and they were both horrible, bread is lowest quality and cheap and it’s barely filled with meat, rest is fine

The kebabs were great as always but the chip portions seem to be getting much smaller and the chips were a stone cold temperature.

I recently visited German Doner Kebab and decided to try their Panini chicken.The chicken in the Panini was perfectly seasoned, with a nice balance of spices that enhanced the smoky, grilled flavor. It was juicy, tender, and worked wonderfully with the garlic sauce, adding a creamy richness.Overall, the Panini chicken at German Doner Kebab was a delightful surprise. For the price, the portion size and quality were more than satisfactory. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a filling, flavorful meal. The Lady who was in the till very energetic smiley face, helpful ,Thanks Veverly..Will come back again.

If it's for doner kebab then it should be GDK HAVANT ......we enjoyed the entire meal . The garlic sauce is awsome. Best deals they have is on the GDK APP. Best customer service

Tasty and yummy food vegan and plant based is best

Amazing kebab - tasty slaw, good meat, crunchy bun. Putting the sauce separately in a pot is actually a good idea - the kebab doesn’t get all moist and mushy. Superb fries (really hot and crispy - take note, McDonald’s!).

It's in their slogan: Doner done right. Their dishes are consistently on point. Definitely the best go-to if you can't decide what to have: Boss Box OG - that'll cover all the bases and you won't be coming out that food coma for a while 🤤

A little pricey but excellent quality. Would have enjoyed a slightly larger portion size for the money.

Very small portions, very small sauces.

I went with a friend to the German donor kebab last Friday in Havant for the first time, The food was excellent however the large portion of fries was too small. However regarding the fries being small, I spoke to Louise and she was fantastic, she changed my fries and her customer service was excellent. Well done to Louise. Just wish there was more people in the world like Louise.

My first experience of this restaurant and I am sure I will be back. The meal deal was best for me as had a beef kebab with chips which was great value and tasted great!. My friend had the chicken with extra chicken and large fries. The chicken kebab didn't seem as large as my standard kebab so probably not worth paying the extra 2.49 for extra chicken just go for the standard. The chips my friend had were a very small portion for a large so again just go for the standard meal deal as my portion of chips was good. However the food tasted great and we got excellent customer service from Louise who looked after us. So go for the standard meal and you won't go wrong. The bread used for the kebab was really nice as well.

A bit quiet but that's expected for fast food. Food is tasty different and new and GOSH so much food for thr price it's crazy haha! Lovely feller at the counter was so friendly and smiley and doubled checked to see if we were OK I felt like I was in a restraint with servers who knew what they were doing and well experienced! The worst kebab I've ever had.if you can call not even a mouthful of cut up kebab meat put in a large piece of bread a donner kebab they need to go back to Germany.go round to havant kebab and there's enough meat in one of there kebabs to fill 20 of yours. Also no hot drinks mind you you don't need to wash the food down as there's not alot to wash down lol.waste of money rip off.

Chips cold and soggy, kebabs Luke warm at best. First and last time for this experience. Food was delivered on time I think we were the last delivery on his trip the box was empty on delivery.

The staff was very helpful as never been before, she explained all the menu and service was excellent. Food was nice and plentiful. only downfall for us was the music, it was loud and rap music so we couldn't get of the place out quick enough. Awful racket!
