The best restaurants serving French food in South East

Lovely meal and drinks. Busy for a Tuesday night but friendly staff and great service.

Perfect atmosphere, perfect staff and perfect food! We could not fault this restaurant, the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a great time here. Will definitely be returning!!

I can’t think of anywhere better than Pierre Victoire for lunch! The prix fixé menu is superb - we three had the Calamars, the pate and the spinach salad … followed by the steak frites (onglet steak in a beautiful rich sauce), the chicken salad and the fish of the day which was stone bass… and delicious. Great service and great price… always a winner!

We booked online. We had an upgrade from a twin room to a double & single. We could see the sea from our room. It was comfortable & well appointed. The shower room was beju but worked well in the space. The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was an additional £12.50 each, but lovely. I can not eat wheat, gluten, or dairy. I had brought my own bread just in case, which was toasted in the oven to avoid cross-contamination in the toaster. We had fresh strawberries to start followed by local bacon, scrambled egg, grilled tomatoes & mushrooms. My son had full English as the sausages contained gluten, as did the hash brown. Lashings of tea & juice set us up for our journey home. Parking is an issue. We did manage to park on the square after we came back from the show. It would be worth booking parking in advance to guarantee a place.

Frankie, our waitress, was outstanding—cheerful, savvy, and super welcoming. Her spot-on recommendation of the blueberry and lemon curd fool for dessert was a treat. She turned our meal into something special with her top-tier service, and we can’t wait to come back for more!

Really lovely food and great options. The staff were brilliant, especially Ash, Ethan and Tristan, all went above and beyond, really well presented, attentive, friendly and kind to us.

Nos dieron un vale de £ 200 para este restaurante y la comida costó £ 158. Compramos una botella de vino de £ 44, que era mucho dinero para no un buen vino, permítaseme agregar. Al final de una comida no tan buena, nos cobraron £ 54. Cuando nos interrogaron nos dijeron que el vino no venía con el vale ya que era de una empresa diferente. Nos sentamos junto a una madre y 2 niños que se sentaron golpeando la olla de sal y pimienta durante toda la comida. ¿Tal vez una restricción de edad sería una buena idea? No es una buena experiencia. No recomendaríamos este lugar a nadie. Un montón de dinero para no buena comida.

El peor lugar para tener una fiesta. Inicialmente los gerentes que ayudamos y complaciente vienen el día de la fiesta que tenían restricciones en todo - la comida se sirvió tan rápido que querían que terminara antes de que pudiera comenzar. Si era como si tuviéramos tu dinero ahora come y vete, los niños no podían jugar o correr por ahí o tenían un problema con los globos, los gerentes son groseros, lo que pone una decepción en un día muy especial. Ojalá hubiera reservado algo más. Qué desperdicio de nuestro dinero ganado.

The staff were great and the actual food I had, was very good however the anomaly is they offer a Sunday roast where you can only have the mixed meat option if there are two of you. I could not understand why you could not have this as a single person but alas you’re not allowed,maybe something to think about in the future which would make it even better.

Hemos comido en la London Street Brasserie en ocasiones especiales durante un período de 25 años. Siempre ha sido excelente. El almuerzo de ayer no fue la excepción. El menú ofrecía una buena variedad de opciones y estaba claramente anotado con información sobre alergias. Había muchos artículos que no tenían gluten o tenían opciones – incluyendo pan GF, el informe sobre el pan GF era que en realidad era un placer comer (ohh tan raro). [Olvidé preguntar de dónde lo obtienen] . Las porciones eran generosas y uno tenía una clara sensación de relación calidad-precio. El ‘entrante de cóctel de langosta, langostino y aguacate’ [ver imagen] tenía muchos de los elementos caros. Un factor pequeño pero importante fue que el jus del plato principal y la salsa de natillas con postre se aplicaron generosamente, por lo que a menudo una creación clave del chef se divide como un pensamiento decorativo en lugar de un elemento significativo del plato en sí mismo. No es sorprendente que el café, Americano – negro, era bueno también. El personal era amable, atento pero no dominante. Esperamos la próxima vez que tengamos una excusa para comer allí.

My friend & I had a wonderful breakfast as usual, delicious & amazing views. We were seen quickly by Megan who was very friendly & professional, checking we were ok, our food was good etc, asking if we needed anything else. A thoroughly wonderful experience. Will come again soon.
