The best restaurants serving French food in England

A great dinner in good company. The young waitress was very efficient and friendly. The food was delicious - especially the duck salad to start. The tiramisu was a bit too big after the other good meals.

Amazing team that always makes my visit to this place a great experience. Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and of course a very attentive waiters & the whole of the management team. No walk ins on a Thursday morning at 11!

Food was nice but left you wanting more. Service was terrible, first of all the threw a portion of chips over us and then had the audacity to charge us for 2 portions of chips for replacement that they brought out. Then they kept trying to take our food away before we were finished. Won’t be going back

This place will blow your socks off. Excellent staff amazing spa brilliant rooms affordable sandwiches and the fact that it is dog friendly trumps other places of this standard. Recommend the walk(s) from here you don't have to go far but open fields and beautiful views of the estate. An exceptional calming and peaceful break in one of the most amazing clusters of buildings you are likely to see in your life especially the lounge. Wow! All from a 15th century manor designed specifically for entertainment. The history literally oozes out of the walls. Really well kept building(s)/ paint/ decor etc. Hats off to the owners.

Three of us, yet again, had an outstanding meal at Cote in Clifton last evening. The food was excellent, the wine delectable but the care taken by all the staff, without exception, put the final touch on our evening. Thank you all at Cote! Christopher.

This is a fantastic restaurant, great location and nice and friendly staff a special mention to Emily and Pamala, my wife and I went for dinner yesterday evening, I had the crab which was presented well and look appetising but unfortunately 4 pieces of shell and a bit of bone I ate half but didn’t want to chance the rest as I had expensive dental treatment the week before, the disappointing thing is I wasn’t offered any discount or even a drink on the house, the crab was not cheap at £25.00 for a crab starter. The main was great and dessert excellent, cocktails even better. We are local and are regular at the restaurant.

Heard great things about this so decided to check it out. To start the kidneys were undercooked and had not been properly prepared. The scallops were underwhelming. Then we had the pork check which the mash was thin and the sauce was more like dish water. It is a very pricey restaurant and I won’t be returning.

Low key, not expensive and great!

We always enjoy our visits to this Cote Brasserie. Pleased they have their breakfast deal back on with the juice and hot drink included. Big fan of their breakfast.

Excellent food as usual tried the new hake dish, was delicious also the new dessert Wild Strawberry Paris-BrestCustom choux bun it was so yummy!

We enjoyed our meal here the night before we flew. Even though the hotel was extremely busy we were not squashed into tables too close together and had a very relaxing time with good food and great service. Bar staff were excellent.

Great location and amazing Spa!

What a fab afternoon with friends, the Sunday roast was amazing and loved the music. Looking forward to coming back in January
