Came to diner, victor was amazing as our server. We came as a big group probably quite annoying! But he was attentive and lovely, and look after us amazingly! Thank you!

I was taken to this restaurant for Mothers Day & had a super special evening meal made even more special by our waitress Gioia who was very attentive & knowledgeable on our food choices & wine. Everyone in our party had different food & each of us thoroughly enjoyed it, finished off by beautiful desserts. Definitely recommend, the atmosphere is excellent for both groups, families & romantic couples.

Yesterday again Cote excelled. Three of us thoroughly enjoyed dinner yesterday. The food was delicious, the wine excellent but, above all, the service was outstanding - friendly, informative and caring. We had an evening to remember!

Food for 2 kids and 2 adults took about an hour to arrive. And when food was served, our child’s meal arrived last and when it arrived, it was the wrong meal. They did still automatically put the service charge on even though they’ve made a mistake on the meal. There were more fats in the lamb than meat and we couldn’t find any watercress in the salad described in the chicken mean. Serving was very small as well.

This is a popular and well supported venue. We were reluctant to make a booking in advance as easyJet is often delayed. When it became apparent that our flight was roughly on time we tried to book but nothing was available in our time window. We decided to take a chance and walk up. On arrival at our hotel I noticed that a table had become available so booked it and arrived at the restaurant early. We were delighted to be seated on arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a great ambience in the restaurant. Loads of things on the menu I would have been happy to eat. In fact we would have been happy to go back the next day for another meal if we had the opportunity. Recommended.

We enjoyed a fabulous night with friends. Lovely cozy French bistro feel with wonderful food and wine. Every dish was very good even though they were fully booked and very busy.

Apparently the restaurant has had a makeover, unfortunately the food didn't compliment the decor. Our meal was overpriced and bland. The fish dish consisting mainly of potato, sauce and 3 prawns. Certainly won't be returning. Situated amongst a number of other eateries Cote will have to up there game.

With a relaxed, upmarket ambience and delicious food, Cote do a good job of simulating a French bistro. An added bonus is that service is friendly as well as fast. The current Alpine menu gives you that apres-ski feeling without travelling hundreds of miles, or indeed doing any exercise at all. I recommend enjoying a glass of wine with it and finishing with hot chocolate laced with Grand Marnier.

Service was very good in the end but food was terrible. Over 5 dishes sent back as inedible and we rarely complain. We were told that dishes are centrally cooked and reheated at each branch so not much they could do to improve the dish.

I hadn't been that keen on this branch on a couple of visits since the pandemic, felt it had really lost its touch- bland food, disorganised service.. But we were back in Clifton and dinner plans elsewhere in town fell through, so we went on a last minute decision to the newly refurbed version. I loved it!!! Definitely back to where it used to be, the food was great, so was the service. I love the idea of the cheese menu too, although didn't sample it this time. The only thing I didn't like was being rammed in elbow to elbow with other tables and a party right behind us- I appreciate that it is easier for the staff to serve in sections, but the restaurant is huge and was nowhere near full- we could have spread out a little bit- it makes everything noisy and claustrophobic. Birthday meal for my daughter’s 18th. Welcome drink, most welcome, nice touch. We ordered the olives and the fougasse to start. Breton chicken, ribeye steak and the mushroom quiche were the mains. All cooked to perfection and well presented. To drink, the 1664 a Sauvignon blanc and a bottle of water for the table. We unfortunately had no room for dessert. The service was excellent, venue very good, the little touches and attention to detail mean so much. A thank you to Tibor our server. Attentive but not intrusive. Cote always delivers for delicious food, excellent ambience and wonderful service but today’s experience in Clifton was something extra special. We went for a Father’s Day meal and the team (in particular the manager) could not have been more lovely, friendly, welcoming, helpful, personable and just all round brilliant. Little things like helping with our pram and rearranging a table for us - doesn’t sound much but was done in such a lovely way and nothing was any trouble. It's been a few years since we actually dined in France but this is exactly how we would like that to be. The staff were friendly, professional and just right in terms of attentiveness and speed. The atmosphere on a Saturday evening was suitable convivial. The meals were simply excellent: my lamb rump was spot on; my wife's parmentier fish (fish pie) was also very good. Our desserts - creme caramel and chocolate fondant - were divine. I have had great food/experiences in Cote Brasserie before but am always a little nervous that chains can be variable. I had no need to worry and should have known that Clifton diners would demand the best.

Two couples had a great evening start by getting a parking slot outside the Restaurant. The interior was buzzy and lively but not rowdy which was really good. The food is very tasty and gives you a feel of France. Two of us had French onion soup then the Fish stew, top marks for taste and sensible portions. We have had many lunches at Cote Clifton and all have been enjoyable. The evening meal was really good, not cheap by any means, the 10% Service charge put on after the VAT sneaks another couple of percent onto the bill but I must not nit pick.
