We came today for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Our server was so friendly and really took the time to explain everything and have general chit chat which was very welcoming and nice! The food was amazing, I personally recommend the chicken gyozas with teriyaki, the bao buns were delicious too!! The range of sushi was very yummy. Will definitely be coming again!

I had a lovely lunch at Yo! Cabot today. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious—the chefs did a great job. Jake and Nour were especially friendly, and I felt relaxed in the restaurant. I highly recommend to order beef teriyaki bowl.

It just seemed far too expensive and a cold and unpleasant place to eat food. The atmosphere was really horrible and the staff were relatively unattentive to when you wanted to order anything off of the menu no one looked happy and it reflected on everyone else. To get a proper meal you would need to spend to much to feel satisfied, I left after a small taste of the menu because that was already expensive I found food elsewhere. The conveyor selection was very disappointing. I went in for dinner so this could be why but the selection is very small and with nothing that stood out or was simple. It was all leftovers that had clearly been there for hours because no one else wanted to eat what was going around, it seemed like a waste. The fish was fresh and tasted nice which you would hope for a sushi restaurant but it wasn't quite good enough to justify the price. You get far better value at Itsu or even a small sushi platter from the nearby Sainsbury's or Tesco. The one positive is that you can look at the chefs preparing your food which is nice, you get peace of mind at the freshness if you order from the menu. I can't recommend this place it was disappointing for a concept that could be much better.

Has definitely gone downhill recently, only one guy greeting and serving people which is madness. On a regular weekday afternoon last week, there was a queue out the door, and took me 15 minutes to collect my order, by which time it was cold. Cannot understand why Yo restaurants regularly only have one waiter, especially now they’ve removed the QR code ordering too. Often orders are cancelled or not event cancelled till you show up and are told it’s out of stock, yet you can order it online and on the iPad in store…It’s a shame as the food as this branch is normally pretty good! And with blue light discount some things are a bargain for a hot grab and go lunch. The food here is normally better than the Cribbs one in my opinion, however the service is just ridiculous. The poor guy looked as frustrated as everyone in the queue. Really needs some focus on staff

Such slow service considering how quiet it is. Only two servers and they were so lethargic. This place has gone downhill. Food was okay when it eventually arrived an hour after ordering. But then some of my order was missed out and when I asked where it was and got told they had just run out. Judging by the other low reviews and the fact most of the toilets were out of order this place is just hanging on by a thread. AVOID! There are many better independent sushi places near College Green a 15 minute walk away. I would go find sushi there.

I had booked in December for sushi school last week - it was a Christmas present for my husband. I received a phone call an hour before we were due to start to say it had been cancelled. Michael, the manager, couldn’t be bothered to call himself and instead left the call to an employee who didn’t really know what was going on. She did inform me that the only person who runs sushi school left the day before. So, with notice periods, manager Michael would have been fully aware that the event wouldn’t have gone ahead. I have had no call from him to arrange a refund. I have communicated with the booking people at head office and they have tried to fob me off by telling me they will ‘investigate’. Please do investigate but in the meantime, refund me my money. Currently, no one is responding to requests for my money to be refunded (over £70!). Absolutely unacceptable. AVOID. UPDATE: After a week of being fobbed off while they ‘investigate’, I have finally been contacted by someone who has informed me they have initiated a refund.

Came here for dinner by myself. Was sat at a table and then left too it. No one came up and asked if I wanted to order a drink or anything off the menu. After about 20 minutes I managed to catch a member of staff to order food. Again no one came to check food was okay. Then had insanely difficult time trying to get the bill. The service was very poor which is a shame as food is lovely. Was much better when you could order on phone as then you didn't need to wait for someone to take order. Disappointing visit due to complete lack of service .

We came today in Yo! cabbot circus as a family of 4. There's queue. We r happy to wait 15min as the manager said, theres waiting time. Half of the restaurant empty. It was 2:00-2:30pm. After 5mins of waiting there was young boy staff came to us and said its better for us to come back, he said its better for us to come back and not wait inside. Technically he kicking us out. We decided to go opposite GBK after disappointment

I would go here on the odd occasion and it was great every time, yet now it’s awful. They have removed the QR Code Ordering system/ Table Numbers, and in replacement have one waiter who wasn’t helpful at all, didn’t even give a menu. This now means you wait 20minutes to get seated, and then 20minutes to order, when before it would be a few minutes. After I ordered I was then told they ran out of the fish, and was forced to get something else. As for the food - overpriced. They have raised their prices making it extremely expensive, yet the quality and value for money has got worse. In addition, the conveyor belt kept making a squeaking noise, which is very irritating and annoying, making the environment not pleasant. Not going back to this place again, would recommend people not to bother!

We were seated with barely any space between families when there were other spaces free away from them. The conveyor belt was broken and made a horrible squeaking sound for the entirety of our meal. You can either order here or have running sushi and then pay for what you ate. I chose the running option and the food was good, but I would probably appreciate a more diverse offer. They ate pretty much the same food all the time. And it was quite cold there, and there was a couple sitting next to me in jackets. Otherwise, it's a nice business.

Visited here for first time after a few recommendations. Will sum it up in general - some dishes are quality and really hit the palate and deliver delicious notes on the taste buds, other dishes not so much, and let down a little bit in areas. Overall had a fair share of plates from ordering and taking from the belt, a lot the same dishes were coming round on the belt without much variation, did take edamame, duck and katsu sushi. Duck was hit and miss not much flavour and katsu was good but not mouth watering, my last attempt at the belt was a avocado and shrimp sushi and that was incredible, that was the hight light from the belt dishes. Ordered a selection of - shrimp, chicken gyoza, katsu chicken, loaded duck fries these ordered dishes were certainly better and all of the above were very tasty and hit the spot. Overall some quality stuff here but nothing to shout about it’s a good stop for sushi bar style food on the go, or resting while shopping and getting some good food in without getting greesy food from surrounding outlets. What did shock me was the price I was expecting to pay around £60 for 2 but bill came in close to £100 for 2 and I wouldn’t say I left full, did have to eat again that evening. Overall will score this visit a solid 7/10 - due to price and some dishes being below average. Will go back again one day and try again.

Food was delicious and fresh, however very expensive for what it is. Probably better to order actual dishes from the menu than having lots of small plates. We spent £68 for just 2 of us, on small plates and 2 drinks each. This was lunch and a pricey treat. It was extremely busy, so therefore, service was slower than usual.

Went for the bottomless sushi deal tonight with low expectations but had to leave a review as we were pleasantly suprised! For £59 for 2 people it was an amazing deal. Super busy but the chefs worked hard to keep the belt full so we had lots of choice and more than got our moneys worth, it wasnt just cheaper plates either there was a good selection of their most expensive sushi options. The sushi obviously isnt top restaurant quality but very good for the price. The waiters were friendly and available if we needed anything, after being put off a few years back we are glad we gave it another go. The only negative is that the selection wasnt huge it was a lot of the same dishes being put on the belt.

Walked in today to an empty restaurant at 12 noon. Asked for a table for two and was shown to the Sushi bar. We requested seating with a back rest rather than stools and was told we couldn't have a booth because we were not a party of 4. The restaurant was empty, all the booths were empty, the server would not budge. So we walked out.

Had a very French family dinner here to celebrate the birthday of grandma ! It’s a really popular restaurant and we managed to get a successful reservation first time ! Start with lamb kidney , snail, goat cheese, bone marrow, main course served Guinea fowl, lamb rib and crab souffle, the food quality and quantity is great and the staff are always with the smile and polite even when clean the spilled mocktail drink, British Service!
