We're always welcomed as friends. Food is sublime, ambience is, as ever, superb and front of house manager, she is a joy!

We all had a great time, the food was delicious.

Great food, very efficient service. Very nice staff and atmosphere . Location is perfect . A bit pricey but worth it. Perfect for business much. There is also a small private room

The worst Cote Brasserie ever! The food was worst beef bourgoin ive ever tasted it turned meat boiled in a plastic bag ,enough to make you vomit just thinking of it . They constantly mixed the orders and our group of 5 people who each had the stater at a different time! The pate was almost runny disgusting. On top of the i skidded off on my way to the toilet when i arrived so mentioned to a waiter that the floor is greasy and something needed to be done about he just looked at me and ignored me . Later when on my way to the ladies this time i skided and ened up on the floor hit my head hard againststacked wooden childseats and my my left hip and knee hit the floor so hard was bruised ( my scalp ) too for 2 weeksvi couldn't turn to my left side in bed i still have photosvof all the bruises . Where i slipped there was chips on the floor and greease as the area is literally almost kitchen to stairs so whatever they spilt it landed there! It turned out they clean the floor before they shut ! Fortunately i didn't break a bone but for a whole week i felt like being beaten up . I have in the regularly dined at the one in southbank few times London bridge also couple of times the barbican all with excellent quality food hygiene and service. So i know what kind of food and appreciate the quality of it . This is the worst i ve evere been

I like the cosiness of COTE at St Christopher's Place. Great menu with options available for pescatarian. The neighbourhood is lovely. Would revisit for sure

We have ordered then plum clafoutis but it looks like more a fondant than a plum. I wanted to find the clafoutis of my childhood but it seemed to not be cooked well. The most disappointing part was at the billing. I came with a friend and we wanted to pay separately but they wanted us to split the bill which we didn’t want. We didn’t want to pay the service charge and it was our right but the waiter refused by saying he cannot to that as he would have to go downstairs and disturb the manager in his office. He was thinking we were stupid and was then mocking us and proud of his action. Do not deserve the price and not good service. Will not recommend it.

Disappointing food in a lovely atmosphere; I'd give this location a miss. As someone with celiac, I eat at Cote relatively regularly but this location's kitchen is not as good as most. At breakfast and another day at dinner my food came to me room temperature, as if it had sat waiting, even though the time between ordering and receiving was relatively low. My seabass was at least well cooked & not over cooked, but the redpepper sauce was devoid of flavour and oily, as were the potatoes. My spinach, pear & walnut salad had seen better days; personally, I'd have been embarassed to send it out to anyone, much less someone paying for it.

Excellent place for a casual diner or a programmed one specially with their newsletter (we got a free Kir Royale). The food was very tasty and the service impeccable. At some point, the services became a little bit slow for our dessert, but they mend it with another Kir Royale. Definitely going back!!

Eggs florentine with a side of avocado.. simply divine!! Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and coffee! Staff super nice and extremely pleasant atmosphere overall

Service was fantastic. We were a big group and stayed for 4 hours! I would’ve given the staff the right to ask us to leave but instead they were very kind, attentive and made us feel welcome to stay

The crème caramel was delicious, I definitely recommend going here for the dessert. We as well ordered the steak and calamari, the calamari is extremely delicious.

I didn’t go for lunch or dinner, I simply went for the Crème Caramel which people have been talking much about. What a disappointment. It was absolutely nothing to write home about, just a normal dessert that was hyped up for reasons that I don’t know about. And the service, don’t let me start. 40 minutes to service this dish?! Seriously !! In 40 minutes I can do one from scratch at home. Horrible experience.

Great location in the hearth of London just off Oxford st. Lovely, easy and warm atmosphere. Fresh food, well cocked, and very helpful and quick service. Great job done from the manager to get the place running this way. Well done guys.

Friendly atmosphere with attentive staff. We both had the garden breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. We noticed other breakfasts also looked appealing… for example the French toast… maybe next time. Quirky set up for the toilets, you get your steps up by going down to the basement area. Reassuring to see into the kitchen area where everything looked as it should do. I noticed a previous review mentioned that kitchen staff had to pass the toilets to deliver food. This is definitely not the case… they just come straight up the stairs. We will definitely be back

What a lovely find. Our first visit which won’t be our last! We picked this for a lunch and as it was my birthday they brought us a couple of glasses of Cremant. We had already decided to pick from the Alpine menu and went for the tartifellete for sharing which was wonderful and arrived with a side platter of ham, saucisson, bread and salad. For desert we went for a couple of Expresso Martinis, it was my birthday after all. Service was impeccable with a warm and friendly ambience, would highly recommend

It’s an average spot located all around London, the food was good, I will recommend the burger and the cream caramel. One of the workers was using the toilet before me he went out and did not wash his hands, few minutes I saw him serving food to the table next to me. I was shocked.

Before anything the tables are greedily close together so it’s like you’re sat next to the table next to you. They’re also tiny. We couldn’t have a starter and a drink. Even the person who hosted us commented that the tables are small (we hadn’t said a thing) and they worked there. The food: my mum had a chicken dish and I had a vegan burger. The food came up and my burger and chips were cold. So I asked them to please be reheated. They returned cold. Before I’d stated it wasn’t the most appealing looking dish but by now plenty of time had passed and I’d lost my appetite so I sent it back. We realised that the kitchen is a weather spoons style submarine ride down a narrow flight of stairs and the people bringing the food have to wait for the people using the bathrooms to pass. Which was why my food likely got cold (my mum’s didn’t). Now the staff did waive my meal (rightly so) and our drinks (2 teas) and did offer to make something else, but I was so put off. That was decent. However they kept saying “we have a large party in tonight” and blaming it on that. If a large party books a private room in a restaurant, the restaurant know plenty of time in advance. This isn’t an acceptable reason for cold and unappealing food. Poor, wouldn’t recommend nor will I use a Cote again.

The food was good. There are some decent vegetarian dishes. The staff were efficient. Ultimately it's a chain restaurant in Central London at Christmas. It did the job.

I went with my mom we didnt have a booking and refused to serve us which is fine however people behind me literally went in with no booking and they had them seated !!!!! I used to go to the other branch of the restaurant this is my first time in this branch! Never coming back again super rude not respectful at all

This is the best Cote, I’ve been too. The staff are amazing. Special shout out and thanks to Fiore (the fantastic Italian manager) as well as Divya. They went OVER and beyond for my guests and I and we are beyond grateful. The Food was amazing! Service was top notch and staff were incredible. I can’t wait to return !

As part of a chain, hopes were not high....how wrong I was. The whole experience was excellent. Staff were attentive although busy. The restaurant was packed as you would expect the week before Christmas. Great buzz. Food was better than expected, my creme brulee especially good. Fit out and furnishings all pretty good. Lots of choices locally, this can be considered, two courses, two people, just over £100

I love and have been going to different Cotes for years. This is the 2nd recent time to this branch. The soufflé starter was scrambled eggs and my fish stew had no depth or much taste. Even worse were the potatoes in it that tasted old. The manager was apologetic and generous with bill so no complaints there Just very disappointed and will not return to this branch which lets Cote down

Hello, I’m one of Côte’s regular customer! I have been coming since 2021. Last night I was there with out of town guests ! I AM sad to say the service and food was AWFUL!!! I had the lamb…. It was not cooked properly! My guests food and my food were cold. The side dishes were tasteless. The waiters were not competent. I have had huge dinners there before. I haven’t gone after summer till last night. I don’t think I’ll go back there. Money is not issue if a customer is satisfied. It was very embarrassing !

Took a seat outside and waited 15 minutes until a young man came outside to clear a table didn't even acknowledge us.we asked if we could place an order to be told we not serving outside Strange as ever other restaurant had people sat outside and you had outside blankets placed on ever table. Poor service and rude at least had the curtsey to acknowledge your customers come on guys

Nice place to sit and catch up with friends!

The restaurant was insufferably noisy, to the extent that it ruined the evening. Everyone in the place had to shout. Cote's tendency to have hard noise-reflecting surfaces, such as flooring, doesn't help, but we have never been in such a terrible environment.

The cheese souffle was wonderful and the moules frite generous and juicy. The staff could not have been more welcoming and attentive, especially Angel and Enrico. And it is such a lovely location, and unbeatable value

Outstanding overall quality, customer service and cuisine.

Promised well from outside but the reality was cold food, wines out of stock and the rudest service I have had in London for a long time.

Food was very tasty, but not the most balanced meal overall. I ordered a smoked haddock and prawn pie, which was absolutely lovely, but that's all it was. It wasn't served with any side dish or veg. I added a tomato salad, thinking it would be a salad, but it was basically about 1.5 tomatoes sliced, that's it. It was very good value for the quality of food served.. The people with me had more balanced meals that came with salad or veg. I ordered the coffee and small cakes for dessert as a light bite. These were served warm and were delicious, just 3 little cakes but nicely presented and tasty. Coffee was good. Service was very slow. The place was really busy and difficult to talk to colleagues over the meal. I didn't get the chance to take photos unfortunately.

Habiamos reservado pero resultó ser en otro. El maitre muy amable nos dijo que sin problema nos daba una mesa. La sopa de cebolla estaba espectacular , y el filete con la mantequilla de hierbas estaba tambien espectacular, todo buenisimo tanto la atención como la comida y su elaboración. Volveremos seguro

They were easily able to accommodate a party of eight and make us feel well cared for. Everyone enjoyed their food from teenager to grandparent. The staff also helped us celebrate three birthdays and made each person feel so special. Thank you for a wonderful evening and experience.

My wife and I wanted a causal, inexpensive dinner and found it here. The food was delicious, and it was moderately priced. The service was excellent as well. It is located on a quaint little street, and we sat outdoors. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had a very bad experience with this cafe ! As they are not serving desserts only upon their preference! , i’ve visited them once at 3 pm , and once at 5:30 pm ! Same attitude from the employees who kept asking each others and were hesitant to offer a table for dessert serving only ! This my last time to visit them .

I love Cote as a chain all together, but this one is particularly nice. Good, positive, prompt and attentive service. I enjoy the food, it’s consistent and tasty. And price wise it just works! Very good management! :)

Very lovely restaurant, went for dinner and a private wedding shower both occasions the food and service was exceptional.

A restaurant that was three-quarters empty both inside (the area open) and mainly empty apart from one table outside. The table I requested inside was apparently booked and I was only offered a small table inside, rather than a slightly bigger one as I had my laptop and wanted to use it. So I sat outside at a table for 4 - it was chilly and even the Manager didnt care when I mentioned it After about 22 mins a party of three arrived, spent a couple of mins outside looking at the menu and when they decided they wanted to go in, they were offered the table which was apparently reserved. Bit of a farce. Service is dreadful by the senior staff

Birthday for the girlfriend 🤪 service is not the best as waited for starter for ages but they didn't charge .you get a special promotion on birthdays bubbly and cake but said cake was free but they charged

Had lunch here today. Delightful restaurant tucked way on St. Christopher’s Place. Sadly my Nicosia Salad left a lot to be desired. Mainly because the star attraction, the grilled tuna, was severely overdone. Really diminished the enjoyment and other ingredients that were otherwise quite nice. I would suggest that the kitchen and wait staff enquire of their customers as to preferred doneness and proceed accordingly. Certainly willing to give this place another chance in the future.

Meeting with a friend for lunch it was a very elegant dining experience that elevated our afternoon and felt like we truly escaped central London’s buzz. The portions sizes and flavour are balanced with exquisite skill and they had a gluten free menu where my friend was spoilt for choice expressing that it’s a rarity. Certainly wondering why I never visited before.

Surprisingly a very disappointing lunch at Cote restaurant, you can normally rely on Cote for good for you food, however not in this case. We ordered two Burgers priced at just under £17 each who is the French fries, which of the service charge they came in at around £20 per burger. Not good value in my books. Two burgers, and one water two cokes came to a total £50.

We ate here for breakfast and ordered two champagne breakfasts, which we found excellent value for money. We were disappointed, however, when the drinks arrived 5 minutes after the breakfast and even more disappointed to find that we had to pay 10% service charge despite this!

We couldn’t set, they insisted that they are only serving dinner and we were hoping to get their popular dessert the Caramel with coffee, though tables were available wasn’t full house and it was around 6:30 pm 😔 hoped service were as per costumers’ request and would understand if they told us the table can be kept for limited time but forcing us to either dinner or leave was not pleasant 😖

The cream caramel dessert is delicious. However, I received my cup of Cappuccino dirty!! The lipstick color from previous customer are still there & I think they didn’t wash the cups!!!!!

I always like to dine in Cote. Been to few cote restaurants such as one In Kingston and Sloane square. Overall, I think Cote St Christopher’s place is the best. Food wise, quality always the top notch no complaints at all. Friendly staffs with warm welcome and proactive service. Hygiene wise, toilets can be improved. It is just a bit of smells but it could place some diffuser.

Beautifully cooked and presented food from the set menu and excellent service. Pleasant seating area outside. Not hurrying fo us to finish. Perfect for a summer lunchtime.

There are definitely better Cote Brasseries. Fillet steak had seen better days and I ended up having to send it back. Eventually went for rib eye which was better. My mum who I had taken to lunch was also not enamored by her Beef Bourguignon. No flavour and rather disappointing. The waiter did try his best and was apologetic. Please do better as the brand is normally trustworthy but they let it down. 17.08.23 ADDENDUM TO REVIEW Cote have been in communication with me and taken steps to notify their General Manager and Area Manager, so that this issue is raised and training to avoid a similar situation is in place. Although the review is a fair statement of events, I do appreciate the professionalism in the follow up response.

The lady supervisor Belly was very unwelcoming
