Amazing team that always makes my visit to this place a great experience. Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and of course a very attentive waiters & the whole of the management team. Mápios- my guy from Albania is always super professional with a good communication skills and a sense of humour. Laura- super warm and welcoming. Patrick- very professional and attentive to detail. Used to visit regularly - this time food was good, service well paced and nice ambience. Manager was pleasant and welcoming - Divya the main server friendly and attentive - prices reasonable. An enjoyable 3 hours - thanks.

Visited this restaurant for my birthday yesterday and was very unimpressed. The staff were lovely but the food was awful value for the money we paid. We ordered the “Cote Breakfast” which was below average and a regretful meal out. Won’t be returning here again.

Long waiting time !!!!!!! Once ordered, I got my salad and fries after 30 minutes !!!!!!! If you are there for the caramel, then you will be fine as they serve it quickly.

Cote always offers good value when you stick to the ‘prix fixe’ menu. I have eaten here 5 or 6 times recently and although the food is consistently good, the service is not the most welcoming. The service feels like they are doing everything they need to and nothing more. There is nothing to complain about but a warmer greeting and a little more effort during service would be welcomed.

Plenty of seating. Great atmosphere. Set menu week days. Good menu. Reasonable pricing. Great service.

Service was awful. Food was awful. Because ask for my steak well done I don’t mean you should fry it to a crisp! And what is up with the salt?! And no real concern when we complained.

Such amazing service! staff were very accommodating and helpful, the bathrooms are very clean, everything was fresh and delicious. definitely recommend!

As a regular customer of this particular Cote (and I have eaten in many of them), it never fails. The Prix Fixe (£19.50 for 2 courses, £23.50 for three) is good value. The menu has changed somewhat since my last visit and is interesting. Regular staples like whitebait, steak frites are still there. Portions are generous and the coffee is good. Will be there again next week!

We visited this restaurant on Mother’s Day for a quick lunch. There were four of us plus a toddler, and while the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, the atmosphere inside felt quite dull—there was no music or energy to make the experience more enjoyable. We ordered from both the regular menu and the set menu. The starters were average at best, but the main courses were a real disappointment considering the prices. I ordered the fillet steak, which cost £33, and it arrived with only a few fries and a sprinkle of parsley on the side—definitely not worth the price. I had also ordered a side of broccoli, but the portion was so small that even the manager was surprised and offered us another one free of charge. To make matters worse, I never received my peppercorn sauce, and since no one came to check on our meals, I didn’t get the chance to ask for it. The service was quite slow; we waited a long time for both our main courses and desserts. Overall, the food was below average, and for the prices they charge, I expected much better. It was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t rush back.

Took a dear friend and her husband for a meal. She lives abroad and has seen each other after 22 years. The food was excellent, but server tried to give us food that belonged to another table, and came across quite moody. Don't know what got into his bonnet that day! We still enjoyed everything else, and just laughed the whole situation off.

We always go here when we want to taste a good stake in a great location. Very good service too, I recommend.

Time and again the staff has gone above and beyond to accommodate us and treat us like family! Cote—and this location, in particular—is a fave amongst our friends and colleagues!💗

Great venue, food and staff - I’ve been before and will visit again

I always recommend this restaurant to friends and usually visit about twice a year. Everything is spot on and the atmosphere is great. However, my last visit (Sat 1st March) didn't quite live up to usual expectations. Prices were quite noticibly higher and whereas the place is usually zinging with atmosphere, this time it was a bit flat and only about two thirds full. Maybe a reflection on the prices? The lady who was front of house - I presume she was the manager deserves the highest praise. It’s not often these days when you go out to eat that you get exemplary service and she stood out as going above and beyond. She was very warm and friendly on our arrival, made me a drink that wasn’t on the menu and checked it was to my liking - made entertaining conversation and was very thoughtful and attentive to our needs throughout the whole time we were there. I eat at Cote often in a few different locations but have never come across such great service as she gave us. We didn’t catch her name sadly but I think she will know who we mean. We were two ladies having a late lunch sitting at the back of the restaurant. The service was slick and speedy and the food delicious. Thank you.

disappointing experience! The service was very poor, as the coffee and cake were brought before the table was cleaned from the previous customers’ leftovers. There should have been attention to cleanliness and setting the table before serving the order. Unfortunately, the staff were not attentive to details, making the experience uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place unless the service level is improved.

An OK experience. Some servers were happy to be there and others not, so the service was inconsistent. The curried mussels were excellent but the rib-eye steak had too much fat and grissle. Def not worth 5 stars for the money.

The extensive menu is great. Good for vegetarians. I can recommend the warm baked beetroot and the mushroom cassoulet. The portions were well made, nicely served and not too big. The atmosphere could be better. A bit noisy diner like hall.

Rude Staff and Unnecessary Rules – Avoid This Côte Branch I have always been a fan of Côte Brasserie, but my experience at this particular branch near Oxford Street has been consistently disappointing due to poor service. The waitstaff tend to overcomplicate simple requests with unnecessary explanations, making the dining experience frustrating rather than enjoyable. Despite the restaurant often being empty, they insist on a reservation, which seems excessive. On one occasion, I was refused crème caramel simply because it was not served before 12 PM—an unnecessary and rigid rule. Another time, I was denied entry just to have a quick coffee outside because I didn’t have a booking. The waiter repeated the policy in an unfriendly manner, showing zero flexibility or customer service skills. This kind of behavior is particularly noticeable towards Arab customers, something I haven’t experienced in other branches of Côte. Given the repeated poor treatment, I won’t be returning to this location, despite my appreciation for the brand. It seems they are relying too much on their prime location rather than offering good service.

It was a good service and promptly. My only point down is that the tables are too squashed up. Too many of them, other than that everything was ok.

Nice place , Good Atmosphere and Brilliant staff but Food let the whole experience down a bit for me as I was the only vegetarian in my group . Other friends of mine with Meat options were happy with their food but I ordered Mushroom beans and it was pathetic and Food got very delayed , for which they gracefully took the price of one person down from the Total Bill . As I was vegetarian that day because I was going to my temple later , but I would like to go and try the Meat option again as the place looks nice and staff was very attentive.

Standards have severely dropped here. Two Managers gone within a short period as well as staff. Owners need to upskill and ensure staff are fully trained. Also pay decent salaries to those who are trying hard to maintain former standards.

It is poorly handled and its food is not worth its price. I do not recommend trying it

Booked a pre Christmas dinner here with friends. Table for 6 in the window. Very pleasant. Xmas menu was very good and wines to accompany were also good. Excellent place to meet friends not far from the hubub of Oxford St. and very convenient if you want to see the Xmas lights.

Mal servicio, el personal no estaba interesado cuando dijimos que no estábamos contentos con la comida, teníamos Salmón Bernaise y Poulet Breton trozo muy pequeño de Salmón un par de tallos de Brócoli para verduras y una cantidad exigua de salsa en el plato, el pollo era bueno, sustituimos por papas fritas triples cocidas que en realidad eran papas fritas que obviamente no funcionan muy bien triple cocido que es si incluso lo estaban, no estaba ocupado, pero el servicio y el interés del personal era pobre!

I recently booked a New Year’s celebration at St. Christopher’s Place, expecting a festive and leisurely evening similar to the one we enjoyed last year in Covent Garden. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated. Our reservation was for 10 p.m., and we were looking forward to enjoy a relaxed celebration. However, we were rushed through our meal in an unexpected manner. All four courses were brought to our table within the span of an hour, and by 11 p.m., the staff turned the lights on, signaling the end of our dining experience. This felt abrupt and completely out of sync with the atmosphere we were hoping for. To make matters worse, my dessert was served with cinnamon—an ingredient I’m allergic to—which wasn’t listed on the menu. This oversight was concerning. As the evening progressed, we felt hurried out of the venue, with drinks left unfinished and the celebration effectively cut short. While I understand the staff might wanted to also celebrate, offering a meal at 10 p.m. should have come with the expectation that guests would be able to stay up until the New Year. Very disappointing!

Nice place but always crowded and during peak time they serve Lunch only not desserts and coffee or light food.

Tuvimos un sabroso almuerzo en Cote. Solo compartimos un entrante, tabla de charcutería y remolacha y ambos eran muy buenos. El servicio era rápido y educado, era muy ocupado, obviamente popular entre las familias, amigos y parejas. La calidad de la comida era muy buena, el menú era variado con precios razonables para la zona. Cote es una gran franquicia, pero es agradable ver que la calidad y el servicio está a un buen nivel aquí.

The taste of the cream is caramel.. Why is it good and the potatoes are not good at all...and the delay in taking the order..

The place is spacious and lively We ordered French toast with a white chocolate, bad in taste and burnt. The worst French toast I have ever tasted 0/10. It is clear from the picture that it is burnt. We told the Twitter and Hosters and they told us that this is how they serve it burnt, but in the pictures they publish it does not appear burnt at all. The coffee latte is excellent 8/10 Benedict egg with spinach The sauce is cream cheese. I did not like the Benedict. The sauce is supposed to be Dutch, not this thick, sticky sauce. 4/10 Scrambled eggs The taste is okay 6/1, but the presentation is bad. The appearance is not beautiful, as if he is saying, “I am ugly because I was made hastily and without care.”

Was taken to our table which was in the middle of a walkway. Staff member made apology for table explaining it will better once Christmas over. I was offered an alternative table when I was about to leave. Food as always was really good, let down my the poor service. Drinks arrived after starters, had to ask for cutlery and no plates given to eat starters. Overall not the best experience.

Very busy yesterday evening as expected but service was as good as usual. Food not quite up to the usual standard. First time at this branch and such a long convoluted walk to the toilets I might not come back!

Despite being very busy the staff were reasonably attentive and fast. There were times though when we wondered if we’d be able to place our orders in. The cheese soufflé, steak tartare and fish were delicious. It was nice having a birthday dessert and sing song for the birthday girl.

I normally get the breakfast here but it was okay for somewhere to pop your head into and get a late lunch meal. I've had much better (and bigger) salmon though so that was a little disappointing. The staff and the setting were great though.

A very quick visit for a coffee to escape the insanity of a busy Saturday on the surrounding streets. This was like a little sanctuary, super friendly service, coffee came quickly and was excellent and the outdoor heated seating under the Christmas decorations of St Christopher's square added a really nice ambiance. Thank you for the temporary visit to normality.

It is known to the Arabs for its distinctive creme caramel.

Excellent breakfast and service! I was there with my one year old daughter, and the waitresses were so friendly and accommodating. The kids menu is great and the baby changing room is also very clean and spacious.

Great table service. But …. The steak frites was overdone with the food server stating ‘that’s the way it comes’ despite a medium cook being requested, a sauce presented with a skin on top and cold broccoli steams on two dishes. Not sure it was worth the money.

A lovely place to dine and the food was great. The coffees were great too but we found there was a slight misunderstanding when the coffee came. I asked for vanilla syrup in my latte but it didn't come. The waitress said it had already been added into the coffee but I couldn't taste it at all. My sister asked for her iced coffee with milk on the side but it came already added into the coffee. Otherwise, everything else was fine. Everything was delicious.

Ellos acomodaron a mi madre muy bien y el servicio fue excelente. Mención especial a Patrick que cuidó de nosotros. ¡Era fantástico!

I chose Cote in St Christopher's Place as a mid point location for me and a friend to meet for brunch but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food - we had a full English breakfast and a vegan breakfast. The service too was terrible even though the restaurant barely had any occupided tables. Neither of us will go there again which is a shame as we both like other Cote locations.

Rude reception service, and rarely any waiters outside. We had to go inside at the end to ask for our bill and lady at reception who also waitered had a temper . Food came in wrong order too and was not something special.. We probably had higher expectations.

It's a shame every time I come to them, I want coffee, and they tell me to spend it so they won't make us sit. Okay, so tell them, our order is only meals instead of going around.

So disappointing, love this restaurant but 2 days in a row I went in for desserts and drinks (as I love their dessert). Asked to sit outside and they said no. The 3rd time I went I took out my family for dinner and wanted to sit outside and still they said no. Each time it’s the same excuse “we are understaffed” when they’re were plenty of them. The other excuse is “we won’t be able to give you good service”. Very disappointing and rude. Sometimes I want to go there on my lunch break and want to have a peaceful time outside and clear my head before I head back to work. Instead of sitting inside in the loud environment. Will not be going back as it’s happened more than twice, such a shame because it was my go to.

We ordered Sunday roast with chicken on Sunday. Unfortunately, we got food poisoning in the evening. I am so sorry that I experienced something like this during my limited trip to London. It took all our energy. My boyfriend got sick first from the chicken. I got sick 3 hours after that. We threw up all night and it turned into diarrhea. Unfortunately, the chicken needs to be checked urgently. Please take this message into consideration.

Kamil, Kasia and team surpass in customer service. The team are so attentive and the food and drinks are always lovely. We were spoilt with complimentary drinks for my birthday (I received an email for this as I signed up for the Cote newsletter) and also received a yummy brownie with ice cream with happy birthday on it! How very lovely! Thank you Kamil, Kasia and team! We love coming here and it’s our favourite Cote. We cannot wait to return. 10/10 for the hardworking team!! They are an absolute asset to Cote!

This is our favourite Cote, Kamil (general manager), Kasia (front of house manager) and team all work so hard and are customer focused. Yesterday we visited to celebrate my birthday. Warmly welcomed by Kasia and shown to the table I’d requested online. We were given complimentary drinks (I’d received an email as I signed up for the Cote newsletter which I recommend doing) by Kamil (thank you again). We had the Prix Fixe menu which is great value for money. Between us we had the Salad au Bacon, Poulet Grille with optional upgrade of triple cooked chips, Kamil explained and apologised that as a supplier had let them down they could offer my friend pan fried salmon instead of mackerel which my friend had and we shared a chocolate mousse! All were delicious. I was further spoilt by a brownie, ice cream and candle on a dish saying happy birthday! Thank you it as do lovely. The team here are an absolute asset to Cote! Thanks again to Kamil, Kasia and the staff here, we cannot wait to return next year!

I have been coming here for years. The food is always excellent. The staff attentive and efficient. BUT, they still do not have WiFi. - it's been many months. Not good enough, considering every other restaurant and store in this location provides it. Otherwise I would have given 5*.

It was a very bad experience today from the staff. We came to the restaurant for dessert and coffee and were asked to go and come back after one hour as the restaurant was serving dinner. After waiting for one hour outside the restaurant, we came back and the manager told us in an aggressive manner that they are not serving dessert and refused to admit us inside the restaurant without expressing any apology to us. He said so although we told him that we were told to come back in an hour. Such behavior is not expected from a well known restaurant caring about the customers satisfaction. I am a frequent customer for this restaurant but this time I had to write this comment for the attention.

The branch is very bad, especially in terms of receiving guests, especially from Ms. Kasha, she is very rude and has bad manners. She let us wait for a long time she was pretending that she talking on the phone and just ignored us

Amazing food amazing service. Not my favourite Cote of London in terma of decor (The ones at Soho, Sloane Square, Marylebone and Mayfair are the most impressive) but still a beautiful atomosphere. The food delicious and great value as always!

We always eat here in the St Christopher's Place Cote Brasserie when in London. We have enjoyed over the years, breakfasts, lunches and dinners here. Without exception each visit has been made special by the team here. When we (as this time), take friends here they are completely won over and return too! We always love trying out the seasonal cocktails which are always made beautifully and a perfect start to our meal. The wine list is comprehensive with prices to suit all budgets. The service we had by Patrick was outstanding, he guided us through the specials menu and also the main one too. His advice was appreciated and we all chose well, and enjoyed delicious meals, some had starters, all had main dishes and some had dessert with coffee, one person had the cheese board which had a fantastic range of cheeses all served at peak condition. Servings were generous and beautifully presented, Patrick made sure we were happy with each course and ensure our glasses were replenished discretely and ensured there was fresh water on our table when we had nearly come to the end of the carafe. This was a special occasion as we had not met our friends in London for a while and Patrick was perfect in making our lunch special and memorable. He is an absolute credit to Cote and we hope to see him again on our next visit. Thank you for all the team and we look forward to trying the Autumn/Winter menu on our next trip. Jill & Warren

Delicious beans on the breakfast plates

This is an excellent restaurant and provides very good food and service in an interesting area. We had a window seat and were attended to by a delightful waitress but I am afraid I have mislaid her name. She made sure that everything we needed was attended to. We will be back!

My go to place to eat when in London food is so tasty & we'll presented. Would fully recommend!

A discovery and we confirm that the Côte is worth the detour for the quality of the menu but also the welcome and the service.

The portions are very small and the service, although friendly, was not great. We had to ask several times for water, chase drinks and even getting cutlery. Nowhere near as good as local Cote restaurants

Came here to celebrate my bday with a friend and I am so glad I did. The food so absolutely delicious. So flavourful. I highly recommend the Tomato Soup as a starter and the Poulet Frite as a main [both from the Prix Fixe Menu]. The mushroom sauce that comes with it the chicken was so yummy. Last but not least, the Crepe Cerise, which is so rich. The waiters were attentive to our need and conversed with us when needed. They had great humour too. I would definitely come back.

Cote is one of the better chains with decent French food and excellent wine. This branch is in a fun upmarket location. Excellent service. Relaxed atmosphere. On a balmy evening we were able to sit outside. Very good steak frites. The fixed menu is particularly good value.
