Good quality food, excellent service

Refused me a drink because I forgot to ask for one with my order. Man said “why didn’t you ask me earlier” and was so rude.

I recently visited Washington machines outside the Chip shop and was quite disappointed by what I witnessed. While waiting outside, I saw a staff members taking a smoke break right outside the building. What concerned me most was that they were wearing their kitchen aprons and uniforms during this activity. This is not only off-putting but also breaches basic hygiene regulations. Wearing kitchen attire while smoking and outside the kitchen area is simply unacceptable, as it raises concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the food being prepared. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this issue and ensures a higher standard of hygiene in the future. Until then, I'm hesitant to buy from here!

The food was to a high standard. All the staff were very friendly. We tried a deep fried Mars bar and it was excellent.

So DISHONEST! Every Tuesday, there is always chicken promotion - 9 pieces for £9.99, and each time the server will ask whether it is ok they switch some of the pieces to chicken strips which is smaller. In other words, they will still charge me £9.99 for 5 fried chicken and 4 small chicken strips. They will come up with all the excuse like it will take longer to cook the fried chicken.. we need to wait longer blah blah. Same excuses every week. They even charge £10 instead of £9.99 as displayed.

The food is good. The service was fast and the vibe is good I order a chicken royal meal portion was good .

I went here with my family and it was awful! They ask if you want salt and pepper I said yes they did not give me any! No place to sit! Messy baguette and dry chicken 🍗 !! DO NOT RECOMMEND

My wife and I went to the Sherman Theatre last night to see - Odyssey ‘84 (very good). When we came out at 10:30pm we were starving and were looking for a good fish & chip supper. I checked on Google Maps and found Clifton Fish Bar about 10 mins away in the car, so we went there. Turned out to be a great decision. I got a very warm welcome, all the staff were lovely - with some good banter too! Our fish was cooked fresh and my wife and I honestly thought it was the best fish & chips we’d had for years. Not recommended at all. This is the worst subway I have ever seen. Just order a sandwich through Uber eats, payed £19.09 at first ,got £11 refund after reporting it to Uber eats. this is what I chose on Uber eats app and this is what I got. There was no cheese, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no cucumber, no pickles, even no sauce inside the sandwich. Absolutely disappointed. Do not go to this subway.
