Slamburger in Cardiff

I recently had the chance to try Slam Burger, and I have to say — it definitely lived up to the hype. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked to your preference. The menu has a nice variety, from classic beef burgers to creative options with spicy sauces and crispy onion rings. What stood out most was the freshness of the ingredients — the buns were soft and slightly toasted, the lettuce and tomatoes were crisp, and the cheese melted just right. I also tried the loaded fries, which were a solid side choice — crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and fast, and the overall vibe of the place was welcoming, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes, and the quality definitely made it worth it. If you’re a burger lover, Slam Burger is worth a visit — it hits that perfect balance between comfort food and quality.

I have pre-ordered the food to arrive at 18:30, but it arrived at 20:00!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my Slamburger Order! The sides box was brilliant and let me try a lot of their options for a good price. The fries that came with my burger were delicious and still warm when they arrived. I particularly loved the Algerian Sauce packet. My burger tasted fresh and hearty. 10/10 from me :)

The delivery person did not knock, and listed it as delivered

We ordered food for iftar 1 hour 30 minutes ago. We notified the restaurant this is for our iftar. Our food came half an hour after iftar. They aso forgot our childrens food. When we received our food the burgers were wrong and the chips were cold and hard.the man from the restaurant phoned me to say they forgot my childrens meal and told me to contact the driver through just eat app but we couldnt as this was not possible, the restaurant should sort our there mistake instead asking the customer to chase the driver!! I have ordered food from this place before serveral times and its not been such an issue but i have noticed the service has really gone down. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again!

I went with Raj and Naim Bhai. Naim said it’s not good if you are single.. come with your wife then we will enjoy more. Raj always wanted to get married. Please pray for Raj.

The order was never delivered and it was marked as delivered. After reporting it on the just eat app I contacted slam burger only to be told to contact just eat, it’s a just eat delivery driver and he has been a problem. I said can’t you just send out more food and the guy said no as he doesn’t have a driver to send it out. The worse thing is it was for my kids, they were all starving. I then had to make another order with McDonalds instead leaving me well out of pocket for 3 chicken burger meal

I’m so sad. After a long day of work I ordered food as a treat and it took more than an hour and a half to arrive and when it did it was cold :( so sad

My kids love it, every time we come to Cardiff we always go for slamburger, eat in or take out boys in there are very friendly and efficient. 👍👍👍👍👍

Food was fine, delivery driver went the opposite way for 10-15min and arrived with a passenger. Picking up a friend instead of making your job the priority ofc results in cold food for the customer. Unlikely we will order again.

Nice food but chips & mozzarella sticks stone cold why can’t they wrap them in foil like the burgers

placed order at 16.24pm. food delivered at 18.00pm and it was cold !

I placed an order at 19.17 and it arrives 21.05! Not the drivers fault but surely if your company is advertising food through just eat you should make sure you have a driver! When I rung your store you’re blaming the just eat driver before you accept the order you should make sure you have drivers available! When the food arrived it was cold too!

My delivery didn't turn up but was showing as delivered. Called slamburger who were no help. I have had to contact just eat regarding this and will have to wait a couple of days for an email response let alone a refund!!!

Burgers were good, so the buffalo's wing They are kind to kids and also give them colouring papers and balloons.

when I had the chicken wings that I ordered I felt as if the chicken was not cooked long enough as it was quite chewy ( the main part of the chicken) and it made it harder for my teeth to chew compared to the other times I ordered it in the past.

It's been 5 days I discovered this gem Absolutely loved their classic burger and fully loaded Mexican fries .staff is good specially Roohul good service. Definitely recommend for good quality burgers.

Bad the food was delivered cold not worth it for £8.99 the Big Slam Meal and the chips taste like there reheated the chips are hard and the big slam Berger is small.

Got a fish burger it was that over cooked and bad and rock solid and I got it for my kid I was a regular customer every week not anymore but the smash burger was nice

Came here with high expectations from the reading slam burger, however I was very disappointed with my whole experience. Hygiene in that place was horrific, all the tables were dirty one part or the other, toilets were messy. I got served fries that stank miserably.

Chips was hard cold and like rubber , felt like they re warmed and went cold . Over spice of chilli to so couldn't eat even if was cooked right . Burger was over cooked and very small .

Normally burger places tend to be late. But this place wasn't, it was also really good value and tasted really nice. Would recommend to anyone.

Poor service, was waiting for food for well over 15 mins when all I ordered was one meal, the buzzer they give you does not work. When I went up to the counter my food was just left there! The prices are exorbitant and they charge you an additional fee of £2.50 to sit in 😂😂

Place needs a clean, people just sat in there not buying anything just playing music. Waited 30 mins for a burger and fries, staff not bothered just on the phone. Yeah wouldn't go back.

I love slam burger it is my friends uncles shop and would go always there as a first choice.

Was not bad at the start. I ordered few times through just eat. But gradually every thing went down hill. Prices went up, no more free delivery if ordered above certain amount, quality of food went down and customer service on the phone became a joke too. Once they cancelled my order from the shop end despite me waiting for a quite a while. I gave them benefit of doubt and ordered from some where else that day. Final disappointment came when my order delivered to me 3 hours after placing order. I tried to cancel through app but I could not. I called the shop few times to cancel it as it was ridiculously getting late but slam burger refused to cancel from their end and told me every time to contact just eat. The guys on the phone were also a bit rude too. Finally my order arrived after 3 hours and it was complete let down, the fries were completely cold and tasted like a left over food, the burgers were also cold. I threw them all in the bin at the end. I do not recommend this place especially for delivery.

Screw burger King and McDonald's this place beats them both no kidding! Fresh ingredients bread so fresh and tasty and chicken grilled to perfection🤩 my son thought the same with his burger and chips trust me people check this place out !
