Had chicken from here on Friday myself and my daughter have been really unwell all weekend as the chicken was pink and like rubber I feel like this was done on purpose as I left a note for the shop when I ordered to say please can you make sure the chicken is not over cooked and stale as that is what they presented me with months prior to this order on Friday I would strongly suggest that nobody eats from here or even complains about anything I have also reported them to food standards agency as you cannot get away with doing this to others especially when it comes to chicken highly avoid these at all costs!!!

Ketchup is halal over all amazing

My arthritis ridden dad works faster than the workers here, ordered 30 minutes ahead, came in to collect but the till worker wasn’t feeling it or something and took forever to serve people- waited 15 minutes but apparently my food still wasn’t ready. Thank god I choose the cash option, I wasn’t going to wait any longer for these fools and bailed.

Just got home to my security camera alert. One of your employees littered in my garden at 12:20pm. He threw a leaflet in my garden. I'm assuming he was trying to promote business, but just chucked the flyer over the fence to float away in the wind. He could of just left a pile in our communal letterboxes, but chose littering instead. I have video footage of this. Please don't do it again or I'll be forced to contact the police.

Food poisoning confirmed by hospital. Be very careful. Severe abdominal pains and diarrhea. Put review on just eat but was removed. There seems to be others complaining. Loyal customers but since new management their service has gone down hill. We are very disappointed and no apology. I urged anyone to come forward with suspected food poisoning and report.

Good selection of food and day out. Though it was a bit quiet. I enjoyed my lunch.

Extremely disappointed and angry at wasting £20 on my order with chicken shack. Everything tasted like yesterday’s food or had been there all day dry. Wings were completely luminescent pink. Burgers went down like cement and the fried chicken was revoltingly soggy. Only thing that was a positive was the pot of sauce it came with

Bad customer service ordered over the phone and altogether our food price came to £25 and the chips were not cooked properly the chips needed to be cooked a bit more and it was also cold not worth it for the price they charge

Absolutely appalling service. Order was late (estimated 22:35-22:55) and I called up to check, guy on the phone sounded like he couldn't be bothered saying that they were closed now and told me that it was coming. Half an hour later there is no response, so I used the Just Eat app to find out what was happening. Someone from the restaurant called up saying that it had been delivered, however I had not received any message to have been told to go outside and collect it. So not only did the delivery driver not tell me that he was there, he gave it to someone else. The person on the phone did not help at all and just told me to go talk to Just Eat. I'm just shocked at how not bothered they were to fix a mistake on their end. Disgraceful.

Very well mannered staff...very nice food...fast service...prices are very reasonable too n they are so clean...I haven't seen a take'away that bizzy n that clean in Wales before...the young lad working at the front...hassaan...made me a full peri-peri chicken n it was cooked perfectly n it tasted next level...I give these guys a all round 10-out of-10...i will most definitely b ordering from here again...

We always get our peri peri chicken from here! It’s always delicious, falls off the bone and the chips are the best in Cardiff!

The food is nice (apart from rice, as it just seems to bland for my liking..again personal opinion) however I have only given 3 stars as they just take forever in this place and it seems they always give top priority to takeaways. Would be nice to actually meet and greet customers who are willing to collect food from a far distance.

An hour and 10minutes of wait time. Had to aid the driver in finding my location thats on a common busy high street for another 10minutes. Contacted them out of frustration and they cut the line on me. Great customer service.

Good honest food at the right price

We had a take away from here. The wings are nice tasty and cooked fresh. The peri peri chicken was good but not the best. They did not take long to prepare these. One important thing the whole chicken and half chicken did not come with any salad or sauces. It would be great to have salad with chicken. Otherwise a good take away.

Waste of time waited over 3hrs for delivery never came and my friend couldn't get his money back BEWARE

Amazing succulent fried chicken and wings and their burgers and wraps are the best in town! Peri peri taste is amazing 😍 You can choose your own heat level from mild to hot😊 chips are nice and crispy too, can’t fault this place at all! Service is fabulous, food is served quickly and is always fresh and hot! Great team working here, Thanks to Sayaam and Maj for serving us, very polite and friendly. Will defo be back soon. 10/10 for the food quality and service 😋☺️👍🏼

The spicy Wings from chicken shacj peri Peri is possibly one of the best in Cardiff but the service can be quite slow specially if you have a large order. I'm not entirely sure how the place is run as I've only been there once

Can be quite slow when ordering some random items, like the whole chicken but other than that is yummy and always hot.

Every time I try my favourite spicy chicken wings at Chicken Shack Peri Peri I'm always happy with what I'm served. The staff are always friendly and I get served really quickly, so no complaints with the service. The wings themselves are nice and spicy and always succulent, all-in-all Chicken Shack Peri Peri are worth the 5 star rating I've given them.

Very nice food and good service

I hate to do such a low review but everytime it's a 2 and 1/2 hour wait and the fries are soggy as hell. Went in store once and the food was delicious if they had those standards all the time this place would be a hit

One of the best chicken shops in my areas

When in Cardiff, I'm lost without a Chicken Shack meal which happens to be weekly now & I can say in total it's been months. I've had chicken from all over but nothing tastes better than this place. I know it's a small place & many of you don't venture into this place of Cardiff - I'm telling you - it's time to do so. I usually go for the offers which is a full grilled peri peri chicken (HOT) + peri salt chips + drinks etc. It's a great deal & keeps all the fam fed & happy on a Saturday night. It's not all about the chicken either, I've had their quarter & half pounder burgers with cheese - has to be cheese - simply delicious. Well cooked & a nice flavour. Rarely do you get the consistency with outlets like this hence why I'm there at least once a week. Order online using the Chicken Shack app where u get discount. How can you fault this? Top all time favourite places for me!!

La comida es de buena calidad y sus propias recetas de pollo son únicas. Nunca se vuelve aburrido ya que hay muchos platos diferentes disponibles en el menú. El propietario es muy amable con un servicio al cliente razonable. Recomendaría este restaurante / para llevar!

Ordered a takeaway from this place,Delivery on Time, lovely peri peri lemon and lime 🍗 Highly recommended

Food was over 1hr later rang up to find out where it was staff was rude and said the customer is never happy rang back and had to cancel the order and told them I will never oder from them again service is completely unacceptable and if they carry on with their service and speaking to customers with a bad manor they should be shut down

Pido de este lugar porque su comida es sabrosa pero el servicio es horrible. Mientras escribo esta reseña, ha pasado una hora y media desde que ordené mi comida un miércoles por la noche después de que me informaran que duraría 45 minutos. Me dijeron hace 5 minutos hace media hora. Si en realidad conseguimos algo de comida queda por ver. Si necesita su comida de manera oportuna, no ordene desde aquí.

Rude customer service, ordered a big delivery and gave no breast chicken when requested when they assured me that they will give it. Aldo no coleslaw came. Phone the shop the man on the phone can’t even speak English properly told me to go and collect it. Very very rude no manners blamed me for lying. Did not even say sorry. Will never use this place ever again. TOTALLY RUBBISH and ILLITERATE.

Good food but basic chicken shop Self explanatory really

Terrible customer service over the phone ! I was told to “hang up because I have customers” as if I wasn’t a customer , just wanted to place an order for pick up and was forced to order in the shop as they did not want to take orders over the phone , went to a different place instead. Disappointing.

Great food & service! Definitely recommended - i am very fussy about fried chicken as mostly eat a lot of vegetarian food, but myself and my partner had managed to burn our dinner so decided to order out - the reviews were some of the best in cardiff so thought we'd give it a go as we love peri chicken from nandos -we had a Variety mix deal - 1/2 peri peri grilled chicken, 6 pieces fried chicken, chicken wings, peri fillet burger, peri fillet wrap, 3 chips and coleslaw (yes we were very hungry) - and i can tell you amazingly we ate the whole thing as it was so dam delicious! The burger was awesome - it is a fillet breast of chicken grilled with peri spice, fresh soft bread bun, red onion, cucumber, tomato & mayo (almost blasphemy but it is actually better than nandos burgers), the fried chicken was crisp, hot, moist with a very very nice lightly spiced non-greasy batter. We have now ordered from there 3 times and have been very happy each time! Finally somewhere consistent! Yay! We are even ordering tonight.....dribbles......

Their chicken stip burgers are amazing

Lovely food they have choice of fried chicken and grill chicken. Loving the grill chicken prices really good 2 👌🏾
