The best restaurants in Cardiff South Wales

Probably the most hygienic cafe I’ve ever visited!. Very white, very fresh and VERY clean. The warm husband-and-wife couple who run this petite venue are very friendly and like to get to know their regular customers. Most customers seem to be buying well-packaged, quality fresh food to take away, although there are a few chairs and tables if one decides to sit in (the sandwich chiller is a tad noisy but not so much of a racket that one has to leave - or where earplugs!). Although this is an easy-to-miss venue, nestling in a area full of apartments and offices, it does seem to be popular among local office workers etc (Mizzi opens at 7 am). And, well, what a surprise! Mizzi has an excellent hygiene rating from the councils health FSA inspector.

Great customer service. Staff are very friendly and helpful in helping you decide what drink you might prefer. The prices are quite reasonable for the quantity given and there are soo many flavours to choose from. Orders are completed very quickly and to the best of their ability. I always come here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Have eaten here a fee times and the food is always freshly cooked, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

This place is a real gem in the city centre. There’s a wide array of spices, germs and teas- so many it was hard to choose what to get. The lady who served me was very smiley and helpful so will definitely come back when next in the city.

Maravilloso pollo al curry y arroz en este agradable puesto en Cardiff Market. Comer en es un poco apretado al lado del puesto, pero vale la pena! A recomendar.

I visited here for the first time this week for lunch and is was absolutely wonderful. We had a warm welcome and the food was delicious. There were plenty of veggie options and the prices were really reasonable. Will definitely be back soon and will be spreading the word around my office of this place. Thank you!

Mi esposa vio el letrero del café y, como los dos estábamos hambrientos, llamamos. Cuando estaba entrando vi una "cálida bienvenida" en el letrero afuera y eso es exactamente lo que obtuvimos. Mi esposa pidió un sándwich de tocino y yo un gran desayuno. Le pregunté si hacían pan frito y la encantadora y amigable dama dijo que podía hacerme algo. ¡Excelente! ¡Un desayuno no es un desayuno sin pan frito! Poco después, nuestros tés llegaron en tazas limpias con platillos, jarras similares y un plato para bolsitas de té. El té estaba muy caliente. Las tocino eran buenas y mi esposa las disfrutó. Mi desayuno llegó muy caliente y con pan frito. ¡Hombre feliz! El personal era amable y servicial. Los precios son excelentes. Nuestra comida y bebida era menos de 10. Buen valor y agradable. ¡Gracias a quienes nos sirvieron!

Excelente ubicación, decoración encantadora, personal amable, enorme carta de vinos! Qué más se puede pedir. Tiene una sensación relajada muy acogedora. No comimos, pero sin duda volveremos a probar el plato de queso!

Popped in for lunch with a friend for the first time today . Great varied selection from the set menu- chose the onion soup and whitebait for first course and minute steak and pork sandwich for mains . All of the food was delicious , obviously home made and clearly made to order - and very reasonably priced . All staff were very friendly and attentive . Would highly recommend Moura and plan to go back on one of the wine tasting nights we heard about . Really impressed by this friendly little restaurant- do give it a try .

Me and my friend visit the Healthy Hangout regularly for lunch, the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and clean, and the food is always great. Very generous portions and you can tell it’s all been made in house. I really like having somewhere near the office that sells healthy balanced meals! I’ve attached some photos of previous lunches as I love the variety of the weekly menu :)

Yummiest cake evaaaaaaa and lavender milk what is this taste of heaven?!!! Staff are lovely, attentive, warm and friendly. Lush vibe, very chilled. Great outdoor area too. Decent menu, very tasty, healthy bowls of colourful goodness. Breads fresh and gorgeous too. Great portions. Thank you ladies 🥰
