Excellent coffee and delicious cakes served by cheerful and helpful staff. A perfect start to our visit to Castell Coch.

Had a lovely afternoon coffee and cake in this delightful cafe set inside historic Castell Coch. Very friendly and good service to match the food and beautiful setting.

Surprisingly good food for a cafe in a tourist attraction. Service was great! Quite an array of baked goods are available as well as savory choices.

Visited today around 2pm with my partner and 6 month old daughter and was wildly impressed. The cafe itself is so cosily decorated and has such a lovely atmosphere. The luxury hot chocolate was just stunning and the food was so much nicer than expected. We each had a panini and finished off with a slice of cake and a mini egg brownie and could have eaten each one again! Absolutely everything was home made and wonderfully Welsh. Everything was so reasonably priced and I can actually see us becoming regulars at the cafe

Absolutely lovely place, really delicious coffee, lovely cakes, and the staff were so helpful and kind, letting us sit in despite the fact they were trying to close (was tipping down outside)… thank you so much and we will make a point to spend more time next time we visit!

Very cosy coffee shop, it extremely busy when we arrived on Saturday 30th December. We were informed of a short wait for our food and drinks to be served. Our drinks and food arrived and It was worth the short wait! Our Pork & stuffing and bacon & smoked cheese panini’s were great value and very tasty, and our coffees were hot and delicious! The two staff working were very helpful and polite despite rushing around looking after customers. Very good food, great value, great staff. Highly recommend.

I work weekends at the castle & Pete & Max were working today, The kitchen is a real Victorian setting & the service was superb. Coffe was devine as per usual & the smell of Cawl was tantalising my taste buds as I finished my shift. Please be sure to finish your visit in the coffee shop - Highly recomended.

This cafe lies near the entrance but it is a little hidden from view and a 'No Entry' sign for something else adds a little to the confusion. Great see Welsh/Cymraeg in active use in the cafe. It is well presented and stocked with a good range of food on offer. No Bara Brith that day though :-) Prices are good and the service was quick with good portions. The staff were friendly and professional.

Not a huge selection but they have a tiny space so understandable, BUT they do cater for vegans! The staff were great and polite.

Quaint little cafe, good choice of sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks. Three friendly waiters. If visiting the Castell, make sure you stop here too.

What an amazing cafe!! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional here. We had a large group of people but it was not a problem at all and our whole group left feeling very satisfied.

The coffee and cakes were stunning and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend visiting, it made visiting the amazing castle even more worthwhile.
