Green Door Bakery Cyncoed in Cardiff

Wonderful service, lovely food - we had a great time at the Green Door Bakery in Cyncoed. Staff v friendly as well who accommodated my friend's birthday with a candle in her selected cake!

Best lunch spot in Cardiff. If you ever fancy a doorstop style sandwich, then this is your answer! Fresh bread with great fillings and at reasonable prices. Great coffee too!

I love this cafe. It's family run with gorgeous cakes (made by the bakery as you'd expect) and very friendly staff. In nice weather there are plenty of seats out front and also in a garden conservatory at the back. I had a delicious vegan chocolate and raspberry brownie, and the family had pasties. I noticed there's also a bowl of water and food out the front for dogs which is always a lovely touch. I noticed they also do cakes for parties/weddings etc which form the photos I've seen, look amazing.

Excellent little bakery with wonderful friendly service and fantastic food. Highly recommend the Italian deli bagel!

An ideal cafe to catch up with friends, drink coffee, eat cake and put the world to rights. Seating outside with a table or two inside. Attentive staff and good fayre.

Such friendly staff and so many fantastic cakes and baked to choose from. Sat outside and as the weather was very hot we were kindly offered sunscreen. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and valued.

Delicious coffee and pastries sitting in the sun outside this gorgeous bakery. Friends enjoyed a bacon sandwich too. Friendly service. Delightful staff, and even four legged friends are catered for with dog biscuits and water outside. Lots of folks were buying goodies to take out. Huge asset to this area. Highly recommended!

Delicious cakes and lunches and incredibly friendly staff too. Great selection of brownies, and they even cater for dogs too! A real asset to Cyncoed village, keep up the good work!

Have been visiting Green Door Bakery in Cyncoed Village since I received a recommendation from Debbie ex Moo Moo’s. The welcome is always very warm from Rhian, the proprietor, Debbie or all of their staff. The coffee is so smooth and tasty, the pastries are to die for and there is a wonderful atmosphere as soon as you enter the shop. There is one small table inside and in this lovely weather, a number now in the pavement outside. I cannot recommend this coffee shop highly enough - it is a credit to Rhian and her staff who make it so wonderful to visit. Yesterday on my last visit, there was bringing a cake she had made to celebrate someone’s 21st birthday - is there no end to her talents.

Great little local cafe/ bakery in Cyncoed village. Fab selection of coffees, cold drinks as well as a nice selection of sweet and savoury baked goodies. Staff are welcoming and its dog friendly. I pop in a few times a week when out and about on dog walks, love it… keep up the good work! 🐶☕️🧁💚
