The best restaurants serving Asian food in Cardiff South Wales

Absolutely hands down best sushi! They homemade everything on the day!

Did not receive drinks with delivery, then were given incorrect drinks on the second attempt. Wasn’t worth the hassle to ask again. Took about an hour. Suspect food was left on the side for some of that time.

Love these guys we have become regulars. They are so quick to get to us and the food is always solidly enjoyable. Thanks.

Food is pretty good but nothing special. The staff are nice enough but there was a bit of a language barrier when i asked for recommendations. I asked for the spiciest dish they had, but the waiter thought it was a joke and brought me a very mild curry. The poppadoms were nice and naan very good. The atmosphere is not bad, but apparently they have no qualms about beggars coming in and asking for a few £ The bill did not include service charge, so we left a tip, but the waiter must have thought it was too modest since he asked for another 40p

Great food and service however restaurant was cash only and this was not stated anywhere

Usually the sides come with some fresh cabbage but they didn’t this time.

Estábamos muy emocionados de probar la comida Matsudai Ramen después de escuchar grandes cosas. Debo decir que no nos quejamos al personal sobre nuestro servicio y les dimos la oportunidad de arreglar las cosas porque no creíamos que pudieran hacerlo y queríamos irnos. El servicio es amable aquí pero muy desorganizado. El personal parecía no tener un sistema para atender los pedidos de bebidas y sacar comida, por lo que el ambiente era de confusión en el bar. No creo que se tratara solo de nosotros, la pareja de al lado se quejó del tiempo que pasaron tratando de ser atendidos en el bar. Esperamos mucho tiempo por dos tazones de ramen que fueron decepcionantes: la opción vegetariana no sabía mucho, estaba llena de maíz dulce (¿tal vez porque es barato?) Y tenía alrededor de tres hongos. Es difícil ver cómo pueden justificar 12 para eso. Tuvimos algunos entrantes que eran. . . bien, pero en general fue soso y desafortunadamente no vale la pena el dinero.

Lots of choices. Quick service. Great staff. Worth the money that we spend. Love the way that they have arranges the place. Best bubble tea place.

Me and my Mum were up to watch the Six Nations - Rugby and before the match we went to Chatime for a bubble tea. Absolutely loved it, so much that we decided to come back the very nice morning and get another one. However. We got there at 10:03am it was shut. We waited another 10ish minutes and it was still shut. My Mum googled the opening times for the place and it said 10am - 8pm. We thought the lady in there was running a bit late so we sat down at Starbucks until 10:45, still shut. We did a quick shop and when we came back to check at 11:30, it was still closed. There was a worker in the shop who we had earlier seen getting the tables out but she seemed to be on the phone. Unfortunately, we couldn’t wait any little get as we had to catch the train back. Overall, the actual place was a 100/5 but I rated it 4/5 because of the confusion surrounding the opening times. Lovely workers, a really nice lady helped us decide what to get and recommended exactly what I needed. The actual drinks were gorgeous and tasted delicious. 🧋

As a Chinese person it’s difficult to find good authentic Chinese food here in Cardiff. I’ve been to this place many times and every single time I’ve been here the food has been good. I opted for their delivery service for the first time today, not only did they come earlier than scheduled, the food tastes fresh and it even came in a cute reusable 招财猫 bag :))

I'm a strict vegetarian of 20+ years. I ordered the Veggie Sweet Box and upon eating the noodles discovered what I thought was tofu was in fact chicken. I'm absolutely livid! Usually a good place but they've failed on the basics!

My friend & I ordered online & picked up the generous vegetarian set meal for two. The guy called us to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted, which was kind. We had samosas, bhajis, rice, naan bread, dhal curry, a mint dip, a salad, papadoms, a vegetable curry and aloo gobi. It was GREAT and there was loads to eat. I loved the variety and would have it again, in a blink! It was also reasonably priced. Thank you, Indigo!

Can be a bit pricey when you add some bits like shrimps or chicken etc to the noodles but it's good food.
