Noodlebox in Cardiff

Usually the sides come with some fresh cabbage but they didn’t this time.

Love noodle box but marked down as delivery driver demanded a tip - if you pay a service charge plus delivery fee why am I now being asked to top?? Annoying especially as I requested delivery at 6 but it arrived at 5.30

Food was great but could be hotter. Why do I bother with providing instructions for the delivery driver and the restaurant fail to pass them on? Fed up with having to walk up the street whilst explaining to the driver how to get to us.

The staff were very nice, the food was really fresh and tasted amazing. My gyoza dipping sauce must not have been closed properly because it spilled in the box but, no harm no foul. Prices are definitely worth the portions too.

lovely food beautifully cooked and presented. not sure why the katsu skewers don't come with katsu sauce or the satay skewers with satay sauce though. nevertheless I'd highly recommend.

Probable the worst food ive ever ordered. Frozen chicken and vegetable spring rolls that have just been warmed up.

food was good, shame there was no pak choi in my veggie soba.

The gyozas were fab 4/5 but the soup was far too salty 1/5. Delivery was on time and a friendly bloke. Just a shame I couldn’t actually taste anything but salt in the soup so didn’t eat it.

very sloppy mushy noodles with little fillings / toppings . hardly any chicken or sweetcorn and a couple of slivers of peppers which i paid for as an extra. really underwhelmed and disappointed

Delicious, tasty food, served with a smile and piping hot! Wil definitely recommend to all. And most of the menu items are halal, which is an added bonus.

Delicious! Will be ordering again. One of the few takeaways I've had that were better than expected. Love the yaki soba sauce, satay sauce was spicier than expected but still very nice, more peppers than I'd have liked (but the wife loves them). Would highly recommend!

the katsu box dod not have any curry sauce

Stopped for lunch today with a family of 5, the box I got (KT box) was absolutely delicious 😋!!! The money was totally worth the quantity and you could pack up the left overs to take with you,which was quite convenient for me. My sister got the kid friendly (ninja box that friendly staff recommended) ,it was a bit smaller than the normal box and without sauce which my sister doesn't like. Everything was delicious but lacked a bit of veggies and the rice option was a bit plain. But 👍

Stopped for lunch in the shop. The box I had was absolutely delicious. I was hesitant to come as I had been to other fast food noodle places and disliked their food. The prices are excellent for the quality and amount of food you get. I genuinely thought I had been undercharged initially. But everything is cooked fresh in the back, and the food arrives at the table piping hot. Everything was delicious and I so thoroughly enjoyed my veggie box. Of the food my worst criticism is that I would have liked some extra tofu. But that is pretty darn minor as it was so lovely and I hope to have food here again next time I'm in Cardiff. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of how dire the toilet was. The seat was covered in dried urine and it was absolutely disgusting. I dared not touch it at all. If they cleaned up the bathroom I will happily give them 5 stars.

I've ordered a few times from here and it's always been really tasty. I always order the same thing which is the teriyaki beef. Today wasn't good at all. Hardly any beef, so many noodles when I asked for low carb option. No spice and hardly any flavour. The driver parked in the middle of the road blocking people who come out of the shops and called me asking me to walk to him because that's where the sat nav had taken him. Was charged £5 delivery.

The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. The food was filling and hot. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and proactive, calling me before hand to express that they couldn't accommodate my Gluten free option at this time and happily offered me an alternative.

Excellent food, four very satisfied stomachs!

The main noddle boxes were INCREDIBLY salty - much saltier than usual - to the point where neither of us could actually eat them. It feels like a health risk because they were overly salted! The starters were nice though.

Stay away from delivery service. I'm so disappointed, this is the second time I've ordered for delivery and both times it took almost 2 hours for food to arrive. Good noodles but never again will I get delivery of them.

Defo mine and my kids fave take away. The noodle boxes are stunning and my little one loves the rice ninja box.

Noodlebox put their prices up which is to be expected as everything is going up, however, the regular boxes on my latest order were smaller boxes which made the portion size dramatically less. Very disappointed.

value for money is questionable!!! had a Udon noodle with prawns and squid, it contained exactly 3 pcs of prawns and 3 pcs of squid.....value for money at 10 per box ??????

Cold food with a salad that was onion and lettuce for two out of three boxes! Not the standard we have come to expect from NoodleBox.

Noodle Box has consistently been my 'go to' for the last 10 years.. One of the most tasteful places in Cardiff, they only use fresh stuff, cook it when ordered, and deliver it while it's still hot... what's not to love! go on, give it a go, i promise you won't regret it! :)

A long wait (as indicated when we ordered) but the food was delivered on time and was worth it! Big, bold flavours, fresh ingredients, generous portions, fabulous mango smoothie.

The food was lovely, will definitely have this again! The delivery came within the time frame they gave us(1 hour), but i think its still a long time for wait for a noodle box, especially as we were only 13 minutes away.

this won’t let me select 60 mins -it was late by over an hour. we ordered at 8.15 and were told order delayed and would be with us by 9pm - 9.20pn . we rang and asked for update text at half nine no answer . it arrived at 10pm too late to eat so had to put in fridge . not quite the point of ordering dinner

Gutted😭The order arrived an hour late, the boxes were covered in soy sauce, the food was pretty average but by this point we were so hungry we would’ve eaten anything. Not ordering from here again. Tried calling but no one answered. We had given up and even ordered food from somewhere else when it eventually arrived. Disappointed. And had two take aways to pay for.

Been ordering here for YEARS now and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. The food and prices are incredible. Quality, freshness and flavour is 10/10 and even better they have sooo many veggie options. Staff are always so lovely! My favourite noodle place in Cardiff 💚

Kt box is the blandest thing I’ve eaten from a takeaway in a while, tereyaki rice box basically the same, the sides are lovely however. The spring rolls were amazing and so were the gyoza and sweet potato cakes but the mains were really lack lustre, they also delayed our delivery. Not the best experience from noodle box

Love getting my regular noodle box! The tempura veggies are my fave! and the veggie sharing box... and the veggie sweet box....i could go on...!! Love it!

I've enjoyed the food for years and was very happy when they reopened. I leave this poor review as I waited over 2 hours for a delivery (quoted 50mins) and when I called at 1h40 I spoke to someone who told me soon as they were too busy. Not even an apology for the wait. If you're charging what you are you can afford more drivers and better customer service.

My order didn’t arrive, I contacted just eat to be told that I cannot have a refund due to the restaurant’s marking the order as delivered. Absolutely disgusted that the delivery was marked as delivered.

I've been a noodle box customer for just about 10 years... their food is consistently lovely, quick and perfect for me... I'll be back, thanks noodle box!

Lack of transparency in estimated delivery time. Time pre order stated 45 - 60 mins immediately after order changed to much lengthier 60-90 mins. Not helpful to conceal reality of wait time until order placed and paid for.

Everything brill but a small bottle of coke 2.50 is absolutely ridiculous.. I ordered it thinking it was a big bottle.
