This is a super facility and a great asset for Cardiff and wider South Wales, providing a safe space for all ages. I wish we had a facility like this in the West Midlands. I visited for the evening session on a Tuesday and it was packed with skateboarders! The park is of a good standard. I had food here too and I have to say it was very good. They have an impressive selection of old Sidewalk magazines.

I love Spit and Sawdust and it's even better now. They have extended into the adjoining warehouse to create a bigger skatepark with a new bowl and street course. The kitchen has also got bigger so the food has leveled up and they've kept the same atmosphere. It's the best skatepark I've ever been to.

Absolutely fantastic. You'd never expect a skatepark to serve food this good. Perfect for vegan options. Best Glamorgan sausages I've ever had, vegan or otherwise! Really lovely staff too :)

The most unique and exciting food and drink venue in Cardiff…and a skatepark on the side! Sit outside this warehouse and you can enjoy fresh locally sourced food, some seriously good beers and drinks, and the sight of skateboarders flying overhead on the only vert ramp in Wales.

Hermoso espacio escondido para tener una comida maravillosa, la masa de la pizza es ligera y los ingredientes cocinados a la perfección con una encantadora selección de cervezas para acompañar. Me encantó mi noche recomendada

The sausage pizza blew my spice expectations out of this skate-park. A tantalizing pizza experience that hit the apex of carbohydrates and protein to a definitive T. Would highly recommend to any aspiring Olympic athlete.

I love going to Spit and Sawdust. Our 3 and 5 year old attend the under 10s session whilst we eat locally sourced breakfast baps and enjoy proper cups of tea and coffee.

Cool space with awesome food, all fresh, organic and delicious. I had the chilli burger with the triple cooked chips. We booked our boys birthday party there too and it was a huge success.

Taking my son and his three mates to a Skate park + cafe on an industrial estate just outside cardiff- i was expecting the worst..ie the bland soul destroying experience routinely served up once a corporate monster gets its teeth into a youth culture money making opportunity.. but this place is great. Everything has a homemade feel - ie slightly battered but done with care and love. I cant comment on the how good the skating is because i am a non skating dad but my 14 year old (who skates constantly) says he loves it and there seemed to the nice inclusive atmosphere that you usually find at skate spots - with the youngsters being looked after by the bigger ones. I had burger and chips and a coffee. The burger was a proper burger, local organic beef, perfectly cooked. Chips were homemade and delicious too. The coffee was also proper. Friendly welcoming staff. 5 stars - no question.

We regularly use the skatepark for the u10’s session on a Sunday AM (awesome value at £3!) and my son wanted his 5th birthday party here. Everything was awesome from booking, communication, the set up on the day and the food! Adults and children alike had a great time, and most of the adults ordered food for themselves to eat as well! To top it off they bake the best vegan cakes so I ordered two for the party, one for the children and one to take home!! Lots of parents have commented to me since the party that they are going to start using the skatepark for lessons or the open sessions as they had such a good experience. We genuinely love it!

I've been here with my 10YO boy only a couple of times. Once he attended a friends party, and i managed to get a bit of his burger. It was just lovely. Last week, myself and a mate took our boys. This time I bought us a burger each, and the Dads has a tomahawk burger. Have to say, this is among the best burgers i've ever had. As my mate put it, it's up there with Three Brothers. Personally, i think was better. The staff are really laid back, and the place has a chilled atmosphere. It's a bit rough and ready, but this suits the style of the place. As for the skating/scooting, i couldn't say. In all honesty, my son reckons that actually skate park is not quite as good as Ramp World, the other one in Cardiff. But i'll take this over that for the food. Note that their vegan selection is probably bigger (and more popular) than the carnivorous selection. At the time, the Tomahawk Burger was £8.00 and there other standard cheeseburger (also excellent) was around a fiver.

Spit and sawdust is the friendliest little skatepark/art-space/cafe I have ever been to and it’s a completely unique environment. The staff are friendly and serve incredibly good food that’s real value for money. The skatepark itself is fun for kids and adults alike and the whole place has a creative and inclusive atmosphere. It’s a must visit!

Such a great space. Indoor skatepark is big and seemed to have a regular trickle of people in and out. The cafe area is quirky but comfy, and the hot chocolate was sooooo good. Outside there are seating areas and a half pipe, all led up to by some good graffiti walls. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great place to spend an afternoon.

As a regular visitor, I’m a big, big fan. I enjoy Got Beef, Kongs and Time & Beef.. but the cafe at spot and sawdust feels far more like homecooking. The chips are just like your mum used to make, and the fried pickles are unbelievable.. but the burgers are out of this world. With a menu that has something for everyone, it’s a must visit on Cardiff’s foodie scene. And at £5/6 for a burger, fries and a drink.. why would anyone go to the neighbouring McDonald’s?

What more would you want? We first visited this place to try skateboarding a couple of years ago and then got to meet the owners, Christian and Nia, who are genuinely awesome people. They are running the skatepark for the love of skateboarding and they cook awesome food. From burgers to pizza, you could say it's comfort food but done well. In the summer they have a wood-fired pizza oven outside and do some of the best pizzas in Cardiff (no exaggerating there). If you want something different or think you've had everything to have in Cardiff then come here and be surprised. It has a very chilled out, vintage vibe. We love it!

My son got bought a skateboard, it's been under the bed ever since. I found this place on line and thought we'd give it a go. I popped in for info without the boy (incase he wanted to go on there and then) and the lady serving was friendly and helpful. There is a hints and tips class saturday morning that i brought him too. He went straight in. The guy helping them skate was really lovely and gave him loads of help on his first time even though there were multiple abilities. He loved it. The cafe is rustic and they serve burgers and drinks. It's a cool spot for kids and Iiked it as an adult who loves the alternative scene. Safe environment to learn and dare to be different. We'll be back.

It is a travesty that more people in Cardiff don't know about this place. Whilst Grazing Shed constantly bangs out about "being the best in Wales" this hidden gem is serving up far superior burgers at half the price. The chips and homemade treats are out of this world too. Note this is note a restaurant - it's a small cafe next to a skate park - but damn the food is soooo good.

When we want to wear the kids out, we take them here. They get dusty, dirty and occasionally bruised and we get good coffee and amazing food alongside some arty things to look at and nice people to talk to. As a skateboarder myself it makes me happy to see my kids having fun on wheels and the fact that I can usually squeeze in a roll myself is the icing on the cake. This really is a hidden gem in Cardiff as others have already said...go take a look and stay for a burger!

Went for our Grandson's 8th birthday party. His friends thoroughly enjoyed both the skateboarding and the food. Adults also were very impressed with the home made burgers and chips.

Popped in for lunch with a friend for the first time today . Great varied selection from the set menu- chose the onion soup and whitebait for first course and minute steak and pork sandwich for mains . All of the food was delicious , obviously home made and clearly made to order - and very reasonably priced . All staff were very friendly and attentive . Would highly recommend Moura and plan to go back on one of the wine tasting nights we heard about . Really impressed by this friendly little restaurant- do give it a try .
