That’s the second time now that I’ve got home and items have been missed off. Last time it was a fish and now no chips. Spoilt our tea, you’re now closed and the phone number is out of order. I heard someone come back whilst I was in the queue as items had been missed off. I’ve been coming here for years but won’t come back again. Definitely gone down bank here. You’ve just lost a customer. Avoid this place.

If you like instant noodles, you know the supermarket own brand that costs 20p - and on top of this, you let them cool and congeal before you eat them, then this is possibly the place for you. If you would go one further and happily pay £6.95 (£9.20 inc warm drink from fridge) for the privilege, then this is definitely the place for you. The over-priced handful of gluey noodles, four slices of spring onion, a beansprout, and five oily knuckles of tofu was randomly named 'Tofu Pad Thai'. That's like calling a chicken nugged dumped in a plastic portion of ketchup 'Coq au vin.'I would rather have eaten my mask. Did I complain? I considered it. I'd already been back to swap my warm cold drink for another cold drink. I foolishly, stupidly ate it.No. It looked blurgh and it tasted of 'I told you so'.

Bit of a mixed bag here. It was busy and was very well organised with the chap ensuring you give any fish orders as soon as you hit the queue. The chips were very good as were the curry sauce and peas. Cod however.... Basically, when I got it home (large cod in box on it's own, with a small cod) the large cod was sat in a pool of grease on the grease proof paper. The small cod, on its own grease proof paper was fine. The small cod had been waiting in the cabinet for a few mins whereas the large one came out of the fryer, into the cabinet and right into my box. Now I'm pretty certain fried fish needs to drain/rest for a short time prior to being put into the box to prevent this. The small cod was fine. I imagine it being busy didn't help but that's not really the point, they server should know this. Overall disappointing. I'd hope that this was a one off and if I'm correct about the need to drain for a short time, I'd hope the boss has a word with his staff. Doesn't happen at Pisces. Might give it one more try but if it's busy, will likely go elsewhere.
