Bramhall Grill in Stockport

What has happened to bramhall grill. Used to be ok but last 2 times have been absolutely awful. Had burgers tonight. Worst I’ve ever had. Dripping in sauce. Soaking wet burgers. Cold chips! Honestly the worst takeaway I remember. Shame on you for such a lack of quality control. Poor telephone service as well. Won’t be going back again.

Food was outstanding, but this is not nan bread.

Bland, uninspiring, luke-warm food with ZERO customer service. Ordered food from the counter, customer service non existent and we were very polite to the staff. Whilst ordering the food the staff completely understood us, however when the food arrived it wasn't warm, the doner meat was taken directly out of the tin and not freshly cut off the spinning doner, the sauce was also minimal, not enough to have drowned an ant. I politely informed the staff that the meat wasn't warm enough nor was there enough sauce on the salad, they responded by looking at each other gormlessly then replied it had gone cold because I had opened it "really get a grip" and if I wanted more sauce it would cost me..... Not the first time I've doubted the quality of their food but it was local however next time I'd rather walk to Cheadle Hulme & back to get a walk-in takeaway. Prices are well over the top, because they have no local competition. Food is so bland, because they have no local competition. If your reading this and thinking about opening a local walk in takeaway then please do it, Bramhall will thank you for it.

I came here to get a chicken kebab and boy did they produce! The meat was thick and juicy, though I did find some hair on it which was even better!

The Chicken kebab was excellent, the Donner could do with being sliced thinner.

We were regular customers of Bramhall Grill but we won't be using them again. The food was half an hour late and that was on top of a two hour "queue"---, my God! When our meal FINALLY arrived, Bramhall Grill had got the order wrong and overcharged us by £7.00. My wife actually rang them to complain and Bramhall Grill promised to repay the difference. Unfortunately, they then proceeded to change their minds. Very disappointing. In relation to your replies to our reviews, Bramhall Grill, I have been reading several other reviews about you, here. There have been many, many complaints about the same issue ie. waiting time. However, I can't find anyone, yet, who beats our waiting time of two and a half hours---? Show me I'm wrong, somebody !?! From that standpoint alone, instead of arguing about what constitutes pitta or naan bread (BTW, if that was naan bread, you need to sue your Supplier using the Trades Description Act), shouldn't you be considering a goodwill gesture to your (previously) loyal customers? Simply because of the inexcusably long wait they've had? Bad business practices, methinks. Can you afford to be so dismissive of such people? Hhhmmm, obviously, yes!

Food quality was excellent…Top quality donner, chicken schwarma and grilled chicken kebab..a little bit late but the rang to say it was on the way. Understand it’s a busy night so no problem with being a bit late. 5 stars

OUTSTANDING... Piping Hot & Great Tasting Food

Ordered garlic bread, seasoned with salt ourselves, salt pot lid fell off, salt everywhere, food inedible, staff was very reluctant to change, tried to brush it off, literally in the bin. Asked for a new garlic bread, which we got in the end. For us they was just rude, unhelpful and unprofessional!!

My boyfriend has been Rusholme chippy since 1976. Where certain dishes are cooked in a clay oven. We are in bramhall bar and grill, lHe asked if the dish l ordered was done in clay oven. Iwe were told yes. It was not it was fried in a frying pan. The smell was greasy and made ne us feel sick. Wehad a kobeih kebab, the salad was limp and hard enough to fill a kebab. We did not like it, the mean was awful but at the least the dog enjoyed it. I would ask for my money back but the dog ate the evidence. Would not recommend it. I was so disappointed.

I got my food, sat down in the shop, dug in and then took it back to the counter, it was stone cold, I asked if they could put it in the microwave to warm it up, the staff looked at me as though I was daft, they replied," the meat is cold because your hands are cold " ??? (What a response). They eventually warmed it and I continued to tuck in, not enjoyable really, parts of the meat were still cold, the naan was as thin as a pitta and was hard, the portion was small and their sauces must last them a while as they're not very generous with those either. Think i'll give this place a miss in the future !! In response to your reply... 'WHY' would I swear when ordering food ? Surely that's a way of not getting served at all. The food should have been HOT when given to me - when I asked for it to be warmed up, I was initially ignored.

The kebab meat didn't taste fresh, the chicken was over cooked and burnt, to the point where the meat could've been anything! The nan bread was flash heated from frozen and broke apart when pulled like stale bread. The chips were dripping with oil and it just wasn't great food at all. It was the first time I've tried the take away to be fair, not a great experience, and it will be the last.

Awful service. Ordered at 6:30pm to be told 7:45pm, still waiting at 8pm so rang the grill. She lied and told me it was already on its way and would be 5 mins. Waited another 15 mins and then they texted to say 8:40pm. 2 hrs 20 mins when the grill is 5 mins away - we won’t use again.

Kebab meal deal is good value. Very nice chicken shwarma and donner. Not tried anything else, except a garlic bread with cheese. Never had any problems with service or delivery.

£12 for a medium sized mixed donner and chicken kebab on an average naan is extortionate. It was nice but it was primarily donner and the sauce distribution was lazy. For £12 I was expecting a master piece or at least significant volume. It was tasty but wouldn’t order again especially with the £3 delivery charge.

Forgot our chips when it was really really quiet. Gave us a stingy amount of sauce. Charged premium prices. I don't feel spoilt at all.

I have been to Bramhall grill many times and I still really enjoy the food there, personally I enjoy the chips with red salt on them and the Donner Kebab. I would really recommend going here if you like spicy food or even if you don't like spicy food.

Waited 1 hour 10 minutes from order being placed for the food to be delivered. Was told 25 minutes before food arrived it was on it's way. Food was cold...pitta soggy from salad that had been waiting around. So disappointed as we have ordered weekly & had no issues. Would like a full refund 🤬

Food was delivered late, kept getting updated to a new time and don't live long away. Used to be my favourite place for burger and chips as the chips were so crispy and fresh but this time they were super chewy. Such a shame. Seems like standards have dropped.

Absolutely ridiculous! Tried charging me £40 for a chicken burger meal and a 12" pizza. I was a regular customer not anymore. Plus the chap on the phone doesn't what's he's doing said one price then the next.

Ordered from here gets a phone call from down south asking for my name address and phone number to start with Then food comes asked for sauce hardly any on it The dinner meat was like the cheap frozen meat you get in a bag Then the chicken or chicken fat or just fat the so called chicken shawarma was pieces of fat wouldn’t give to a dog. The whole thing went in bin and now £15 down and feel sick Avoid at all costs

When a customer reads a dish includes salad and when the customer has to pick what kind of salad they want on their naan, surely you add the salad. A very expensive (£13) piece of meat on a naan.

I was in the area and decided to try Bramhall Grill. The place looked clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. The menu offers a good choice of food from burgers and pizzas to kebabs. Their prices are higher for the area compared to other food outlets nearby. I sampled the Koubideh Kebab on Nan bread. I asked for the salads and sauces separate (nobody wants a soggy kebab) the meal came to around £13.50. To say the least, It was quite a disappointing kebab. The meat was chewy and dry like the Sahara desert. It wasn't served on a nan bread but comes on a hard stale flatbread. For the price I paid, the size of the kebab was pathetic. I genuinely thought they had forgotten to pack the rest of it because it was that small. The salad was decent, and that’s the only good thing I can say about this one. If Bramhall Grill decides to read and take any feedback, let it be this - Ask the red-headed girl to wear a cap! While I was in your shop this evening, she was constantly combing her hair. I witnessed several strands of hair come off.

Delivery should be at my home, not Infront flats

Paid extra for added cheese and bacon £1 each on multiple burgers so £4 all together. Didn’t check the food after I collected it was only when I got home I realised all the added paid for extras were missing along with salad and sauce. Beside that food was decent.

This place is pretty expensive for what you get.nearly 8 quid for some donner and a few chips. The quality of the food is disappointing. The donner isn’t very tasty, gritty in parts, and the shawarma is chewy, sloppy and gristly.

Negative reviews here are miles off - mixed kebab would feed four people, their delivery is rapid and the meat is lovely and tender. Spot on for a kebab

Disgusting Cold snd stale Uber and restaurant useless

Sadly we were very disappointed with our order tonight. Chicken burger was nothing like the menu description. Chicken kebab was literally just chicken and pitta no salad no sauce. Chicken shawarma was awful..dry and lacking any real flavour. Sadly we won't be ordering again.

We ordered two chicken and Donner kebabs with Chilli Sauce. Not sure why we didn’t get any salad with them as per the menu which was very disappointing. Not the first time the orders has been missing items or slightly wrong.

Worst and most expensive takeaway in the uk And they have just put there prices up by 20% !! I have eaten there twice now and the first time I had a burger and the bread was rock hard I threw it away and now just had a naan bread kebab and it was not naan but a frozen flat bread and it was as hard as a digestive biscuit absolute rip off !! Go somewhere else if your hungry .

We were so happy that a 'Burger and Pizza' take away has opened in Bramhall. Throughout Covid working as a nurse they gave a discount to all NHS staff which was much appreciated after long shifts being able to stop off and grab a weekend treat for the family on the way home and have a discount as a thankyou. The staff are all really friendly and the food is amazing.... my 4 and 7 year old love the garlic bread which looks like a Pizza! Food is always cooked well and orders are always correct to my picky kids demands (I think they must only stock Sweetcorn relish for them on burgers!) Would recommend anyone to go!

£37 for a medium pizza, kebab and curly fries. Totally different price to menu as they've now added '20%' VAT, rubbish, so you've never claimed back vat until the 1st July??? Even with 20%, how can you justify £37! and it wasn't the best. We could have had a sit down meal somewhere for less! You've definitely lost our custom.

Went there this Sunday, a couple of days ago, first time at this place but from what I saw it has the worst customer service ever. I made an order for 2 kebabs but had to wait inside for over 45 mins !!!! Staff were smoking outside at the rear even though I was waiting for my order. When I got the food it was like charcoal, completely a waste of money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TAKEAWAY

Food arrived late and cold…..phoned the restaurant to discuss and owner said i would receive a phone call back …..nothing, no apology no feedback etc. Poor service and feedback aside i can honestly advise that well seasoned (salt and up half the night gagging for water is the best way i can describe my warmed by microwave disappointment). Rant aside not sure what was the most disappointing the food or the neglect by the management to even address the situation either way wont ever go again. I don’t often review and usually give most places /bad experiences a chance for various reasons but not this place ……poor poor poor !!!!!

Absolutely shocking! Went and ordered take away which we get quite often but this time in restaurant they were so rude and I have asked them for some extra chilli peppers that she confirmed and said it’s part of the salad which I don’t need to pay extra. But r o get home and find the tiniest one pepper and find my donor kebab swimming in chilli sauce to try to call with no answer so I have messaged their page on instagram to get a response over a week later and as u can see in the photo I have attached the worst response u would ever get! Not even being apologetic about it. What a joke
