Chips were awful, pies were dry and inedible. I threw most of it out. Seniors used to be the go to but I won’t order from them again

always great food from Seniors. sadly they brought the wrong curry sauce - fruity/sweet - not the spicy I ordered, so that's potentially 2 people had the wrong order, and I didn't realise until I poured it all over my chips, but mistakes happen, and it wouldn't stop me ordering again.

i Think The Chips Were Left Over's From Dinnertime & they had more scrap's in the chips than proper ones. ( Ps: This Has Happen Twice Now With My Deliverly ) I Want Be Ordering Food Again.

Conseguí el trato de comida que era 4 salchichas 2 patatas fritas grandes y 2 lados grandes todo lo anterior no estaba bien los 2 lados grandes estaban menos de la mitad llenos las salchichas sabían a líquido de lavado y las patatas fritas eran medio malas y ojos negros en un montón de ellos, terminó tirando todo. Muy decepcionado con las personas mayores han estado usándolas por un tiempo, podría tener que encontrar otro lugar ahora.

Querido yo, iba a conseguir una cena de pescado con patatas fritas, pero la bondad - que puede permitirse el pescado a £ 8. 95 fichas abd a £ 3. 50 ? ! ! Ridículo. Terminé con solo papas fritas - que estaban empapadas y basura, así que las puse en el contenedor. Lo siento, pero qué desperdicio de dinero. Nunca más.

Food was nice but forgot diet coke which was.part of meal deal. Rang poulton shop. They said.it would be normoss who delivered. Rang normoss. Young lad.answered phone and kept telling me they were busy I.explained they'd missed.off the diet coke and was told the driver would bring it back whenever he could. Fair enough but we've just spent 25 quid with you so.at least offer a friendly tone and sound like you enjoy your job rather than telling a customer your busy!!!

The fish was very small for the price , the batter was soft and greasy . I have poured half a cup of oil from the tray that will last me ages for lubricating the bike chain . chips hard, peas liquid format . this came from bispham not Normoss

No sé si se puso un filete de bacalao congelado en la freidora, lo único que diré es que aún estaba translúcido y no cocinado adecuadamente, la masa estaba empapada pero al menos los gatos lo disfrutaron. La próxima vez me quedaré con Lilleys a tomar el té porque no soy muy fan del sushi.

I have never been so enraged in my life nearly £20.00 and they forgot all of our sauces we asked for vinegar and salt on all but one order the one order we wanted without vinegar just salt had vinegar and no salt ! The other two had no vinegar or salt ? How can you get this so wrong ? The chips were cold the gosh had hardly any batter on the only thing we’ve enjoyed was our cans of pop that came with the meal ! I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’m so angry and it’s too cold and windy to go back to the shop to complain cause there is a storm. We were really looking forward to this I’m so mad ! What a waste of £20 we will never go to a seniors ever again

Acabo de recibir el trato de la comida de salchichas gigantes. Increíble calidad y cantidad, alimentado a una familia de cuatro por £ 3. 25 cada uno, entregado a nuestra puerta. Muy recomendable. Entregado a tiempo también.

i would of liked the fish not on top of the chips the cooking oil was not drained and soaked in on the chips do them apart next time please

No estoy contento porque mi mayor estaba allí y los peces fritos esperando a mi hijo la comida estaba aquí, lo envié más tarde, así que estaba comiendo comida fría.

Fish was black on the bottom and the tray where fish was in were soaked in oil like it have not been drained properly. I got this delivered to my mum and dad for their tea in Normoss.

No he estado aquí durante siglos, pero quería un almuerzo picante en un día desagradable tan pop-in. Tenía un mini eglefino y patatas fritas con guisantes, pan y mantequilla y un té. No está mal para £ 8 el pescado estaba bien, pero las patatas fritas estaban frías y obviamente se habían dejado en pie durante un tiempo. No volveré.

Food arrived noticed immediately we had no gravy or curry told driver who said he couldn’t help to call the restaurant which we did they said would send immediately waited 15 minutes by which point all food was cold and went in the bin wasted 31 on two large fish and one chips no apology

Great fish and chips in the restaurant . nice and hot… hadn’t long to wait. Really good Value for £16 for 2 of us. Marred by the fact that when we gave a £20 .. the assistant casually asked us if we’d like the change!! We’re in our 70’s and thought that was a bit much. We gave a tip… but not 20%!!

The food was really poor quality. The fish was overcooked and the chips were pale, undercooked and sweaty. They were inedible. Also no salt and vinegar on anything which was specifically requested in the notes.

£9 almost for cheesy chips and gravy !!!! Day light robbery if you ask me I couldn’t believe it. Although the lads working at lunch time were a good bunch of young lads I couldn’t help but notice the older manager being very demanding to the lads, I felt like telling him to shut up the way he spoke to them. Wasn’t good to see, deffo won’t be back.

Dry chicken burger got told if you want mayo it’s 50p for a bit on the burger £4 for a frozen looking burger other chip shops in area £3.50 for burger cheese and salad and mayo and the quality of the burger is way better

normally order from cherrytree rd seniors, the fish batter was extra crispy, ordered two tubs of curry sauce, recieved both tubs with I kid you not a dessert spoon and a bit of sauce, for the price I will not be ordering from here again.

This is a good place quick service Tuesday if your a senior it's a bit cheaper chippy Tuesday as down by locals

Got charged £20.75 for 2 fish 1 chips and1 peas, scandalous, it appears, the staff automatically give you LARGE portions without your knowledge, you should ask your customers if they wish to go large, it's always been pricey, but they've just got too greedy, maybe train your staff the right way round, normal portions unless stated otherwise,

1st and last time here. Went for the £8 deal where you get a mini fish, regular chips and a large side. Great deal apart from the the portion being far too big on the chips and they were under cooked. Disappointed to say the least, your one job is to cook chips. I was really looking forward to these. But the straw that broke the camels back; NO pickled eggs. Devastated is an understatement.

I have always been a big fan of seniors and my favourite shop has always been Normoss . I have had many takeaways and also eaten in the restaurant many times over the years and always been happy . On wed 5/6/24 I took my friend for lunch and we both had a mini meal , The fish was good as we asked for it lightly battered but the chips were terrible they were chewy had not been peeled properly and we’re going black at the ends they definitely were not fresh and shouldn’t have even been put on the plate .i am hoping that this is a blip and when my friend brings her family next month for her birthday tea it will be back to its best .

Ordered 2 lots of large fish and chips with salt and vinegar to share and none of us could taste the vinegar, a real let down and was too far/late to go back. Because of this, it also felt really overpriced. Have had better in the past but not been for a couple of years.

Well up to the usual high Standard of Seniors. We were able to park a few yards along the street at the side of the shop, which was good for our friend who has limited mobility. Staff were all very cheerful, friendly and helpful. Heartily recommended.

No updates, waited in total an hour even though I live a 5/10 minute drive.

Seniors food is normally delicious, but on this occasion the chips were a little bit hard like partially uncooked and the sausage just tasted different than normal couldn’t but my finger on what was wrong.

I ordered 2 meat potato pies yesterday the potatoes were hard my friend said the same could not chew it very disappointed the chips were hard too only good thing about it was the hot gravy and the nice person that delivered it

We’re usually regulars at Poulton but went to Normoss as we were passing. Glad we did! Excellent food, served as requested and speedily. Thanks also to Emma who is the exemplar of great customer service.

Become a regular Thursday night dinner. Have a pie deal of the menu which is very reasonable. Great chips and curry sauce, although pies are not my favourite brand still ok. Staff are very friendly and offer great service. Although having a chippy tea is not cheap now it is well worth it at seniors

This is the original shop of the family run Seniors chain, we've been using it for 20 odd years and their service and quality are consistently excellent. I can't think of anywhere better, anywhere in the country. Their other local shops I've frequented are equally good.

Overpriced half cooked pile of potato mush made worse by the cheap watery condiment they are trying to pass off as vinegar... Save your money... Eat somewhere else

Visited in January. Party of ten. Friendly staff. Waitress was great. Well organised. Polite. Food was delicious.

The food was cold there were more bad chips than good chips in the portions. The fish was greasy and no cod was available

This is our closest and local Seniors and after ordering food from here tonight. We will not be using Seniors again. We're not sure what happened to Seniors because it used to be good and the last couple times have been a real let down. Especially tonight. Chips were cold, soggy and clearly NOT cooked long enough. The fish was swimming in grease making the batter soft and inedible. Peas were cold. The only good thing I can say about this delivery was that they at least had cold cans of coke and the lady who delivered it was very polite. Other than that...disappointing. So won't be using Seniors again unless something drastic happens to make the food better. What a waste of money as at least 80% of it went straight in the bin.

I stand by it, Seniors is one of the finest places for fish and chips in the entire Fylde area. The menu is varied, the food is delectable (especially the fish combo), the portions are very generous and the waiting time is minimal. The service at the Normoss branch is nothing short of sublime, I would particularly recognise Emma for her larger than life personality and her professional and assiduous attitude. I'm a repeat customer and I can say without doubt, I've never once had a bad experience at this branch (nor any other I've visited). Will certainly keep coming to Seniors and I highly recommend to both residents and visitors.

Fish was dry and stood a long time. Pea's like a dry ball not seemed fresh. Meal luke warm. Not upto usual Seniors standards.

Got a fish on a barm super fresh fish and barm lovely light and crispy batter and the guys in there are awesome will definitely be visiting again when passing threw the area

Fish had been lying in the warming cabinet for a long time , l did notice the fish fryer say something to the trainee and l assume he was telling him to get rid of that particular piece of fish (my assumption was realised when l got home and unwrapped our meal) that piece of fish was hard and inedible. Have used Lytham,Poulton andNormoss regularly at least once a week and l regret to inform your standards have drastically dropped,which ,is a shame. Maintaining excellence is.difficult, It is not only us that are now going elsewhere ,we are aware of numerous others.

As a couple we have eaten at Seniors for many years, even before it was Seniors. To be fair we don’t every week but still consider ourselves local loyal customers. We were quite taken aback this evening at the cost, the price has appeared to increase significantly to our expectations. No meal deals on regular fish chips peas etc as we feel sure they have always done. They do one deal to be fair it is a very small fish with small chips.. something I remember they used to offer pensioners at lunchtime. Regarding the fish it was good , but not very big , the chips were small portioned. They do advertise unlimited refills of tea and chips ? I cannot imagine what customer is being targeted with this offer but it does not appeal to us, we feel we have overpaid for what we have eaten to accommodate this eat as many chips as you can offer… we ate at 6:30pm…prime time and we’re at one point sat on our own , there was a time when the restaurant was a busy place. Unfortunately we will eat elsewhere on the experience we have had.
