Been in Bispham for two years and was told about Chatties by my plumber. His words "not the best area but the fish and chips are great" - my words "the best fish and chips takeaway I have had in two years" I cannot recommend this chippy enough and will certainly be back.

THE best chippy in Lancashire, food is amazing (try the chicken burger!) and the service is always top notch.

the food here is the best for a chippy on the entire coast of blackpool bar none. the only downside for this establishment and it in my eyes it is quite a serious issue that needs to be thought about before you go here is that the owner is a fan of liverpool f.c.! everyone has there faults, i no this, but this is quite a serious issue with me! 👊🤣

Had a beautiful fish and chips. Very large portions at a good price and very tasty. Clean shop with friendly staff. Only slight disappointment is some chips stick to the box and I dont like the Curry(not shops fault) it is overall one of the best fish and chips I've had

We are 'hooked'...Been to Hassan's lovely Chippy many times. Chatties goes the extra mile. They know what being a local business requires. Product, service, quality, price...and the all-important smile and warm welcome. Hassan and assistant know many who come in, by their first name. In the many times we have been for our medium Haddock and small chips, to feed us both, we have found the portion sizes very generous, and I've seen myself how he batters fish, one clue, he uses zero flour. Importantly, we have NEVER found a single bone in any of the fish we have had...He also has his own way to check for pin bones... :) Superb food, best by far by a country mile...Even worth a day out to Fleetwood to taste his superb TRADITIONAL offering.

Has great reviews and big portions. Unfortunately we seem to have caught them on an off day. Chips were dry as was the fish which was dry and overcooked. Hopefully just a bad day.

Simply the BEST Chippy around for miles

Visited yesterday 11.11.23 after recommendation, and we were blown away. Yes, it's easy to use explitives, however, at Chatties, they are so well deserved. Hassan runs a quality business that takes pride in what they do, in serving the community, and of course, build a value led business. We had a medium haddock and chips between us, which was more than enough, together with our Farmhouse Loaf bread for our chip butties. Generous portions of quality, served with a friendly welcome and smile. If that's what you seek. Make a bee-line to Chatties Chipply. Best wishes to all. Tony and Carolyn :)

Always come here when in the area for a fantastic fish and chips served by friendly staff. One of the best chippies in the country IMHO.

Hey Guys, came in on Wednesday for our tea, what a super friendly shop, i told you I had come from another town to try your fish and chips as I had heard they were fabulous!! They were not a disappointment, the fish was amazing, and plenty of it, it was huge and cooked to perfection, the chips were lovely and thick and the please actually tasted like peas.. The only down side was there was not enough of the amazing homemade tarter sauce....( only joking) see you soon guys and thankyou for an amazing chippy tea...

Highly Recommended: As a solo traveller and passing through I decided to visit here based on a review from a self employed person who travels a lot. A good review will always come from a traveller and not local people who clearly haven't lived. A quality chip shop must have some taste to it before you bury it in condiments so I had some plain, some with salt n Vinegar and some with ketchup. At time of writing this I've had about 30 chips from various areas of the country and Ive only had 5 excellent chips this year Including this one whilst the others have been ok to poor to absolutely awful. Nicely cooked and tasty. PLEASE NOTE two weeks previously I had chips at Maggie's in Hastings which has been voted as a top chip shop which I read in an online article and although Maggie's chips were excellent Chatties Chippy was actually better in my opinion. It was also nice to chat with the lads and I will go out of my way to visit again in the future.

I’ve called in here a couple of times recenty - 1st time just for chips which excellent: massive portion for £2.50 piping hot, crispy & dry not soggy & greasy. Visited again for lunch today & the chips were just as good. I only ordered a £1.90 small portion today as I ordered a £6.00 medium haddock - fried to order whilst I waited. The batter was just the right thickness & nicely crispy. The fish itself tasted great & was very well cooked - served piping hot. The size of the fish was large & with hindsight, a small fish would have been sufficient at lunch time. An excellent find & I’ll definitely be calling again when I’m nearby at lunchtime. 2 guys in the shop who I guess are the owners - both very friendly & personable.

This is a great friendly chippy which serves large portions. The fish are excellent, the best in Fleetwood. It gets very busy so ring them to order save queuing in the shop.

As a self-employed person, I'm always travelling to different locations, and I have tried loads of different chippies. Chatties Chippy is by far the best one that I have . The portions are massive, and it tastes amazing.

Closing times seem to vary according to staff whims. Arrived at 7.45, was abruptly told "we are closed" even though people were waiting for orders. No reason given for early closure. The member of staff thst spoke to me was rude. Unimpressed with attitudes. Outside metal grating makes the place look like a bombed-out dosshouse. Not a place or venue that I would return to.

Nice chips and fish. Got a medium size that was plentiful. Fish was large and chips a plenty. Chips were crispy on the outside with a fluffy centre. Fish was very tasty with a good crispy batter. Only problem was to much grease.

I've been coming here now for several months now and have to say this is without a doubt the best Chip Shop me and my family have visited. The service is exceptional from Hasan and the team, always warm and friendly as well as remembering our order. Food is cooked fresh upon arrival, and the quality is exceptional. Portion sizes are great. I wouldn't go anywhere else now that I've found them. Hasan has recommended I try Thai which I will be doing on Monday evening.

We've been going there for several months now, having been recommended. I have to say, the quality of the food is by far the best I've had, and the service from Hasan and the team is exceptional. Always make you feel welcome, and after a couple of visits, they remember your order. Always very welcoming. Food is freshly cooked perfectly, portion sizes are on the larger scale. Shop is always fairly busy which shows quality and popularity. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Perfect Fish & Chip shop. A quick trip to Blackpool to see the (now almost non existent) lights followed by a run up to Fleetwood for fish and chips before heading home has been a regular even for years. This year the fish and chips were from Chatties and they were superb - lovely fresh fish (cod and haddock) expertly battered and fried, together with lovely crispy golden brown chips and home made tartare sauce - we could eat it all over again right now! Quick cheerful and friendly service with very keen prices - what more could you want. Thank you so much!

Visited yesterday for the Crewe match and after previous disappointing experiences in Fleetwood we tried Chatties. Excellent fish and chips served by a very personable and friendly owner. Will definitely visit again next year (if we manage to stay in the league!)

The Thai food is consistently excellent. I phoned in the order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. Ten minutes later I collected it. Great food and great service.

The fish is super fresh and the large ones are huge. Chips are always fresh spuds and cooked to perfection. The fish are served in cardboard boxes which stops them sweating, sticking and falling apart. Really friendly staff and it can get very busy at popular times but that is proof of the quality by how long locals are prepared to wait. Keep it up gang!

I saw a bad review on here and want to say to Martha "what a load of rubbish" just because you made a mistake when you ordered, doesn't give you the right to abuse the staff or try to rubbish their business. This is by far the best chippy around and the staff are really friendly. Small fish and chips are the size of regular at most other places too and really fresh and tasty every time I have been.

I was introduced to Chatties by my cousin who gets takeaways every week, and now so do I !! The owner and his brother are always so friendly, polite and make you feel like a valued customer - excellent service. The food, of course, is delicious. I have introduced several friends to Chatties and now they're all regulars too. Cannot recommend Chatties highly enough.

Pre ordered fish and chips and we arrived just as it was being cooked. Oh my, the fish. We ordered regular size and I've never seen a fish so big, it was huge and perfectly cooked. Really light, crispy batter and delicious flaky fish. Highly recommended. Staff are lovely and work tirelessly for local charities.
