Eastham Express in Wirral

Their website says they're open until after midnight Thursday morning. I went before 11pm on Wednesday evening just to find the website tells a lie - it was shut. Don't trust the times on their website.

First time using eastham express definitely be back best takeaway had in ages. Food exceptional and friendly staff

I used to order a special burger from here circa 2003 and it was other worldly. But these days it’s a £17 minimum order on just eat (who they kidding 😂) it’s a slumdog kebab house. In summary- food average (special burger above average) but order from someone with realistic sights.

So they delivered to my house without me ordering, refused to accept the fact I hadn't ordered and basically forced me to take it. Turned up 2 hours later kicking off, screaming and shouting about how I've stolen food from them and how I must give it back so they can deliver it. So.. I probably wouldn't order from them because you're food has probably been sat in someone else's kitchen for 2 hours before it actually arrives to your house. Also they will charge you for the food they have given you and left at your house that doesn't belong to you. Wouldn't recommend for health and safety, food hygiene or if you're looking for a pleasant experience.

Absolutely dreadful food, ordered 3 pizzas, garlic bread & chips. Was all like warm, bland, flavourless overpriced poor quality food. Rung to complain & the manager was extremely rude. Would avoid at all costs, much nicer & reasonably priced places around.

Best Kebab House in South Wirral, get the mixed special kebab, it’ll make your Betty Swollocks tingle. 10/10, we go every other week without fail.

Last night I ordered a very tasty double pepperoni and double cheese pizza with a cheese and mushroom folded garlic bread with onion rings and a tub of coleslaw, it was delivered on time and i thoroughly enjoyed it, very juicy and fresh it was that nice i couldn't stop eating it I'll definitely be ordering it again very soon. Thanks Eastham express totally loved it

I wanted something with chips so ordered Chicken Goujon wrap as chips were included according to the menu. Not happy I didn't get the chips, this may have been because it was late on & the person who took the order got confused. Will have to double check the details if we (ever) go back.

Ordered here Friday night, the order was completely wrong and were both violently sick. Although the food came fast I assume its due to everything being on low heat including the sauce. RANK. #prayforthesewers

What a shame...... used to get pizza from here and it would be tasty, hot and good value for money..... well not any more....... like warm and very soggy and not great all round..... not value for money that's for sure..... had to reheat the soggy chips to be edible........ delivery guy was pleasant enough

£7.20 for a "large" donor that had been sat in an oven for god knows how long on a Tuesday evening. Given the wrong order initially, chicken that had been sat in the same oven . Lazy sods. Oil had soaked through the pitta bread . £1.30 for can of coke. Absolutely disgusting. Don't go here. Oh definitely you. What's the rectangular silver box with a lid that folds down ,contains multiple wrapped boxes. Checked payment .. 7.20 kebab. 8.50 charged ,so can 1.30. Just serve fresh food!!

The food quality was very poor. Ordered a meat feast pizza, a mixed kebab and cheesy chips and gravy. The pizza tasted absolutely awful and was stone cold! The kebab was delivered deconstructed. Firstly, the whole point of ordering a takeaway was to not cook or have to make anything my self therefore was not happy for the meat, pitta, salad and sauce to be delivered completely separate to assemble myself! Secondly, the pita bread provided was also freezing. The gravy on the cheesy chips was cold, lumpy and tasted foul. All of the food ordered was completely inedible and we will never be returning. Really not impressed with the service/food quality what so ever. Jimmy

Wow, how a place can noise dive with a change of owners! Do not believe the online menu, for example a donner kebab wrap is described as large 9 - 10bl. What you get is a 6lb wrap. Hand made sourdough wrap, yah right, what you get is an off the shelf normal wrap Kids chicken nuggets have a strange taste, I wouldn't even eat them not alone a 5-year-old And the store! Disgusting We used to use this takeaway many times, store was welcoming, food was good, how far things have changed

£23.50 When I asked for a large mixed kebab and a small Garlic bread. Asked for some pepppers, he give me Jalapeño poppers Gets home. The Kofta meat was basically a Tesco beef burger that he had reshaped. Kebab meat was oooozing with grease. Chicken was nice 😆 Giving it a 1 star because I didn’t get what I wanted plus he charged me for things i never ordered.

First time here since the new owners have taken over. We had the mixed kebab. Very nice, plenty for two. Chicken was very tender, koftas cooked to perfection.

Best kebab I ever had absolutely lovely

So disappointed. Went to Eastham Express saturday 25/7 night and ordered a 10” bbq pizza. Got home and the bottom of the pizza was black! It was so burnt the pizza was not enjoyable.

Did have an issue however the issue was rectified promptly and the food received was really nice. Will be back

I had ordered the pizza and kebab special. Kids loved it especially the rice at the bottom of the kebab. Food was pipping hot when it come. Quick delivery and lady delivery driver was lovely xx

Been a customer for years. I orderd a margarita pizza came with no tomato sauce just plane cheese. The pizza tasted like the smell of Disinfectant. Also orderd a chicken kebab witch is such a disappointment to the original chiken kebab they used to serve. Chips are like soggy cardboard. Garlic cheese bread is undercooked.

The food is really delicious and fresh. I recommend everyone to try the homemade steak burger.

I tried this place on the 10th of this month as I fancied somewhere new, everything came cold the meat doner meat cold the chips didn’t even looked cooked they where like soggy potatoes! The lettuce looked more like cabbage. I don’t know if I got them on a bad night but it was absolutely shocking.

***Avoid*** My eleven year old niece and her friends went in, asked for age and then they proceeded to flirt with her and give her free food. Disgusting.

Have been a customer for several years, and usually consistently good food, however on this occasion 16/7/20 having ordered a 10" Chicken supreme pizza with five extra toppings, it arrived without extra toppings, and with the normal filling well away from the edges, and with the pizza base soggy as if under cooked ! The french fries ordered were also soggy rather than crisp. Very disappointed. I can only assume that the owner was not on duty tonight, and that whoever prepared our order did not take much care.

I used to love this place, the food was always very tasty & well presented. We ordered from here a few weeks ago and straight away I knew it was under new management. Who wanted a chicken kebab with everything in separate containers??!! I ordered chicken kebab and the chicken came on a bed of disgusting, tasteless rice however, I decided to try it again last night and I'm afraid to say it was no better....avoid!!!!

Once upon a time I worked here and it was a decent yet ordinary takeaway. Since it's been taken over by new owners they're serving a much better and wider menu. A mistake was made on our last order but within 15 minutes they'd brought us a replacement dish. Quality food and great customer service.

Ordered mixed kabab, came with sour dough wrap (amazing), rice, chicken, diner, shish and lamb. Also got Mexican pizza, chips and shops. Salad.all so fresh, tasty, couldn't even eat half of it between two. Good value for money. Excellent.

It's huge my partner got on omg it's a beast all fresh ingredients. Well worth the money but you do need a big appetite. Staff are friendly too. Fast on delivery as we have had in the past.

The chicken and Donner wraps are amazing. They are huge. The home made chilli sauce is the tastiest around no one can beat that! The garlic bread cheese are also amazing. Nice and friendly staff and all very helpful :-)

My go to takeaway. Burger desire onion rings Donna meat 2 beef burgers cheese sweet chilli sauce and jalapenos. That Burger is what it's about. Also the jalapeno cheese bites are just amazing.

The food here is spot on. It's rare to get a bad meal from Eastham express. The owner is lovely and his delivery guy is fab. I reccomend the wraps or the special kebab. The chicken is griddled chicken breast which is awesome. The only issue I have now is with phone order and ordering online. There are various rules that apply. So... if you order online you get 10% discount but have to pay £1 for delivery and a 50p charge for paying cash or card. So in actual fact if you spend £15 You actually don't save anything. You can't pay using your card over the phone any more so online is the only option. Which is fine but with the added charges you would have to spend a lot to get the benefit. Other takeaways offer you the 10% for online ordering and free delivery. It says on the menu if you spend £20 or over on Sunday to Thursday you get a free garlic bread or a bottle of soft drink. This only applies if you ring and order over the phone. Not online. Although it does not say this anywhere. If you order over the phone and spend over £14 You get free delivery. There is no charge. The owner seems to have applied so many rules to ordering and what you can and can't have. It makes no sense to pay for delivery if you're ordering online but not if you order over the phone. It voids the discount almost. As previously mentioned the food is great. Slightly more expensive than other local takeaways but it is good food.

This is comfortably the best takeaway around, probably the best takeaway I've ever had. Recommend going for the wraps not the kebabs, kebabs come with pitta and wraps.... well they come with wraps. The jalepeno poppers are the bomb! And the chicken pakora is just wow! We've tried something from most parts of the menu now and it never disappoints.

I had my work colleagues over, about 10 girls altogether. We ordered pizzas, kebabs, chips and garlic bread. I said I'd collect the food as only live 2 minutes away. About 40 mins (lots of food) after ordering a lovely guy called Chris delivered all the food to us! Excellent food, service and price. Thanks for helping make our night special. Xx
