Staff friendly best chippy in Wallasey food amazing

Used this chippy for years but as of late delivery has been so slow and they miss items on order I don't know whether I will be ordering from this chippy again

You seriously need to look at the salt content in your curry/ gravy There is way too much in it It seriously spoils the rest of the meal

This chippy is one of the best for meals, was very disappointed with the chips with my last meal large chips and i ended up with a dozen, had to take all the brown squishy ones out spoilt the whole meal, was shocked as all is usually superb, don't know if it has changed hands, I am very hesitant to carry on using them.

I hate writing bad reviews but the order didn’t arrive for ages and y’know when the food is really poor and there has been no care or love or regard for you in the preparation that was it ..I felt unwell later after I’d eaten the meal and felt the £30 I’d spent had been a waste of money

Absolutely disgused, ordered fish and chips, opened the batter and there was small piece of hard fish half the size of the batter. the fish appeared yo be old. Will never support them.

Fish was unedible! Fish was chewy and hard. First and last time, very disappointed.

Just had a mixed grill besides the sausage I cudnt tell what meat was in it..everythin was burnt to a cinder.normally a very good chip shop

I got a Chicken Fried Rice and a Special Fried Rice the chicken was completely different on both meals the Special had like pressed chicken I had gotten food poisoning from the chicken and was Very ill for 2 weeks I will never use this place again

We order from this place all the time. My husband ordered char Sui chow mien tonight. It was horrific. It tasted burnt. I told him to call them. He was met with a bad attitude as usual. She said “that’s how we do it, if you don’t like, don’t order” we won’t be! Ever again. That was not chow mien, it was burnt. I will be posting a picture of the carton it came in.

satisfied for our service, slightly pricey meals but was ready to collect on arrival and portion size was ok, person on the phone was polite also, would recommend their salt and pepper dishes

Don't do it, beansprouts came in gravy and crispy beef was way overcooked, was very unhelpful when I complained and did nothing for me

I wish I read the review special fried rice....I certainly would not call it special absolutely disgusting swimming with oil chips Look warm never would I recommend this place and I wish they would read there own review because clearly they haven’t. What I would say is the delivery lad was very polite. And the best I can say about that place may be get him to do the cooking can’t do any worse.

I just stood for an hour in the cold waiting for my order. I do appreciate this place is good and busy. Being new to the area we was looking to find our new local chippy. Safe to say I won’t be back they told me half hour wait which is fine I was patient and waited. 45 mins past I asked nicely about my order and was just told ok I’ll check 60 mins I went home miserable to an angry missus instead

Been going for chips for about 2 years for a quick snack like the chips nice and well done. Ya I know only chips but thy taste nice for a snack.

Definitely the last time I order from here keep giving it another chance but the food is smovered in salt the fried rice. The curry. The gravy. The veg in black bean will be up all night drinking water vile

5:50p for oily fried rice and mushrooms . They also mixed egg in it ,i had to separate the egg whilst i boiled and fried more mushrooms . Used a good sieve to Make rice drop into pan ,made gravy and mixed the both sets of mushrooms with rice then add my own gravy . Just saying what a waste of money that was because not enough mushrooms i paid for ,horrible oily rice . Last time I'll ever go there again .

Will we ever go there again ,oily fried rice was horrible ,about three chopped mushrooms thrown in ,also mixed egg and none of us likes oily riced messy egg . Sieve to filter out egg ,cooked fresh mushrooms ,made tasteful gravy at home . That place you should avoid ,expensive as well . It works out cheaper if we jump in car ,go Duke street chippy even though its further away .

So it was my first time ordering from this chippy after I had people tell me how nice the food was unfortunately I ordered chips with curry sauce and it looked as if it had been microwaved a few times as the curry was solid rang the chippy up for the man to tell me the curry had evaporated in the heat, they can resend it out or I can collect, and if I collect it, it would not be solid unfortunately I couldn't collect as I can't leave my grandad on his own, the chicken curry and rice was ok not the best but also not the worst, the portion of chips however was not fresh, the only nice thing I received was the small sausage, won't order again. Delivery driver was really nice, received the replacement of curry and chips and it was alot better than the first one, definitely didn't "evaporate" with the heat.

Ok chippy, food is good but bit bland and portions are smallish for my liking. Got salt and pepper chips not that much flavour but their curry is nice.

It's salt and pepper range is dicious, price wise, Id rather pay a little extra for nice food, the staff are friendly, diivery wise, I carnt grumble brought my tea to work for me, 5 miles away, carnt ask for more than that really.

Firstly bad attitude when I asked for chicken fried rice with no ham and asked to put spring onion in, Pulled a lot of faces at me then said there was a charge for it🤣 No ham - charge for spring onion Then to get home to disgusting pile of cold chicken on top of rice with a horrible plain fried rice Disgusting orange curry sauce that was just salty not spicy Called up to complain they said that’s how we make it you should ask if you want hot chicken 😲 Never know anything like it would never go into that dirty chippy again!

I had a special fried rice. I will be honest it was not that special. Rice was ok, but the meat just lumped on the top and was dry. I have had much better elsewhere.

I've been a lot and I've liked it the fish is fresh chips where good too and very polite

Everytime i went the fish was cooked fresh, food was always 100% cooked to my standards and I'm very fussy. They give me the confidence to try different items from their menu. The price is good too

We went here for a fish dinner last night for the first time for our tea and it will be the last the fish looked like it has been reheated and it was discussing and it has been repeating on me all night and sick today

This chippy has gone down. The chicken is over boiled and the steak was as tough as leather. The price has shot up substantially. Won t go there until they improve both on quality and price!

Ordered food for delivery. Took approximately 15 minutes to arrive. Takes nearly 10 minutes to drive to my address! Food was hot & well presented. Tasted delicious too. Definitely recommend.

They are hard to understanding me what l'm saying & second time l went again l order pie chips the pie was well dry pie did not even eat, & chips was well dry not best of chips it's went in the bin, l would not go there again never again.

Excellent menu, which includes traditional Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes (as well as the usual English dishes, for those who want something more traditional from the chippy)... service is quick, staff are friendly and helpful, food is cheap and tasty, and there's delivery service

Probably the only one we will use for a chinese take away. Not only is it convenient to walk to for us, but every time we have had chips they have been crispy and just lovely. Good portions and love the kung po dishes.

Foods nice when you eventually get it .they spend too much time serving telephone orders and ignoring the customers that actually go in there to be served. Less time worrying about phone orders more time serving over the counter that would bring customers back.

DISGRACEFUL... Argumentative staff refused to correct an order THEY got wrong unless we paid again for it. Separate occasion.. ordered delivery, 1 hour 55 mins later food turned up. Never again will I eat from this place

The meal came quick and that was the only highlight, my whole family ordered different meals. However the salt content was off the charts. After two mouthfuls the meal had to be binned, the chef if you can call him that must not taste the food or have any taste buds what so ever. The food was swimming in a lot of grease, what a waste of 30 pound I would not order from this takeaway!!!!!!!!! save your money there are so many better ones in Wallasey.

This chippy is ok, the chips are nicely cooked, the peas don't rate, the gravy is salty. There is one thing that spoils it DOES NOT DO COD FISH, which I really like.

Pie, chips mushy peas and gravy ordered. The food was pretty good without being outstanding but it did take quite a while to get served. There were a large number of people waiting for food there as well so speed is a bit of a problem.
