We’ve been going here for around 10 years and it’s always been the best. However we all got chicken kebabs and when I say it was not edible, it was horrific. The chicken was absolutely rock hard, and extremely tough. To the point where we all had to spit it out and this isn’t like us. We phoned up and they did give us our money back, but what’s going on with this place! I miss the old Pensby kebab house!

What an earth is going on with this place !!!! We have just had the worst Doner kebab ever !!!! They use to be amazing from here. Been using them for years , I can only assume changed ownership 😡 Dry, disgusting meat, asked for Garlic mayo , couldn’t find it !! Salad consisted of lettuce & onion with a bit of red cabbage, where’s the tomato , cucumber , peppers 🤷‍♀️ We live less than a 1/4 of a mile away , it was stone cold when delivered . And for this they want to charge 18.10 . The biggest waste of money for food I have ever paid !!!! Will never use again 😡😡😡😡

Ordered shish kebab and a Farmhouse pizza, the Shish looked like someone had thrown up in the box the pizza was as dry as cardboard and lacking toppings. Absolutely disgusting. Never again Pensby not kebab. NEVER AGAIN

Will never use again, ordered a. Kebab, pizza meal and bottle of coke. They were quick to deliver,. Forgot the. Bottle of coke and cookie dough icecream. Called back moments after the driver left and then took a further hour for them to deliver a bottle of Pepsi and hazelnut ice cream instead of cookie dough. Waste of space don't use because they can't read their own orders and once your moneys been taken they don't care about resolving your issue!

Dreadful food. Rude staff. The kebabs were excessively salty so the chicken was inedible. The salad was somehow tasteless. The chocolate cake was a packaged single slice that was dry like it was 3 weeks old. They gave us different drinks to what we ordered without saying anything, like what we order is interchangeable at their discretion. Hugely disappointed. We only used them as our local kebab place is closed. I rang to tell them & the guy said,"You know what I can do for you, Darlin'?".....and then hung up. Clearly not concerned with service or customer satisfaction. £33 went in the bin.

Just ordered kebabs for delivery, have to say, arrived quickly. Food was hot and delicious. Arrived with completely garlic bread to our surprise. Would well recommend this place .

Gone from the best kebab house around to one of the worst recently x don’t know what is happening there but last 3 takeaways have been awful

Food is normally fantastic but the lamb kebab was awful. Could not chew a single piece lamb as full of sinew/gristle and was cold.

Just had a delivery of lamb kebab, rice, salad & pitta bread. Lamb & rice cooked perfectly. Salad presentation was excellent extra fresh & crispy. The gentleman who took my order was patient on the phone, gentleman who delivered was very friendly. Excellent all around

Very impressed. They would have got 5 stars but they didn’t include my chilli sauce.

Pizzas were ok. Shish kebab was burnt. Kofte was tasty. Chips were greasy. Salad was fresh. Garlic bread was like cardboard. And they missed a large kebab (£10.50) and x2 dips. Overall-underwhelming for a £50 order. Won’t be back. Sorry.

Food was cold and tasteless and rock hard absolutely awful , doesn’t even come close to other places . Wouldn’t ever order from here again .

Food arrived on time. WS piping hot and ingredients were so fresh and chicken melted in the mouth from the chicken kebab wrap. Only thing was I couldn’t eat it as the marinade was so spicy hot. Lay off the hot spice guys.

The fact that it was early was better for us. The food was lovely and hot. 10/10

Well what can I say, order didn't arrive ordered 12:05am out for delivery by 12:15am called twice "yeah yeah driver on his way", no wasn't on his way you decided to cook or not cook in this case and take someone's money it's called theft not good guys not good at all.

So bad never even got it waited 2 hours and never arrived poor service and still hungry only ordered two popcorn chickens and let’s be honest it’s not hard to make DIDNT recoeva a call back either 👎👎👎👎👎

I usually eat regularly here. The food arrived freezing cold!? Even the stuff wrapped in tin foil?! The pizza cheese was rock hard it was so cold and the kebab meat was chewy and hard! Unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before from them?! What happened?!

Early isn't something you should be sorry for.. durr! The portions where not at all big, I'll order large next time/for fek sake it's dinner meat, get a grip, stop being stingy!

The food was absolutely delicious and arrived 15 min early. The meat was top quality and generous portions and the complimentary garlic bread was a lovely surprise! Delivery driver was friendly and polite. Would highly recommend Pensby Kebab House to anyone.

Chicken was pink left 6 of the work mates unavailable to work costing me company money, the cheese burger deal was like westlers they even had the cheek to give us a free pitta bread I would recommend trading with caution

Asked for no salad on burger, got a whole load of salad. Asked for coke got Pepsi. Chips where awful and the rest was just low quality food. Sorry but won't be ever ordering from here again

I’m not using again after a basic order. Wife picked up wrong. So we called the shop chicken and shish extra donner no salad as I can’t do cucumber. So they sent one box of donner meat and one box of salad with cucumber. So we called again. 3rd delivery one chicken kebab one shish kebab extra salad with cucumber. I’ve had soup and toast and a massive argument for my tea really not worth it

Just moved to the area. Second time I've had a meal delivered. Beautiful pitza and burger. Still hot when it arrives and great quality. Definitely recommend.

Delivered to another house on our road and left on their doorstep. Owners didn’t realise for half an hour then delivered to us - obviously food was cold by then.

Only kebab place I will order from. The doner meat is amazing, the pizzas are lovely. The wraps are massive and I order the small ones

Always order from here first time leaving a review, every time I order the food is always here before delivery time and always lives up to expectation no other kebab shop I’ve been to has come close to beating Pensby (chicken is top tier)

Usually the food is nice from here, but not this time. The pizza was over done and barely had any toppings on. I don’t think I order pizza again from here. Kebabs are alright but it’s a huge no for the pizza

Had a few takeaways from here over the last couple of years, and never been disappointed. They always give you a free garlic bread with cheese with every order, so don't bother adding one to your order if you want one 😬. Food is well priced and they also have a 5 star food hygiene rating, which is always appreciated!

Awful service. Never received my food. Called to ask where it was and they said it had been delivered when it clearly hadn’t. Reading other reviews, this seems like a reoccurring theme. Owner very rude on the phone. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Asked for a can of coke they give me Pepsi instead chips are freezing cold forgot to put cheese on my chips and never put hardly any source on my Donor meat .

disappointing to say the least. The 14" garlic bread was a tiny flatbread just shoved in a size 14 box and the chips portions were tiny. the only good thing was the delivery time.

The staff member used inappropriate language like "bro" and shamelessly lied about the driver being on the way. Despite my frustration, the food never reached me, and to top it off, the shop denied any responsibility for the debacle. This is completely unacceptable!

The Donner meat was all fatty, I was sent chicken strips instead of char grilled chicken and the cheesy chips were soggy

Burger was great, but the chicken kebab was some wet orange coloured chunks of flesh that tasted awful, I won't order that again.

Said out for delivery for a long time before it was delivered which meant it wasn’t hot, particularly the chips

First class service as always. Food is always fresh and well presented. Hot on arrival and priced fairly for the portion sizes you receive. 10/10

Cold and sweaty food, delivery driver and squashed the pizza box and held the food on its side which made all the juices and sauces run all over the packaging. Food tasted ok but the meat was cheap cuts and was mostly gristle.

For the first time ever, very disappointed with our food today. Pizzas arrived cold, squashed and soggy, quite obvious been at the bottom of the pile of a number of deliveries. Not the usual standard.

Terrible experience I won’t ever go here again, called to find out why it was late got a girl with terrible attitude. Then when the order was as sent incorrectly (rice and as supposed to be included but it wasn’t). She screamed down the phone at me that it wasn’t an option on her system, eventually telling me she would sent it. After an hour of not receiving the expected item I called back and the girl with all the attitude was shouting at everyone in a different language then slammed the phone

The original and still the best! Best value by far for a feast of delicious food. 11 out of ten.
