The chips are horrible they to go and learn how to make them,spoilt our curry,they went in the bin

Am a regular and can’t recall ever having anything but high quality food at exceptional good value for money whether it be fish and chip type meals, rice dishes (special and Singapore 👍👍), or Chinese meals. Fab place.

We have a fish and chippy tea every two to three weeks here, and it usually is excellent, but tonight 29th of May it was tasteless, the chips weren’t crisp as they usually are. It won’t stop us going but if it happens again we may.

Very pleased with the food good service and prompt, I suggest cash only is a negative for loss of trade for them but as long as you know it’s cash only , no drama as Sainsbury’s is across the road with a cash point. Food quality is good and portions large 👍

Awful, just awful. Ordered fish and chips which surely you can’t get wrong in a fish and chip shop? Small fish, rock hard batter and little fish inside. Scrappy hard chips. Won’t be back. Used to be nice here, what’s happened?

What’s happened to the place? Chips - awful Rice - too hard not fluffy Curry sauce - rubbish Noodles/Chow Mein - tasteless Scallops - soggy Fish - kids size Queue for ages, customer service non existent (don’t care about these two too much if the food was great but it’s not anymore) Very disappointing 👎🏻

Waited 90 minutes then when food arrived it was freezing

I bought a fish and small chips for £4.90. I have been going to this Chip shop since I moved to the are over 30 years ago. I have always had food that was good. However I have noticed that the quality over recent months is sadly no longer there. On my very recent visit I found the fish batter was smaller than what it has ever been which alerted me first and then as usual I opened the fish up to find the thinnest and smallest piece of fish I have ever seen. I have honestly had more fish in a Birds Eye Jumbo fish finger. The fish was cooked fresh and the batter was fine. The chip portion was very small but I can cope with that but the greasiness that accompanied the fish and chips was awful. I appreciate times are hard but any family going for a treat would not get one and would be wasting their moneyI am sorry to say. Sorry you have lost my business

Food is actually nice.. but I have never seen a smaller bag of prawn crackers.. not really worth scrimping on when they cost nothing to make. Also forgot my rice. I wouldnt say never again but those crackers were imperative to how I eat my shredded beef.. if you know you know!

Definitely warmed up chips of poor quality potatoes black eyes etc more batter than fish overcooked waited 25 min expecting fresh because of wait disappointed to say the least😕

Mainly do a delivery order for my dad , the staff are always pleasant and helpful delivery is always on time given a few minutes here and there .Food is always hot delicious and plentiful.

I think this place didn't used to be considered that good, but now it's the only Chinese I will go to other than Orchid. It's just as nice as the Orchid and it's so reasonable for the price.

Tasted stale took an hour and a half to arrive even prawn crackers were rubbery meat was dry egg didn't dare try prawns

I've been going to Sea Breeze since it opened 25+ years ago and I gave the food a 5 star + rating, but since it's been taken over by new management the food quality has taken serious nose dive, I can now honestly only give it a 1 Star rating, and won't be going back there again

It’s called Zuoxi Lemon Chicken Although the taste of British chicken is different But it tastes pretty good and has a Chinese feel

Used to visit this shop 2 or 3 times a week for over 25 years, now its every 2 or 3 months, just in the hope it has sorted its meals out - it hasn't! Weak, tasteless and watery sauces, especially the curry is still being served and has been since it was taken over last autumn. Very sad, see you in a few months and get some training done from the old cook before you lose more custom!!

Chicken cashews in Peking sauce usually lovely but not this time! Horrible watery vinegary sweet and sour sauce instead, a few raw cashews, must b new chef , won't b going again!

Fantastic food again tonight. Always freshly cooked and piping hot. Very easy to phone and order for delivery and always really quick with delivering too. Since we tried SeaBreeze we don't go anywhere else

Had fish and chips delivered last night BEST FISH EVER and chips were good too. The batter was perfect, the fish was enormous and cooked to perfection. Delivery was on time and at a reasonable price. The salt and pepper chips are amazing too (we’ve had these in the past).

I had the most expensive disgusting meal from sea Breeze in Bebington tonight it's spoilt my night I will never buy a takeaway from there again

Great people and fantastic food.

We have just collected 2 fried rice, chips, mushroom omelete plus prawn crackers. We have never before seen such disgusting food. The rice was a reheat and drowned in soy sauce, stuck together in a congealed mess. The fact this chip shop thought it was ok to send a customer away with such poor food is a disgrace.

Good chippy and food but it's hardly ever open which really lets it down, Hence the one star rating.

I've been going to this lovely little chippy for years. The food is tasty, well cooked and prepared with a wide range of choice. Staff are warm and welcoming. Even when the queues are long the wait is always short. Fully recommended.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Ordered salt and pepper chips that were not even chips, more like scratchings the bbq sauce was like water and the barm cake like a biscuit. Took food back and was extremely rude.

Ordered chicken fried rice and it was dreadful mushy no chicken hardly ended up in bin.. Also fish cakes were a joke!! So I was starving after paying £9 .. Won't be going there again... Ever... No no no I even had pains in my tummy.

Superb friendly staff always welcoming. Meals are tasty and well cooked. Portions are larger than most other places. Beef green pepper in black bean sauce is delicious. Chicken wings are really tasty. Won’t go anywhere else, been going here for over 20 years. Says it all!!

Tried this chippy for a change from our local one. Noticed immediately it's a lot cheaper but portions are the same as our usual chippy. I tried the penang thai meal which was nice but not to my taste. Never had it before so it is not a slight on the chef.My son had sweet and sour chicken balls and got loads which for a teenager is mana from heaven.In short we now have a new fav chippy. Try it yourselves as the staff are very friendly.

had the fish and chips one day and very good so a few days later went for a Chinese takeaway it was terrible wanted salt and pepper ribs they where red so more like bbq ribs also had the special fried rice a fried cold egg on the top and cold meat on the top took it back to be told that's how they do there salt and pepper ribs and that's how they serve there special fried rice, owner very rude told me to get out and don't come back she got that right will not be back go over the road up the hill a far better Chinese takeaway

El Sea Breeze ha sido nuestro "fish and chips" por más de 20 años con la misma cara familiar al mostrador y sigue siendo nuestra primera opción para China o pescado y comidas para llevar chip. Patatas fritas son consistentemente buenos - fresco fuera pero suaves por dentro - y las porciones son generosas (que normalmente tienen una entre dos). Mi favorito personal es el chop suey" al platillo roll - hecha que puede tomar un poco de tiempo así que reservé el pedido es una buena idea.

This chip was recommended by a friend for their salt and pepper chips, which I love. You get a big tray for about £2 and they're lovely. We also purchased normal chips, curry sauce and fish which were also nice.

The best Chinese and English fast food. Always served with a smile. Excellent, tasty food always served freshly made and piping hot! I would highly recommend the chicken and cashew with peking sauce!!

Love this chippy really reasonably priced and it's good sized portions would defiantly recommend this to others, it's open late and at dinner time also

we goto this chippy quite a lot as a treat, the meals are lovely and chips are nice the only thing I would say is we would like it better if the batter was a lot thinner as sometimes its not quite cooked in the middle but the fish is beautiful
