Super fast delivery and food was really nice. Had sweet and sour chicken, bbq ribs and chicken and sweetcorn soup. Will definitely order from there again.

£4.90 for a few chips and curry in a tray. Unbelievable profiteering. The quantity and quality also poor.Not recommended at all.

Rubbish food get a new cook sweet ans sour horible

Only wanted 2 portions of chips cost me £5.40 and had to wait nearly 25 mins. They weren’t even busy. By that time the moment had gone and I didn’t want them one I got home it was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen and I’ve never had such tasteless chips, so they ended up in the bin. Will not be revisiting I’ll go the silver river instead !

The loveliest of staff & delivery staff who have always adhered to slight adjustments we’ve requested with our food order. Delivered promptly which enables our food to always arrive hot and they never fail to provide the tastiest meals with great value for money! Thanks team! X

Tasteless sh hight, not sure how you can go so wrong with a chicken burger and chips. The chicken burger tasted the same as the chips? Don’t recommend this place, plenty of places around Eastham that do decent food. First and last visit.

I'd give it a no star rating if I could. Think they pluck prices from thin air. Food is poor service is terrible with girls standing chatting about nothing instead of working. Quicker making the food myself. They don't even no what offers they do and when you question it they come out with rubbish. The delivery drivers stand there staring at customers. I for one won't be going back there again and a few people think it's awful. Avoid. If you want a decent meal try Chinese around the corner

Absolute rubbish meal as a chef it appears food process is an after thought☹️veg meals horrid no thought for ingredients, beef fried rice dry rice/ beef taste like flip flops texture, give a miss go some were else☹️

The worst hot and sour soup I've had by far out of 3 other places. Not fresh prawns, extra salty and tastes more like vinegar than hot and sour. To top it off I put the chopped up spam they use in the bin.

This place used to be good value for money & good quality, flavoured food. It is now overpriced & bland. Just got a chicken pineapple meal & the chicken looked like it had been boiled, the so called pineapple sauce had no flavour & was very watery. The actual pineapple pieces had no flavour either & they charge £8 20 for it. Better value going for a pub meal nowadays.

Ordered salt and pepper ribs and they gave us peiking ribs, tried to say salt and pepper ribs are always red and wouldn’t change them.

Worst Chinese takeaway we have ever had. Even egg fried rice was horrible. Crispy beef soggy, Black bean sauce tasteless and Special with Oyster sauce tasted like a vegetable stock cube. Don’t think the prawn toast had any prawns All revolting, Lesson learned.

Awful service. Ordered online with an estimate of 20-40 minutes for delivery. After an hour I tried to call the shop, but it went straight to voicemail repeatedly. My husband therefore went to the shop to see if they were even open. When there they didn’t have a clue what was going on and said it had left the shop. Food arrived after an hour and 15 minutes. It was cold, items were missing and incorrect. We will not be ordering again.

Ordered food online. Very unprofessional, and lacking customer service. Didn't update us on our order, wouldn't answer the phone, order was over an hour late. Delivery person through the food at our son and ran off without any apology. Food was stone cold. Rice was cold, and hard. Chips were reheated. Chilli beef was like putting acid in your mouth and it was vile. Prawn crackers were stale. Sauce to bbq ribs were all over the bag. Overall I would stay away from this takeaway.

Awful is an understatement the 2 women behind the counter need to concentrate on customer service rather than fake tan chips were bland and under cooked sausage tasted like it was cooked a week ago 😡 to top it off took nearly 15 mins to tray up what was already cooked and then the final straw was the big guy coming out touching food with unwashed hands and talking to staff who then stop working to talk to him Will never go again and I would advise anyone who wants good safe food to avoid

Had chicken chow mein absolutely no vegetables were was the mushrooms ? Water chestnuts ? Carrots and broccoli ? Onion ???? Basically just a plate of noodles and beansprouts..... was not worth £8.50 ... will not be using again

I have ordered Chinese food from Hungrys in Eastham many times over the past few years and they never disappoint! Tonight I went to collect the '£15 fish and chips special' which I won on their Facebook competition and I was highly impressed!! 👍 The fish was cooked fresh to order, was absolutely huge and super crispy 😍 the chips were proper chippy chips, bloody lovely! 👌 The staff were really friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend this place!! And I will definitely be ordering the fish and chips again as it was perfect! Thank you very much Hungrys!!! 😁🥰

Standard of service in there is awful. Long waits for food, girls standing behind counter talking and ignoring customers. Bad attitude when they serve you then keep you waiting for hours. One customer who will be going elsewhere from now on

Awful customer service, the young female who worked there spoke to me and looked at me in the most disgusting manner. They’ve raised the prices on the menu yet the menu still has the old prices on. The CHEESE OMELETTE should be just that, but when I arrived home there was onions on it, to which I’m intolerant. Straight in the bin. Ps you should go easy on the sun beds love your face looks like a leather football.

I wasn’t expecting much since there were both good and not so good reviews but I was gladly proven wrong. I loved the food and still warm enough to properly taste it…and the staff was so helpful in suggesting sides. I will order over and over again as it’s cheap, quick and sooooooo mouth watering tasty 🫠

We ordered but were overlooked it was very busy. After we waited for 40 minutes. I queried our order. They apologised sincerely and gave us the order free of charge as we had waited so long. Cannot fault the staff rushed off their feet.meal was amazing. Would not go anywhere else.

What a dreadful shop . We ordered from Hungrys Eastham numerous times … always late but the food was ok . Tonight they missed Chips from the order and when I rang to let them know , they said they’d send them as soon as the driver got back . 20 mins later I noticed I had a missed call from them so tried calling them back , when they eventually answered (15 mins ) they said I’d not added them in the order ( I had ) so they weren’t sending them . I asked to speak to the manager and they said to ring back , she was busy …….. no customer service whatsoever. Note … be aware to make sure you add everything you need to your order . I did a few dummy orders and once it added them , twice it didn’t , so obviously a problem with their ordering website . I would have told them about it , if the manager had taken the call .

Absolutely shocking service last night. My husband ordered fish, chips, fish cake, curry sauce and 2x regular cokes at 6.30pm. Delivery took over an hr - when it arrived we only had fish, fish cake and coke zero... phoned to request everything be delivered again as fish etc would go cold by the time we got chips..we were told NO and told we could only have a refund for the chips! Opted to wait for the chips as had no other choice which then didn't arrive until gone 9pm when we ordered at 6.30pm and paid over £18 for the privilege. Would never ever use again!! Staff were unhelpful and rude.

Bonfire night treat turned into a horrendous experience in the art of fast food cooking Went to this place (can't call it a chippy ) as that would disrespect all other chippys in Wirral Ordered prawn crackers spare ribs curry and rice and Hungary's special burger and chips with an extra portion of chips What a mistake we got home opened it the curried rice had chips mixed with it and the curry was no more than a tea spoon full the prawn crackers were stale and soft Rice congealed and the burger was a sloppy mess as for the chips well it would be an insult to describe them as that they were full of black eyes and rock hard and bone dry these had been reheated umpteen times the only thing that resembled our order was the ribs with micron meat on them (could have got better ribs in Asda) Àll bar ribs inedable Rang manager who told us it was his staffs fault not his When we asked for a refund he replied if he did this to every body who complained he would would not have a business And was not sympathetic in any way to our concerns or complaints To all who reads this if you want even a hard decent meal that looks remotely like what you ordered and not worry about the risk of upset tummies AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We Went To Hungry's Eastham As A Family For Some Food & Was Greeted By Friendly Staff, There Was Face Painting For Halloween For Everyone & Chicken Nuggets & Chips Free For The Kids Who Had Their Faces Painted This Was Such A Good Idea, Me & My Partner Had a Meal Each And The Food Was Delicious, I Highly Recommend This Chippy, Thanks HUNGRY'S EASTHAM, 👍

Ordered 2 fishcakes and large chips here recently fishcakes incinerated!! Chips refried time waited a joke i may as well gone home and made my own! And save myself 7 quid! This was a lovely chippy years ago!now? Utter rubbish and eastham branch no better total chaos at that one. Will be saving my money in future.

Absolutely terrible attitude from whoever serves in this chippy. They need a new manager and staff. Granted they were busy but omg there is no reason to speak to customers this way. Food is hit and miss and they seem to care more about the delivery orders than those customers who are waiting to be served. Definitely will not be going there again.

Ordered for delivery on a Sunday evening. After an hour I called. Was told its out for delivery. 30 minutes after that I call again. Told its now out. After a few more questions, I find out its not out. The driver is out needs to go back the shop in 10 minutes then pick the food up then come to me. Absolutely terrible. Ended up going elsewhere. So lies and if I was lucky food would of taken an TWO HOURS ! Never again.

Food was over 1hr late from delivery time given on app rang to complain to manager staff were rude and just wanted to argue and give excuses was told they don't go by a delivery time so what's the point of the app to keep you informed won't be using again disgracefull and so rude the way they speak to customers

Absolute waste of money, go elsewhere, food was terrible, hardly any meat in my meal, this is the one on Church Road, Birkenhead.... I won't be going back. I suggest you swerve it.

Shocking chippy!! Prices seem to be hiking meanwhile service plummits!! Been a regular customer for years, when busy the poor service can be forgiven, however, Ive just walked in, the shop was practically empty and Ive had my order, barely wrapped, thrown accross the counter at me, £2.80 for a portion of chips that barely feed 1!!!

Went to order a combo meal that we hadn't had in a while on just eat, was not there so we called up to ask. Got told not all on the things on the menu are up on the app so just order the things separately bc they couldn't take the order on the phone bc that was for collection only (bit silly like) so we then ask if they could see how much it would all cost separately to which we got the phone hng up on us. We order separately it costs £20 instead on the combo price at £15 and had to pay extra for prawn crackers which usually just come with it. It takes 1 hour and 45 mins to arrive and the shop is 0.4 miles up a straight road from our house And the chicken and sweet corn soup was really plain

I was there today and they have 3 young girls working there the oldest must've been 17 none of them had a clue and 1 of them was constantly putting her finger in her mouth biting her nail then handling the food/chippy paper absoloutley wrong!! I had to put 1 star as i could'nt put none!!

Great fish & chips! Food was very tasty, £12.40 for 2 large haddock and a family portion of chips. I think price is great. Also, quality of food was very nice, surely I’ll visit them again!

Ordered from here afew times and despite the website saying 45mins it has taken over 2 hours for delivery to arrive. On phoning up I get told it's "out for delivery" or other "we're really busy" excuses. Tried to order for collection and on arriving at my collection time NOTHING had been prep'd and I had to wait for nearly 20 minutes... Shame because the food is good but service is awful.

Ordered takeaway delivery via their new website delivery option asap. Unfortunately after 90 minutes no delivery. On ringing the restaurant they said that they'd not received my order despite my payment going through and receiving a receipt. The lady was pleasent enough and my order was rushed through and delivered within 30 minutes but by this time it was over 2 hours since original order and close to my son's bedtime. (8.40) No offer of discount off this order or next one as an apology. Food was nice but I think I will pick up in future

Ordered a few meals from Hungary’s Eastham recently with the same problem each time....... the chips are very very greasy. Taken one lot back to be given a second portion which was even worse and went in the bin. Not sure if they were yesterday’s reheated as I went in shortly after 5pm. (Iv gone to Hungary’s Eastham and Bromborough for years, but certainly seems to have gone down hill recently in terms of chips.....). I will be trying somewhere new next time.

We are currently still waiting for food from 2 hours ago. We first phoned the restaurant 10 minutes after it was due we were told the delivery driver was on his way, 50 minutes later it’s still not here. The restaurant has been very unhelpful on the phone and could not offer any help and were rude. The restaurant even continued to take other orders while on the phone to us and they swapped staff multiple times on the phone and asked the same information again and again. Two other people in our household ordered before us and also waited over an hour and the food came in appalling quality. Safe to say we will never be ordering again, and that our food will probably be in the same state.

DO NOT EAT FOOD FROM THE EASTHAM HUNGRYS BRANCH! Order placed at 8:00pm due for paid delivery at 8:45. After a no show it took another 100 attempts between 2 phones to get in touch with the shop. We were told it would be another 15 minutes, fine 9:00pm not too bad. Got to 9:30 still no food and no answer from the shop so decided to go and pick up the order as they shut at 10. Got there and nobody was doing much and the shop was empty. Asked for the order it had been sat in a bag going cold. Must have been reheated a lot because everything was rubbery and disgusting to taste. We asked for a refund because we had to pick up the order ourself, it was cold and nobody was trying to sort it out to be delivered. They said they couldn't refund because the manager wasnt in but call tomorrow and they can sort it. I tried calling and was met with a barrage of abuse from the manager telling me I'm a liar, I'm lazy, I'm a piece of s**t for asking for a refund and not to go back to his shop again. I have proof of everything. And will be taking the matter further. DO NOT VISIT THE EASTHAM HUNGRYS. You will be treated like dirt if you try to defend yourself against their poor standards. I have never had a problem with the Bromborough shop they have always been so polite, accommodating and have amazing food, such a shame the same cant be said for the branch up the road. If I could give zero stars I would.

Tried this shop last week Fish were over cooked and chips soggy, but as I had as I had always Good food in the past I gave it another try it was worse fish over cooked all batter and chips soggy sorry won't be returning very disappointed

NOT RECOMMENDED. Took our online order and payment, gave a delivery time. Still waiting well over an HOUR LATER than stated. Didn't answer their phone. When it did arrive it's NOT EVEN CORRECT. No apology, nothing. Will not be using these again

I ordered a plain cheese omelette making sure they understood that there was to be no onion , peas etc on the omelette, I even got the girl serving me to repeat it back to make sure. Low and behold I get home and the omelette is packed with onions, so the whole thing went in the bin ,waste of time. Won’t be using them again.

This was our first takeaway since lockdown and they have an excellent system on their website. Very tasty food too
