Stephen was very quick and hardworking despite work under pressure as he works on his own preparing the fries, as a cashier and serving it to the customer. Amazing worker!

After hearing negative reviews to say the least from lots of people I decided to go and see if it was really as bad as I have heard, to say I was shocked is an understatement. The chips were cooked to perfection and the sausage was perfect with the right amount of batter too. Also the staff there were some of the most friendly people I have ever met I was there for hours talking to them they even gave me a fork for 5 pence. I think as far as fish and chips go you don’t get much better than tait’s it makes me emotional just writing this as the man and woman who worked there have made me a better person by giving me the best fish and chips of my life. All I can say is thank you

Called in for fuel and as we were a bit peckish bought a couple of Subways the staff were friendly ( a little bored possibly ) but the sandwiches were fine

Just to start off, I’ve been here multiple times and the staff have no respect or maturity whatsoever. These staff put no effort into making the food, literally doing it as quick as they can, putting burgers out of place so they just fall apart. Also, the toilets seem to rarely get cleaned as they smell horrifying and there is also food found on the floor? This place is so unhygienic so honestly, make sure to bring some hand sanitiser if you plan on going here. Also, not to mention that people under the age of 18 are not allowed in after 4pm? Me and my friends tried to come here once at exactly 4:01pm and the ‘bouncer’ that Mcdonald’s has hired told us to go away!!! How sad do you have to be? It didn’t even look busy inside either, just showing how lazy these workers really are. ——— Anyways, onto my experience today with Mcdonald’s. I ordered my food via Uber Eats and after almost 1 and a half hours, my food had finally came, arriving stone cold. Also, not to mention the bag that my drink was in was leaking out the bag, How careless are these workers? I ordered a McSpicy chicken burger and requested no burger sauce as I use my own at home, and the staff didn’t even bother to put no sauce in it. I also ordered 2 of the new Minecraft sauces and they didn’t arrive. My fries were freezing aswell. Mcdonald’s, I suggest you should up your game because this is clearly minimal effort.

A quick snack and everything perfect. Even the machine gave out a receipt! Food as good as McD gets and served promptly with a smile, Could not be better

We were in Stanhope and decided to pop in to Freddie's however before I placed my order I asked if they took cards, I was then totally shocked when this rather abrupt woman said if I must, then started ranting on about the bank charging her £1.20 for each transaction. If this is the case then I would suggest a notice on the window saying cash only or even a polite I would prefer cash but no problem if you only have a card response. I am very much in favour of supporting local businesses but this one does not deserve it with an attitude like that In the end we ordered 2x small fish and chips which were mediocre to average but obviously do not recommend this place and will not return.

1. The security at Asda Gosforth needs a reality check. You’re not the gestapos or the police so stop acting like it when someone accidentally goes the wrong way with a trolly when you have kids with this stores strange one way in/out door system. Disgusting behaviour from the security guard on the door with their strange Covid like one way system. I’ll be reporting this to Asda management. 2. Never any checkouts open. An obsession with FORCING customers to use self service checkouts which are anything but. Open some actual checkouts. Get some staff and stop ripping the public off. 3. Go to another store. The quality of products have taken a dive in recent months. Especially the meat at this Asda.

Food always arrives on time and everything is delicious. Best pizzas in Sunderland.

Best maccies breakfast I’ve ever had and I’ve had a fair few!! Everything was hot and fresh, the egg was cooked absolutely perfect compared to the usual rubber ones which I often take out because they’re so overdone. The egg drip on my jumper was welcomed ! Spot on breakfast .. cheers guys.

Nipped in here out of desperation when everything shut at 9pm. Toilets were repulsive. Two cubicles, one blocked, no loo roll in the other cubicle. Tables all dirty, all staff behind the counter so no-one dealing with the grimy tables. Filthy floor. Pretty disgusting all round. Asked for the table to be cleaned and the member of staff did our table, ignored all the others then went back behind the counter to hang around and chat. The food was acceptable so 2 stars. Not sure why I expected much else from McDs.

Thought I’d give this place another go after it’s very expensive refit, to see if they’ve managed to address the quality of their chips, which have been reliably appalling for years……. nope, absolutely dreadful as usual… totally limp, cold & inedible…. how can you get something this simple this badly wrong? It’s not just once or twice, which would be forgivable…... it’s EVERY single time!!!!
