Pleasant until I used the toilet, terrible smell, no chemicals used to reduce the smell 🤢. In desperate need of a refurbishment

I thought the food was boring not made up properly the service was awful they got everything wrong in my order tables aren’t clean and the atmosphere was just miserable people

Refused access to disabled toilet with my disabled child, made to use downstairs toilet which caused a lot of distress for him

Regular McDonalds. Very busy and long wait.

Absolute nightmare, very busy all the time. Don't even try to sit in. There's a upstairs and downstairs but they're never open

One of the drinks I ordered spilled and landed in the McFlurry. I only have half of a drink because of this

Dunno what happened. But all the chips were placed upsode down in the bag so basically 4 large fries turned into a bag of fries. My kids hapoy meal toy was missing and one of the double mac burgers was missing half the burger. Ridiculous.

McDonald's was shocking! Used machine to order thinking it would save time but there was no receipts in machine 😱 took around half an hour to get order as was very busy. You didn't have frappe on which I was looking forward to! So we got milkshakes (which were literally like warm glasses of milk!) Not the remembered thickness of a McDonald's milkshakes 🙄 I had a sip of mine and left the rest was so poor! Chips were cold and soggy then the burger also cold with raw bacon in! Our meals came to around £16 they were so disappointing we've been put of McDonald's now for a long time! Also all the tables were filthy covered in sauces, drinks and food. I saw how busy you were but surely you should still want a decent hygiene level of your restaurant and to cook food properly! Your staff don't work well together they're highly disorganised...I saw a lady infront of me make your staff member get fresh food as her child's happy meals were stood there for ten minutes! When the lady asked why that was done the female worker said casually waiting for the drink! McDonald's certainly needs to improve standards and FYI raw bacon can make you ill aswell as warm milk instead of milkshakes is rather disgusting 🤢 🤮 I can't recommend anything we ate as people would be mad and possibly get sick 🤢🤮 you get 4 thumbs down as I'm rating for my meal and my partners! 👎👎👎👎

The cleanliness in this restaurant was disgusting, food, dirt and sauce all over the tables and floor. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. Toilets were disgusting and un usable. Food order was wrong, then freezing cold, then just tasted awful and not like the usual McDonalds i go too . Waited 40 minuted for food. Staff were miserable and lazy.

The worst toilet I've seen in my life.

Ordered about a month ago and had missing items off our order and so received a voucher (not a refund) for a free medium meal. We then used this tonight as well as buying a second meal full price and some extras. Once arrived the burger for the free meal we ordered was missing as well as several mistakes with the rest of the order (missing sauce / wrong sauce and wrong drink). We tried calling to see if we could rearrange for the burger to be delivered or even if we could go and pick it up and the person on the other end of the line hung up. At this point would recommend not ordering at any given time, would be better just to go in or order from somewhere else.

Never use Just Eat for your orders.The driver went to the wrong address and instead of driving 5 minutes to the correct location wanted me to come meet him and then insisted that I had to tip him in for him to come to me. Garbage company

Food was meant to come between 14:15 and 14:35, it came at 15:00, coke was half spilled in the bag and my food was cold

I recently visited the McDonald's branch at 64, &bradburn house , 70 Northumberland st,Newcastle upon tyne ne17df on 22 july 2024 at around 11.30 .I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the toilets and the behavior of the staff. The toilets were filthy, with wet and dirty floors, unclean sinks, and a terrible odor. It was clear that they had not been cleaned for a while. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, they were dismissive and indifferent. They did not offer any help or assurance that the issue would be addressed. This experience has left me concerned about the hygiene standards at this location. I hope McDonald's UK takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness and customer service at this branch. Rating: ⭐

can't even deliver the right burger I ordered a double big mac with bacon and was only sent a normal big mac with no bacon absolutely ridiculous iv sent pictures to just eat and even the receipt printed by mcdonalds saying its only a big mac but as usual you get a generic email back from just eat saying "they looked into everything and can't do nothing about it with the information they have thanks for my understanding" this is totally wrong iv proved the wrong order was sent and still have pic

Literally the Worst Mcdonalds I've ever had, was a "treat" after a horror movie at the cinema, however the real horror was to appear once I finished the large fries which were fine, the triple cheese burger though seemed almost premasticated, a thick coating of bile around the bun as if it had been dropped in a puddle 1st, I'll not be going back again, literally awful, review would be less than 1 star if I had my way....the staff replaced the 2 triple cheeseburgers, however joke was on us, prepared and sat on more like, almost crime scene like, red bloody sauce oozing all over the bun and packet, utterly appalling

You would think on a Saturday night, match night of all nights….that this place would more than 2 staff running around 25/30 orders. Filled with children all drunk in their juicy tracksuits…while security does absolutely nothing, 9/10 they are friends with the children who are causing the aweful atmosphere.

Staff are blank behind the eyes, slow and unmotivated, one of the worst maccies I’ve seen and I’ve been to hundreds over the years, this place was so depressing I felt the need to write a review of it

The most disgusting food experience I've ever had. Full bin bags were everywhere, with no effort to be clearing them away. Toilets had no soap, and staff manhandling food. General manager was stood on the side doing nothing to clear the place up or the bins. There was more effort keeping banned teenagers out then there was cleaning.

I think mcdonald corporate need to audit this restaurant it's a absolute joke! Upon entry angry security guard shouting at people, order took 25 minutes to receive, uninterested staff with no sense of urgency chatting amongst themselves, manager oblivious to huge queue of disgruntled customers, dirty tables, no napkins, no ketchup pots, dirty condiments station, litter all over the floor, cleaner guy standing around doing nothing apart from leaning with brush and pan in hand. Today I witnessed the absolute worst in customer service and it was in McDonald's Northumberland Street Newcastle upon Tyne. McDonald's corporate need to audit this site immediately.

I know it doesnt take many GCSE's to work in a Mcdonalds and it consists of mainly dopey members of society, but getting an order completley wrong or even giving people other peoples orders regardless of how busy it is shows that the people they hire dont care for customer satisfaction. Id say "do you want fries with that" but they didnt even give me them! PS. This is a reoccuring problem i've had with this Northumberland Street Mcdonalds

I had to wait 40 minutes for my order as there was a long queue when i asked for a refund they didn't even listen they were running around . The food was cold and taste less never going there any more ...

My order took nearly two hours to come very disappointing

The place is not clean. The employees work without jumping to their hands. They hold the tables, wipe them with their hands, and prepare the food, holding the chicken in their hands. It is difficult. I saw the employee wiping the sweat from his forehead while he wa s preparing the burger and holding the piece of chicken. The situation was disgusting. I do not recommend it at all.

Dirty, full of annoying teenagers, 2 security guards just messing around with them. Bins overflowing, tables were literally filthy, toilet scruffy. Not really a good McDonalds for a main city centre location. Don't usually use McDonalds and it'd been quite a while since I'd been in this store, won't be rushing back until I'm walking past and hungry looking for a cheap meal again.

Absolutely terrible service. We ordered on a table and waited 30 minutes then 2 of our group had to leave as would of missed the metro. They didn't get what they ordered in time and we had to go up and ask the staff where our order was multiple times until eventually after going up and asking for the final time we got our order.

Missing items from order - fruit shoot missing from my little girls happy meal and my chicken nugget meal was short a nugget! Love my scran and was starving so was pretty sad about that. Also, sauces meant to come with meals and ones I paid extra for were missing, which is a common occurrence when ordering a delivery from McDonald’s. Delivery time was double what it first said when order first went through. Apart from that the food was nice and hot, apart from my husband’s latte that was cold.

Food was lukewarm but overall with delivery was a better experience than previous times.

I was on a hospital ward with my son. Within the notes on the order I had given my husbands phone number and asked for him to be called. The driver kept calling me, he didn’t understand what I was saying and kept repeating waiting 10 minutes only 2 more minutes and gone

Ate 9:30pm on a Wednesday. Restaurant was absolutely filthy. I didnt see a single table or corner of the floor that wasn't covered food and rubbish. Also out of the entire desert menu only one item, the pie was available. I travel a lot and this one worst restaurants I've been to

Macdonalds Northumberland Street. Very very poor.... Pop was warm and flat so been standing for ages. Burger was luke warm and chips were cold and soggy. No sauce available and a lot of the tables were very dirty. I wont be going back there in a hurry.

Their security is absolutely appalling and shouldn't be allowed to work. Black security guard with an earring in his left ear. Has a horrendous reputation and threw a man out for saying bomboclart to his friend, resulting in him not getting his food. Then after SPITTING on my friend and screaming in his face, as my friend started walking away threw his body camera away and sprinted after him trying to fight him. About 10 witnesses and if something isn't done about him I have a mind to report this to police.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The tables were all filthy. The toilets were filthy. Our meals were all cold. The sprite didn't actually have any sprite in it, it was just soda water. There was no sauce in any of the dispensers. It took 20 minutes for our food to be ready. I could go on but you get the gist. Avoid this place like the plague.

Driver was incredibly rude, delivered only dips (wrong dips) told him it was not my order he then dropped the order on the floor in my garden and left.
