AWFUL ,KIDS LOITERING AND RUNNING IN AND OUT ,FOOD COLD ,TABLES AND FLOORS A MESS , WAS OVERCHARGED , SURELY TRADING STANDARDS SHOULD SEE WHAT YOU GET IS NOT WHAT IS ON THE PICTURE MENU,

delicious burger, thank you, I received my order very quickly! Greetings from Ukraine

Slow service, has to ask for my order at the desk and prove what I had ordered after 40 minutes of waiting. I will not be back again, and I would suggest you go to another location in Newcastle as they are far more organised.

22 minute wait at 9pm on a Thursday night for a standard meal, my food was given away to a chancer pretending my order was theirs, then the whole restaurant was disgusting, no bins so everyone left their rubbish like this. Staff hide in the kitchen, wasn’t even that busy.

Machines only available for takeaway so had to queue for ordering. Got only 1 toy between two kids happy meals. Had to request another one. Toilets were blocked on all 4 women's. Got two free mcflurrys for the monopoly wins and only available on certain ones. All other Mcdonalds you can order on the machines and sit in and place needs to be brought up to the standard of all the other Mcdonalds. All other premises you can also have any mcflurry on a monopoly winning ticket.

The absolute state of this place. Shameful. Litter everywhere. Food all over the tables and floor. Tiles hanging off the toilet wall. Disgusting. Either clean the place up or close.

Worst Mcdonald I've ever been to took ages todo one order and 5 staff members stood around doing absolutely nothing but messing around with each other come on mcdonalds get q grip of your staff absolutely shocking behaviour ridiculous not happy one bit I suggest noone visit this place..........

We ordered some veggie dippers and chips, it took 40 minutes to be ready. When the food came the chips and dippers were cold. Very bad customer service, and the staff were less than accommodating. Would not recommend coming here.

Would be the best McDonald's on the planet if they got the food out with the gusto the manager cleans the grill

Ordered 20 Nuggets, a Double Cheeseburger and Large Fries, the Cheeseburger was not included in my delivery order. Called to flag this and no response. Very disappointed as I regularly order from this particular McDonald’s after a night out.

All the tables had empty packaging, drinks etc . Struggled to find a clear table. Nobody clearing tables . Appreciate it's a very busy restaurant but get some staff! Floor covered in chips. Girl who brought order very pleasant not her fault. Husband found a cloth and wiped our table and the table next to us. Toilets downstairs closed and other toilet had no soap and hand dryer didn't work. Needs sorted .

There was some issues at the restaurant earlier today alot of queues customers waited quite some time, I'm not sure if there was shortage of staff, but I did say to one member of staff at the front of the restaurant that I would leave positive feedback because the staff handled the situation well given the pressure they were under well done.

Called in here in a Saturday early evening before going to the City Hall for a gig. What a disgrace of a place and the staff are not bothered whatsoever. Queues normal for a busy city branch but the cleanliness was the worst I’ve seen in ANY fast food outlet never mind a McDonalds. Litter and rubbish everywhere. Some swept up into piles next to bins and left there. Empty cartons strewn all over the floor throughout the place and those staff not serving just meandering through it talking to the security guard etc. When finally got up to the counter to collect my order, I saw the disgusting pile of dropped fries and other things under the fries part. No attempt to clean it up whatsoever. Staff looked tired, sick and were very unwelcoming. Miserable faces all around. The burgers were just edible. We sat inside after moving rubbish off the table left there by a previous customer obviously and watched as the local kids just took over the place. Seems to be the local hangout for kids and underage dates. Urban grotesque at its best. Unbelievable and yet will McDonald’s do anything about it? Bet not. Felt sorry for the security guy as the kids looked a handful.

Food could’ve been hotter but wasn’t inedible

food was picked up on time and delivery then pushed back slowly for 20 minutes for no obvious reason. good is absolutely stone cold, not even a little bit lukewarm. so hungry and so disappointed

I have been waiting for 2 1/2 hours for my delivery! Still nothing. I can not even contact anyone to see what's happening.

Drink spilled all over bag burger inedible - missing fries

1/10 experience got pestered by the delivery driver multiple times and the food was soggy over all very disappointed

That was the awfulest experience ever. We had to wait for the food for one hour and twenty minutes and the burgers were cold. The tables all were dirty. We didn't see anyone cleaning anything during all the time we spent there.

The order took more than an hour and turned up cold and the ice cream was completely melted too. I will not be ordering from here again

My order never arrived! Waited almost 3 hours for two burgers and The restaurant kept changing the time from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and then at 8 o’clock it said that the driver was on the street and that my order had been delivered. I did not receive my order.!!! never order from Northumberland Street again

I waited 3 hours for this. the drink was also completely spilt everywhere.

Kept putting the time up, 2 hours later they were still preparing the food and the driver had been there for around 1 hour 45, why dont you cancel the order or better yet dont accept it in the first place if you dont have any intention of sending it!

It was estimated 7-45 we got it at 9-57 didn’t get everything I ordered mc flurries totally melted and stone cold totally disgusting my granddaughter was very unhappy with her food

The order wasn’t actually delivered…

Placed the order at around 19:11pm and didn't receive the food until 22:25pm. Waited over 3 hours for the food and I had the phone put down on me when I rang the restaurant to inquire. Absolutely shocking service.

Ordered a cup of tea that arrived upside down in a cup that was falling apart. Burned myself and spilled tea everywhere. Food was ice cold. No option to add sauces etc. You get what you pay for I guess!

The staff are so slow in this MacDonald they pay no notice when your standing trying to order at the tills with cash then you have them calling each other on the front of house moaning about other members of staff not doing there jobs 15 minutes wait for a cheese burger.

The machines didn't work properly and we witnessed one poor guy who had been charged 5 times by his machine for the same order which was duplicated. It was clearly a known error as the staff said its another one (whilst bagging the five orders)...he had to stand and argue with them to get the orders cancelled and the money refunded! We also saw several older people walkn in and out after struggling with the machines. I know that you can order at the counter but they obviously didn't and left.

The food at McDonald's is good; however, there was a young white female cashier whose attitude was really terrible. I saw my food was ready, went to the counter to pick it up, and told her my number. Silly she just stood there and didn’t hand me the food, instead, she impatiently told me to wait a little longer. I’m sorry what if you do me a favor? I don’t understand why such a big company like McDonald's would hire employees who don’t do their jobs properly. I feel ashamed for McDonald's.

Good evening, as a family that has come over 160miles to stay in Newcastle. We thought what more than a brilliant idea to have a McDonalds. To only receive, the worst quality off food we have ever had from yourself. The chicken nuggets was very over cooked and cold. Chips was soggy and cold. The burger tho on the other hand was the best thing that we had to share around been starving! I’m hoping for a good reason and response back. Kind regards

Dunno what happened. But all the chips were placed upsode down in the bag so basically 4 large fries turned into a bag of fries. My kids hapoy meal toy was missing and one of the double mac burgers was missing half the burger. Ridiculous.

McDonald's was shocking! Used machine to order thinking it would save time but there was no receipts in machine 😱 took around half an hour to get order as was very busy. You didn't have frappe on which I was looking forward to! So we got milkshakes (which were literally like warm glasses of milk!) Not the remembered thickness of a McDonald's milkshakes 🙄 I had a sip of mine and left the rest was so poor! Chips were cold and soggy then the burger also cold with raw bacon in! Our meals came to around £16 they were so disappointing we've been put of McDonald's now for a long time! Also all the tables were filthy covered in sauces, drinks and food. I saw how busy you were but surely you should still want a decent hygiene level of your restaurant and to cook food properly! Your staff don't work well together they're highly disorganised...I saw a lady infront of me make your staff member get fresh food as her child's happy meals were stood there for ten minutes! When the lady asked why that was done the female worker said casually waiting for the drink! McDonald's certainly needs to improve standards and FYI raw bacon can make you ill aswell as warm milk instead of milkshakes is rather disgusting 🤢 🤮 I can't recommend anything we ate as people would be mad and possibly get sick 🤢🤮 you get 4 thumbs down as I'm rating for my meal and my partners! 👎👎👎👎

The cleanliness in this restaurant was disgusting, food, dirt and sauce all over the tables and floor. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. Toilets were disgusting and un usable. Food order was wrong, then freezing cold, then just tasted awful and not like the usual McDonalds i go too . Waited 40 minuted for food. Staff were miserable and lazy.

The worst toilet I've seen in my life.

Ordered about a month ago and had missing items off our order and so received a voucher (not a refund) for a free medium meal. We then used this tonight as well as buying a second meal full price and some extras. Once arrived the burger for the free meal we ordered was missing as well as several mistakes with the rest of the order (missing sauce / wrong sauce and wrong drink). We tried calling to see if we could rearrange for the burger to be delivered or even if we could go and pick it up and the person on the other end of the line hung up. At this point would recommend not ordering at any given time, would be better just to go in or order from somewhere else.

Never use Just Eat for your orders.The driver went to the wrong address and instead of driving 5 minutes to the correct location wanted me to come meet him and then insisted that I had to tip him in for him to come to me. Garbage company

I recently visited the McDonald's branch at 64, &bradburn house , 70 Northumberland st,Newcastle upon tyne ne17df on 22 july 2024 at around 11.30 .I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the toilets and the behavior of the staff. The toilets were filthy, with wet and dirty floors, unclean sinks, and a terrible odor. It was clear that they had not been cleaned for a while. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, they were dismissive and indifferent. They did not offer any help or assurance that the issue would be addressed. This experience has left me concerned about the hygiene standards at this location. I hope McDonald's UK takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness and customer service at this branch. Rating: ⭐

can't even deliver the right burger I ordered a double big mac with bacon and was only sent a normal big mac with no bacon absolutely ridiculous iv sent pictures to just eat and even the receipt printed by mcdonalds saying its only a big mac but as usual you get a generic email back from just eat saying "they looked into everything and can't do nothing about it with the information they have thanks for my understanding" this is totally wrong iv proved the wrong order was sent and still have pic

Literally the Worst Mcdonalds I've ever had, was a "treat" after a horror movie at the cinema, however the real horror was to appear once I finished the large fries which were fine, the triple cheese burger though seemed almost premasticated, a thick coating of bile around the bun as if it had been dropped in a puddle 1st, I'll not be going back again, literally awful, review would be less than 1 star if I had my way....the staff replaced the 2 triple cheeseburgers, however joke was on us, prepared and sat on more like, almost crime scene like, red bloody sauce oozing all over the bun and packet, utterly appalling

You would think on a Saturday night, match night of all nights….that this place would more than 2 staff running around 25/30 orders. Filled with children all drunk in their juicy tracksuits…while security does absolutely nothing, 9/10 they are friends with the children who are causing the aweful atmosphere.

Staff are blank behind the eyes, slow and unmotivated, one of the worst maccies I’ve seen and I’ve been to hundreds over the years, this place was so depressing I felt the need to write a review of it

The most disgusting food experience I've ever had. Full bin bags were everywhere, with no effort to be clearing them away. Toilets had no soap, and staff manhandling food. General manager was stood on the side doing nothing to clear the place up or the bins. There was more effort keeping banned teenagers out then there was cleaning.

I think mcdonald corporate need to audit this restaurant it's a absolute joke! Upon entry angry security guard shouting at people, order took 25 minutes to receive, uninterested staff with no sense of urgency chatting amongst themselves, manager oblivious to huge queue of disgruntled customers, dirty tables, no napkins, no ketchup pots, dirty condiments station, litter all over the floor, cleaner guy standing around doing nothing apart from leaning with brush and pan in hand. Today I witnessed the absolute worst in customer service and it was in McDonald's Northumberland Street Newcastle upon Tyne. McDonald's corporate need to audit this site immediately.
