Just what you need to cure a hangover

This place was disgusting!I ordered a large vanilla milkshake and they gave me banana,so I obviously went and asked them to change it.And once I got an actual vanilla milkshake,it had a weird taste to it,so I poured it out to find red stuff at the bottom.I went to report it to a worker and they gave me another banana🤬🤬Bad service,Bad staff and bad food.Get them shut down or taken over by someone how knows how to run a McDonalds

Place was absolutely filthy. Bins overflowing, floor and tables dirty.

Food was okay for a maccies but honestly the place was filthy, bins were overflowing tables were covered in rubbish no one was clearing stuff away. was just trying to have a quick pick me up during the monthly shop ended up feeling like I did a cleaning shift for them with how much work I had to put in to clearing one sad table for me and my daughter. the staff clearly don't care for the cleanliness of the place

The night shift is the worst service imaginable. Never been a straight forward service... always delays, wrong orders always understaffed

Ordered delivery, delivered by deliveroo. Food was cold and squashed, delivery driver didn't speak English so was unable to communicate.

Food & Milkshake quality have gone so low I refuse to eat from here now. From half cooked chips & all the flavour on top of your milkshake, so by the time you get into it properly, all the flavour is gone... then the Burgers being nothing like they are in the pics & the taste is lacking now. That is even if your order is processed by somebody that has time for you with a small smile, good manners & that they are not having a laugh with their friend & messing up your order. Fast Food... the clue is in the title. Feb 2025 - I finally got a milkshake, I ordered a large being as I have waited a long time to get one as the machines seem to constantly be broken... more like they can't be bothered to clean them. Multi billion pound franchise that is losing who knows how much extra profit by not selling shakes & other products that use the same ice cream machines. So anyway, I finally got a nice large strawberry shake & got home. I opened it up to mix it up as all the flavour was at the top & when I opened it up, the top quarter to maybe just under half was throffy bubbley mush & not ice cream. It's kind of like when you buy a coffee latte that has that pointless throff on top that takes half the cup space to charge you for a full cup. This is now what McDonald's is doing with their Shakes, you know, like charging you for a large Coke but giving you three quarters of a cup because you don't want ice. These places are a joke! The greed is unreal. It's like they're worried they're about to run out of money. They make hundreds of millions, if not billions, daily yet rip us off for not having ice or scrimping off the top of the shakes by making it throffy at the top quarter. If you sold the shakes year round, then you would make plenty of profit, not that you don't make plenty anyway. So, as of now, I am done with that branch at the top of Newcastle,Shields Road, Byker NE6 I will see how the other branch works, which is right out of the way for me, but atleast I will get what I pay for. If that is the same, then I will just use Burger King. Their food is better anyway & you make your own drink in there. It's just a bit of a drive to get to that is why I use McDonald's. Sick of being ripped of by this branch.

This maccies used to be ok, but it’s really gone downhill the last few years. Long delays at the drive through while orders are prepared, and frequent errors in the orders - usually missing items. I wish it was better as it’s in handy location.

Had to star as one as can’t go any lower. After a very long day in hospital this was the only place open to grab food. Went to drive thru wer we sat and waited about 5 mins before anyone even acknowledged us. When we asked for the meal deal we were told they don’t do a meal deal (!!h we tried to explain we wanted the burger, fries and a drink deal to be told they don’t offer meal deals. Even though we’ve had them before and it’s all over the place advertising them! We asked for the the plant burgers, fries and a mil shake…guess what they don’t do milk shakes either so had to get water and Pepsi (or what passes as it) and then waited… And waited, while they messed around and finally got our order even though the place was practically deserted as it was midnight. Got home, tired and hungry after 9 hours in A&E to find they’d given us what I can only describe as cold, fried sick in a bun! Yes it was the other veggie burgers. We were too tired to complain so went to bed tired and hungry. Haven’t for a photo of the food but here is one of the meal deals that McDonald’s apparently don’t do

I ordered this at 11 pm and waited for 4 and a half hours for delivery and had gone to bed was woken up the courier who was even at my neighbours instead of my house I don't think its acceptable to wait that long for four burgers

I found a rock in my Big Mac and almost chocked there was a group off scary boys looking at me the whole time and I felt my pants get wet I then stood up and left and they started laughing at me turns out my white pants where now brown wouldn’t recommend

First mcdonalds we have had in a while that everything was hot. Staff were friendly too.

Paid for a large meal and got a small chips. Complained and then got handed a large chips which were cold and tasted like cardboard. The car in front of me also needed to have their chips "topped up" so keep your eye out. Chicken selects were warm but no ice in the drink. I'll try a different McDs next time I'm in Newcastle

delivery driver was very abusive to me on the phone because he couldn't find my house when it was clearly on the order and there were items missing ie drinks

I live in hope that this place actually manages to follow the simple instructions given to them and deliver everything you ordered! I’ve not once had a complete order when ordering for delivery.

The time constantly Changed between 0:55/1:15 and 1:00/1:30 for delivery. Ordered a cheese burger and mc chicken sandwich meal . My food was cold and they forgot to include the chips within my meal .

Took over an hour, food was freezing and out of £32 worth of food we got chips, chicken nuggets and a wrap. Most of the order was missing.

I go here every Friday morning after my appointment around 9:30am. I order an egg mcmuffin and 2 hashbrowns, the hashbrowns are always crisp and hot and the muffin is also fresh. I travel for work in the week so I visit multiple McDonalds and this is the only one where I never have a bad experience. Staff are also fast and friendly also. I'm equal distance to this one and Silverlink but I find this one to be much better quality. Keep it up!

This is not the USA it's the United Kingdom a customer driven society who doesn't need cheap burgers and vegetarian wraps that recently I threw out for the seagulls!? MacDonald's seems to have lost touch with quality ingredients and service ...I know this; the ceos won't be eating their own foods they'll be eating the very best foods with natural organic ingredients! And how many Amazonian trees were cut down last year for the cattle ranchers!? An area that needs full military protection by all the worlds governments! Each tree there should be priced at a dollar or pound or euro and then every one would invest in the trees and the funds profits could go towards an army to protect the forests borders and the previous tribes that inhabit their own lands not ours or some conglomerate without a recognisable name? Come on Big Mac board members let's transform your eateries and save the forests and seas or what will the world have left in 20 years time!?

Absolutely joke. They can't handle orders and cancel all the time. Put an order in, waited 2 hours only for them to cancel and the agent said it was because they're now closed. They were still open on the app and open till 5am....

I ordered 2 breakfast with 2 hash browns and a pop .. I only received 1 breakfast and one hash brown n no pop

Quarter pounder has no bacon and not cooked properly we have received no fries with our MEALS, both burgers were freezing cold, the Big Mac pattys weren’t even put in the bun. Took an hour to be “prepared” and it wasn’t even made properly

bad mcdonalds , was working in the area so ended up going here 3 nights in a row , food didn't get any better , cold chips everytime and one of the nights they didn't have any chicken wouldn't go here again unless desperate

It took more than 10 minutes to get through the drive through this morning for a coffee at 7am. Witnessed one staff member trying to get things done and at least five standing around chatting. Had to wait at both hatches for service even though the coffee was ready to hand over. Inept management and definitely not customer focussed.

After firstly waiting so long for food to arrive and estimated delivery times changing multiple times even tho my driver was supposed to be in store waiting for my food. Upon arrival my food was cold&ice had melted leaving watered down pop.
