The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Basildon East of England

I think it would be fair to say this is among the best fish and chip shops I've been to. I can particularly compliment the cod, the chips, the cod roe and the battered sausage, although others in my party also recommend the skate and the pies. In general the fish is always tasty, and the batter is exactly my favourite consistentcy. Chips being an integral part of fish and chips, I'd like to particularly mention that the chips here are consistently great, which as a person that prefers chips without salt is a big bonus! Finally, service is always very quick, and if every I get delivery it's always similarly speedy.

Served an undercooked pink chicken burger. Threw it all away immediately. Absolutely disgusting 👎🏻

Came in around 10pm... just finished work tired and spaced out, slow at ordering... but Tia was kind and patient... very approachable and welcoming

Ordered 4 meals today, large cod and chips, small cod and chips, battered sausage and chips and finally savaloy and chips. Unlike normal chip shops Churchill chain has moved to boxes rather than wrapped paper and the volume of chips is very small. Boyind this process issue today's offering was poor in terms of quality of chips and fish. Tasteless/oily batter and tasteless fish. Altogether poor. Avoid more for the systematic portionissue but quality today was shockingly bad.

Terrible service! Jumped up young lady on a power trip clearly had no concept of what subway ‘make it your way’ actually means! Wasn’t allowed salad because her picture didn’t have any. And so rude. Avoid avoid avoid Saturday afternoons.

The meat was cooked twice, so it was burnt and sooooooo greasy, completely inedible. The only thing that was nice was the pizza, and even that tasted like it had plastic cheese on it. And the chips have clearly been bought from Tesco/Asda, they were over cooked and extra extra crispy. I was going to phone and complain, but all these places ever say is, we can send some more food out, and that's no good when half if have eaten and the other half are waiting for food to be delivered again. We will not ordering from here again 😡

Just moved back to UK. My little kids are from Cambodia and they are fussy. We've eaten numerous takeaways here and my kids ask for this chicken all the time. Quality!
