Wickford Grill in Basildon

Paid 16pounds for a lamb shish combo with Cofty. The meat is tasteless. No chips no rice nothing with it 16 quid. What a joke not even chips. You go to plush you pay 21 quid. How do you get coleslaw rice salad, pitta bread, different sources at the taste is amazing never ordering from here again.

Waited for nearly 2 hours because it was busy. Food arrived cold and tasteless, two meals nearly £30 because of delivery fee and was terrible!

Great mixed kebab. Ordered by phone. Delivered straight away. Good value for money. Delicious food. Highly recommended.

Second time in around 4- 6 weeks that wrong order delivered..and was already 15 minutes later than the suggested time of delivery. Have used them previously but won't be using them again...and what was delivered was cold anyway.

Really good food and great guys !

This place never fails to hit the spot. My go to is their chicken shish wrap, but they do everything so well that where I might typically swerve lamb doner, they do it so well that it has become the one place I say yes

Ordered a takeaway for 3 of us. Had to wait over 35mins for tepid and tastless food. Whe we got home tjere is a salad missing and a protion of fries. I've been using Wickford grill for years, never again.

Lovely kebab fresh and tasty , large dinner and chicken shish , friendly and cooked off the grill highly recommend

Went to visit with my mate Sam and like always, they didn’t disappoint! My order came quick and the staff were extremely friendly, love to go collect my order and have a nice chat always. It was a medium sized chicken kebab, small meat feast pizza and garlic bread cheese with pizza base and it honestly looked and tasted amazing 🥹 Their portions are really generous and honestly would recommend for anyone around the area to have a try.

The food is very nice but, in my opinion ,for the kebab they should put the bread separately not together with the salad and meat . Also the grilled chicken had the taste of lamb ,they could probably gill it separately and not together with the lamb as probably there are people (like me) who does not like lamb.

We’ve been regular customers for two years when we moved to Wickford. Every Friday we get a the sone dishes. For the last three months we’ve noticed the quality had dropped considerably. We’ve had meat delivered that smelled and tasted a week old which was disappointing. We look forward to Fridays so we can get a good takeaway. Unfortunately they’ve lost out business. Tonight’s meal was awful. Halloumi didn’t taste like halloumi but cheap imitation. Kofte tasted old and badly cooked. Lamb was chewy and fatty. It put us off from ordering from Marmaris again.

First and last time i would order from these !!! Charged me £15 for a cold chicken shish kebab !!! Driver shouting and swearing very intimidating !!! Discusting behaviour reporting this to trading standards

Decent food, but watch out for getting short changed! Twice recently they have tried to give me change for a tenner when I have gave them £20. When I’ve pulled them up they say it’s been a long day, no apology

No stars!!! FOOD POISONING I had a Doner kebab yesterday with my mum and we have been throwing up for the past 17hours!!! Non stop never felt so Ill in my life. Never will I eat from this place again.

Absolutely disgusting all my food sat in a bag waiting for 10 mins for my small pizza to b cooked! And then to get home to soggy food chips and a under cooked pizza! Never again will I b eating from there

Service was quick and friendly and food arrived soon after. Chips were nice, crispy and hot. Kebab was also tasty and good portion size. Loads of salad and the chilli sauce had a nice bite to it. My only complaint was the amount of grease.

Delivery times getting worse every time

Regularly seems to be getting worse, chips were soggy and brown like they were 3 days old and still being cooked and sent out, chicken kebabs were just thrown on pita, impossible to pick up and eat, even after explaining what salad to put on it 3 times they still get it wrong!!! Used to be good place to eat bit won't be wasting my time or money on them anymore!!!

Order came quickly some was missing, had to call lots of times to be told 5 mins nearly an hour later it turned up and then is was wrong ruined our meal would not recommend

They forgot half our order. I ordered a chicken fillet burger and the bun was hard and had little bits of Green onit. The food was cold, and wasn’t very nice either. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here. I certainly wouldn’t go back. After my meal i had a dodgy stomach. Please think and read this before getting food from here.

A good kebab shop. Nice juicy flavoursome meats, all cooked fresh, salads are all fresh.. Nice pizzas ( Donner meat pizza below) and burgers aswell for a good price. Friendly staff.. For a takeaway kebab definitely worth a visit.

I've recently had the lamb doner and chicken shish which was absolutely delicious. Also I've never tasted another garlic bread cheese like this any where else. I went in to collect my food and it was being made fresh and collection time limit was good. I will be coming back again very soon. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work!

Never order on a weekend they can not keep up with high demand.... I was told a hour and half it ended up being a 3hour wait. I was ready for bed before it turned up. I am a regular and when I opened my food it was half the size it is normally and not cooked enough also covered in greace

I visited this kebab shop recently, and I had the best service from their staff but as well as this the food was extraordinary. The pizza was nice and fresh and the mixed shish kebab was fresh and tasty. I would advise this place and will be returning soon. Thank you.

Told 40 minutes for collection, when I got there they had not even started to cook it. Had to wait in shop (or outside) quite a while (due to customers social distancing). Not acknowledged until 10 minutes and was just fed up! Their prices seem to be different every time I go, they have increased prices a lot too. Too many old menus now as keep putting prices up. Hard to keep track! Will probably not be back as too expensive now!

This place is incredible, they have really large portions on their kebabs and their cheesy chips are honestly the best. I get my food delivered and it always arrives in around 45 minutes, they’re fast and the quality is still the same, very delicious. I recommended everyone to eat from here

Ordered delivery, told 1 hour wait, 2.5 hours later I was still told 20 mins. Cancelled order and will never order again. Waste of fine do not bother. Ended up with toast at 9.45p instead of what I ordered for delivery at 8. Joke!!!

We often use the Wickford Grill for Kebabs or Pizzas but they do have a big menu that also includes burgers etcI usually ask for delivery and they normally quote up to 1 hour but the wait is worth it for their very tasty food.
