The best restaurants serving Fast food food in East of England

From the many many reviews we have written in our lives, my wife and I have never written a negative one until now. If we could give a '0' rating to this Subway, in Turner Rise Retail Park, we would. My wife ordered a Steak and Cheese Sub and was very excited to add on lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños and cucumber (which has always been a highlight of being able to order from Subway). However, when her sandwich came out of the oven, the man who made it began to immediately put it in a bag. When she asked him to add the other items to the sandwich, he replied "No. It comes with these onions and cheese." She looked at him in shock and said "Wow! Are you kidding me?" AND he responded "No" and continued wrapping the sandwich without any of the other ingredients I politely asked for. We have been ordering from Subway for years and years and have never been told we could not have the salad items to put on the sandwich we ordered - until today! The man who made her sandwich at 2.30pm today (28th Jan 24) was rude and blatantly told her "No" when it would have only taken him less than 10 seconds more to add the extra items. INCREDIBLY POOR SERVICE AND WE WILL NEVER COME TO THIS SUBWAY AGAIN and it has actually now cast a shadow over the whole Subway experience for us.

Couldn't be more stupid if they tried!!! Ordered and selected pay by cash. Driver brings food and says its already been paid for. So were honest and tell him bill needs to be paid. Driver doesn’t have change and apparently cant bring change back either as thats clearly a challenging difficult request!!! So takes food away. WTAF!!!!

Horrible chips. Cold, chewy and scabby. They had obviously been around for several hours and reheated at least once. The service was poor, to compliment the food.

Awful staff - muggings regularly happen outside this establishment and CCTV camera apparently never works. Unsafe place to visit after dark. Avoid!

Just moved back to UK. My little kids are from Cambodia and they are fussy. We've eaten numerous takeaways here and my kids ask for this chicken all the time. Quality!

Went in for a snack yesterday, 2 pieces of Chicken and fries came to £6.99 Absent minded I handed over a Tenner and went and sat down, the guy behind the counter found me and handed me my change which I had forgotten. Honesty and integrity is still alive!

I had the best drink ever(Cherry DPZero).The staff are so friendly. Applause and respect!

I was sent a mouldy pitta bread. Not only were the portion sizes considerably smaller than they have been before, I was also sent a mouldy pitta bread. Will not be ordering from cosmos again!

The food is good but overpriced. They give you free fountain drinks which is plus. Sometimes the machine is empty. The place is very crowded but occasionally you can find a place to sit down. There is this food court, benches sometimes don't charge your phone, gotta charge it in the hallways by the shower and toilet. The airport doesn't do good gate checks upon arrival.

Called in for a big tasty meal good as normal. Ordered for 3 of us yesterday order all correct and tasted good, we were even able to get milk shakes which can be very hot and miss in any McDonald’s.

Muy ocupado, la comida estaba fría y tenía que conseguir re - hecho. Entiendo que estás ocupado, pero el personal parece que no le importa! Sé que McDonald’s es una cadena popular de comida rápida, pero con la popularidad de la misma, esperarías que entiendan lo ocupados que pueden estar.

Usually i would go here after work as it’s the only 24 hr one. Why did i pay for large meals to receive just the burgers. Fries are the best part

Don’t use this McDonald’s got a £60 car parking fine spent 35 minutes there never saw any signs but have to admit wasn’t looking for any as you don’t expect to pay

Empty restaurant and 2 cars in drive thru but still took 20minutes to get my food from counter (shocking service considering its supposed to be a fast food restaurant) got home to cold fries lukewarm coffee and burger that looked as if it had been run over won't be using these again, no staff attending the counter or even checking customer to make sure everything is fine, in my opinion the customer service is appalling and looks like no training has been given in that area or in the preparation areas either just so shocked at the level of service for such a supposed highly regarded franchised company
