The best restaurants serving Fast food food in East of England

Awful. Ordered doner and cheesy. Chips! Came within 10 minutes it was cold. No cheesy chips salad and no sauces in sight. Wouldn’t be surprised if i get the shits!

This is a good spot for a party . But I would say I feel like it is always rushed because of the fine .you might want to go into the play area which brings me to the next thing the play area becomes boring and it is quite dirty also going down the slide hurts !

This evening myself,my partner and my brother visited and had the worst possible experience We came and the place looked closed but we went to the doors and the staff were cleaning. We was welcomed by a friendly chapp who said sorry they was getting 1 part of section closed early but we could sit anywhere on the other side So We ordered and sat down the food was up on screen and ready in under 5 minutes of choosing paying and sitting down. We thought was very quick but didn’t think what we would be given would be as diabolical as it was. First they had no beans which was fine so asked what I’d like instead I said I’ll just have another portion chips please to be given some on the side and when gave squashed the pack and hand given to me I said sorry these are not hot could I get a fresh hot set they took round back threw back in fryer and put extra salt etc on them They then was given back and was awful . I then sat down and my brother was eating his and said was cold but he is that hungry that he would eat it My partner in the other hand has phobia of cold meat and chicken in her meal and it was stone cold. She asked for some hot chips and if they could redo the chicken as was cold they said they couldn’t and if we didn’t like to give food back and they would give a refund on only part of food. I sat and tried eating my burger and I just couldn’t bring myself to even swallow it not only was it cold the chicken was not cooked the hash brown inside was like it was still frozen And I spat it out. We then decided enough was enough and wanted a refire on food this rude girl behind counter called amy shouted at us and said if you want fresh food don’t ask woody come up here (woody being the friendly chape who was very friendly and respectful and was so helpful we didn’t want to make a fuss but this point I wasn’t being spoken to like this I wasnt in wrong for asking simply for hot food. We picked up all the food and brang it back to the counter like was Asked and the manager whose name is fern was so rude and didn’t give a toss that we had spent money in her franchise and had the worst experience we told her we wasn’t trying to make a fuss at first and wanted hot food but that wasn’t good enough the attitude on this women was so bad how is she a manager . I work closely with food myself and know these standards are not safe I will be questioning the company for there food temp sheets for this evening as I know full well the food they sent out was not cooked. I will never step foot back in this franchise and will decide to head to Colchester if I ever want kfc again as I never have an issue with that one. This amy girl was shouting at woody for giving us good customer service and because I shook his hand and thanked him as he was the only one who was genuine and helpful. This gentlemen could do without working under such poor management and if a job comes up I would be employing him tommorow on my team as he is what I look for in my staffing team.

I love huckleberry chicken this the best chicken shop in the world. The staff are very nice and the food was extremely tasty. I recommended it to everyone i knew. It was scrumptious.

.... why do they cook enough chips to feed a coach load and the chips are left to go cold and soggy. The Manager (was wearing a white shirt) tried to give me cold chips, I refused to take them, he wasn't happy, but I got freshly cooked ones

Visited the canvey island KFC on 19/12/24 evening time this kfc has problems nearly every time we visit the next day you get stomach cramps this is not every time but last night was no exception today bad stomach cramps yet again last time we go in there never again they must have a hygiene problem for sure

I had a cheeseburger and a coke the food was fine but some of the chips were cold but the rest was nice will go back

Put cheese on subway for someone with specific dietary restrictions when it was not ordered. Have been unable to contact them via phone or email.

Have been served the word portion of chips ever, cold, half portion and not even salted. Will not be returning in the future.

Definitely the worst McDonald’s in the UK, can’t put simple orders together, never have milkshakes machine working, orders are always wrong 9 times out of 10, always blame Uber, and Uber blames them, food is always cold and to a poor standard, definitely not good quality fast food, Manager Josh is wetter than the lettuce in there, absolutely useless, very poor management from him, refused a refund or to even replace the order even though I had proof, Never will go there again

I was here with my partner and 11 month old for a pit-stop on the way to family for Christmas. After spending 150 quid on food and fuel we tried to leave but a traffic jam had formed all the way from the main road right into the car park so after sitting in stationary traffic in the carpark we decided to wait it out back in the services. The traffic eventually cleared and we left exactly 2 hours and 34 mins after arriving. I know this because when we got home after Christmas a parking charge was waiting for me issued because I didn't pay for my 34 minutes over the free two hours. Never mind that I spent 150 quid there, never mind that I'm a regular visitor, and never mind that I was physically unable to leave the site which constitutes a frustration of contract. I appealed under mitigating circumstances, it was rejected. I appealed to the adjudicator POPLA, it was rejected. I brought the to the attention of moto services director Ken McMeikan to let him know his customers were being ripped off by predatory parking frim CP Plus aka Group Nexus and was told it was nothing to do with them. I'm appealed at the way they've handled this.

Ordered the food for delivery through Uber eats. The food was sat at the restaurant ready, 20 mins before the driver collected it. Cold drinks were packed in with the food. The food was cold and the chips were like cardboard. The order was also wrong. Absolutely useless.

With a limited amount of time available before our flight we attended the airside B.K. at Stansted. The digital display stated a 7 minute wait for food, however after waiting in excess of 30 minutes it was necessary to abandon any thoughts of breakfast & as the kiosk that I had used till roll was out of paper I was unable to get a refund & I'm out £23. Bad experience & I'll never go back.
