Horrible service, slow, lady and clumsy staff, avoid this place by all means. Average time says 8 minutes...múltiples that by 6 at least....

One of the worst Burger King outlets I have visited. Food cold, tables filthy and crammed into an area by the arrivals exit. Rubbish everywhere and there didn’t seem to be anyone clearing up. Yes, put it down the people not tidying up but the waste bins were crammed to the top. It used to be a great BK but certainly has gone down in a matter of a year or two.

The place is filthy, but can’t really expect any better from Burger Kings around UK in all honesty. Our food was average at best, but what urged me to write this review was a BK employee walking around with a QR code in hand asking people to review them. We also spotted another guy falling for it and the employee went next to him to watch him write the review. Just made for an entirely uncomfortable experience.

Made the mistake of visiting this filthy establishment after a flight, and in anticipation of a late arrival home we decided to eat before leaving. Food was barely warm, service was poor with what seemed like a small child continuously calling out order numbers. I appreciate the high footfall at the location, and obviously customers could keep their end of the bargain and tidy up a bit, but there's absolutely no excuse for the complete lack of any effort to clear up a bit. The place was absolutely disgustingly filthy, no cleaners around at all, heaps of rubbish, old food, and pools of sticky drink on every surface. Left most of our food and got out as soon as possible, not worth the obligatory one star.

Member of staff changed my order from normal to xl without telling me. Expected me to pay the £10 just for the burger, which was cold, and I then found what looks very like a mouse dropping in it. Refused to change it saying ‘that’s all we have’ and refused money back as no manager was available.

How is it possible, if food is made to order to be barely warm? I ordered a breakfast roll and hash browns, all floppy and almost cold, I gave up before I was way through as it was so vile, I spent the next 24 hours vomiting and diarrhoea, never again! There are obviously some serious issues at this place that either the management or company need to look into

Very poor, all but 3 of the ordering machines were not working. I ordered a plant based burger but received an over cooked rock hard bean burger, staff argued with me when I returned it eventually telling me they don’t serve the plant based burger anymore, he offered me a vegan chicken burger which I agreed to, this arrived within seconds, which made me suspicious as vege burgers usually take longer to prepare, one bite and I knew it was NOT a vegan burger it was a chicken burger! I returned this burger the staff got very cross and tried to convince me it was a vegan burger, he then aggressively threw it in the bin when I asked for a refund. 15 minutes later and with help from his manager I allegedly received my refund, I was told it would be in my account in 24hrs and it hasn’t arrived! Surprise surprise!! Avoid if you can!

Burger King is comparatively expensive (McD cheaper and better) and there is nothing good here. There self card machine does not work properly. The staff is poorly trained and rude. They don't check whether proper quantity as ordered by guests is given to them or not. For instance, if you order chilli cheese shots 9 pieces or more then they will pack lesser quantity for you. (eg., when ordered 9 then they pack 6-8, even if you caution them about it at the time of placing order). Careless people.

Stopped here for a snack before departure, ordered vegan nuggets. They served us cheese/chilli balls instead. Once I bit into one and realised, I swiftly returned them and assumed it was just an honest mistake, so didn't make a big deal, only then to be handed chicken nuggets (not vegan). I returned them again, and eventually I got the vegan nuggets. Not a single apology from the staff. Hesitantly but hungry, we stopped here again upon our return to the airport a few days later and ordered vegan nuggets again. When my order was ready, I asked them to check these were vegan nuggets, to which they said yes. In this case I was in a hurry and didn't think to check before I left. Once I finally got round to eating them, I found that they were chicken nuggets, not vegan, again. Absolutely horrific service, do not recommend at all and will not be returning.

We went here at about 10:30pm. It took about 20minutes to receive our meal, and it was quite quiet. The tables had lots uncleared trays, dirty and waste over the floor. Clearly understaffed. Also had no tomato ketchup!

It is probably totally unfair to the Burger King chain and the people working at this particular outlet, but this is clearly not the place where you can have a pleasant meal, however quick that may turn out to be. Sometimes, however, you are just a captive customer depending on where you happen to find yourself, and what is left to you is just to hope that next time will be better.

세트메뉴 두개, 23파운드 결제 승인 문자 날아오고 돈 빠져나간것 확인까지 했지만, 카드리더 문제로 주문 접수가 안됨. 매니저에게 문의 해보니 캐셔에 주문이 접수안됐다고 그냥 햄버거 하나 줄테니 먹으라는듯 주문한 세트메뉴들도 아닌 버거 프라이 1세트를 대충 선심쓰듯 먹으라고 주며 이야기 하길래 굉장히 기분이 나빳습니다. 은행 출금 내역을 보여줘도 확인 못한다고 그러던 말던 새로 주문하라는 늬앙스로 대응하길래 카드 승인 이의제기 하기로 하고 그냥 나왔습니다. 매장 결제 기기문제로 트러블 이 생긴걸 나몰라라 별생각 없어 보입니다. 작은 돈이야 돌려받던 사기 당했다 생각하고 포기하면 상관없지만. 매장 매니저의 대응을 보니 버거킹 자체를 다신 가기 싫어지네요

Burger King, home of the (expensive but…) good sized, flame grilled burger…always better than McDonalds…or at least it was Not had one for a while so today I indulged. HUGELY disappointed, it’s shrunk to a faint shadow of its former self…a diminished sized bun and patties, the thinnest slice of bacon and translucent thickness cheese made it a snack and not anything like a meal…so small that the tiny and barely half filled cappuccino cup only just washed it down. Well done on demolishing your credibility in one hit. My last visit….

The chips were fine but that's where it ended. I had the new chicken with bacon. Tiny, looked like the fridge fell over on it. And don't start me on the drinks dispenser, 99% water and I think the rest was yellow fizz but honestly couldn't taste anything, same with the Dr. Pepper. I needed a doctor after eating this

Non andate mai più da bugger king in aereoporto, piuttosto morite di fame. Servizio pessimo, mi hanno addebitato soldi per un ordinazione mai partita, mi avevano assicurato che i soldi sarebbero tornati in 24h, invece ora dal conto vedo che hanno preso i soldi e non me li hanno restituiti. State attenti perché sono dei ladri, non solo fanno dei panini di qualità scadente ma ti rubano pure soldi in più con la scusa che la il sistema ha avuto un blackout.

First time I ordered the plant based double bacon burger it came up as a single, but I was in a hurry and just took it, expensive veggie burger, a week later ordered it again, again get a single so went back, got a double a couple of minutes later, but no vegan bacon, couldn't be bothered going back again, very poor.nothing like photo, no lettuce, tomatoes, just a double p b burger no bacon, not even sure if they bothered with vegan cheese or mayo at this point, can't even excuse that it was busy, it wasn't Won't be going to that again

A little bit overcrowded and very busy, like everything at the airport. The concept is the same as anywhere else - you pay before receiving the order, then wait for your number. Similarly, to other fast food places, the dining space could be a bit cleaner.

Firstly I would not call this a fast food outlet - considering its situated in an airport and people are on tight schedules! The service was very poor, by the time I received my hot drinks my food was cold and I had to ask for these to be replaced, more time wasted. My wife’s tea had a burst tea bag in it and she took it back and it was replaced but only after she had to ask an assistant to retrieve it from under the hot water machine as she went to serve someone else. Found staff not very competent. Other issue is cleanliness - this is an issue that needs to be addressed, dirty tables and very dusty surfaces around the tables. This is not an inexpensive meal but service did not match expectations. Normally we enjoy a hot and tasty Burger King but will definitely not be frequenting this branch ever again.

I love Burger King. I crave Burger King. I don't like "the other one" if you get what I mean! My experience in Sept at Stansted was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL and has cured me of my obsession. Well done. How anyone could describe this as food amazes me. It was inedible and went straight in the bin. My husband had to wait ages to be served. Total waste of money and a truly horrible experience. My pre flight experience was only rescued by 2 glasses of procecco elsewhere. I will never visit this food outlet again. Are Burger King happy to associate themselves with this franchise? Just a quick bite... Until you get to the ordering quiosques, over complicated! Both myself and a couple people in front of me couldn't wrap our minds around the process. Only after the second attempt I understood what was expected. It shouldn't be confusing, should be clear and efficient! Food came fast... But a lukewarm burger. Soft drinks dispenser froze! Second was on maintenance only third did the job. Plus the prices... strangely high, far from typical. A place I'll avoid in the future :-/

Absolutely filthy and the food is dreadful. The tables and surfaces are all sticky and unwiped. The low dividing walls between areas are covered in thick dust …. THICK dust! You can write your name in the dust. The seats have clearly not been wiped...

I don't understand why Stansted burger king over charges compared to other restaurants all over the country. A double cheeseburger is £2. Stansted BK will sell you one for £8. The prices are crazy. Auto order kiosks that don't give receipts and flash your order on screen for only a second incorrect order, queure again at a drinks machine - 2 out of 5 self service drinks machines working. No ice - warm coke. What a joke!!Sit down area is filthy. Do you know why McDonalds is the no. 1 fast food restaurant in the world?Because they do things right. after coming out of arrivals we went in to burger king for something to eat i ordered a chicken royal meal by the self service unforunately they dont do milk shakes here got my meal after 5 minutes chips were ok but the chicken royal burger was luke warm

This is one of the worst Burger Kings that I've been to. The Angus Burger is usually my favourite, and OK. But here it was grey and unappetizing with too much mayo. The chilli bites were leathery. Service was eloppy and couldn't care less attitude. Truly dreadful.

Spent £26 something on 3 meals.. staff seemed very lost, didn’t hand me the cups to help ourselves to the drink dispensers so I had to ask as we couldn’t stay long, she asked what my order was I told her and she still didn’t give the cups. People sitting in got there orders before take away. Finally got our food after waiting 10 mins, got on the coach to find things missing from meals..and COLD too. Waste of money!!

Ate here before departure what a mistake. You accept that it costs more in the airport because you are a captured audience but you do expect something a certain level of product, it’s Burger King surely it must taste as good as other restaurants, but this could not be further from the truth. It was tasteless, bland and poorly put together, not what you expect or want having been up early just wanted a nice breakfast - not from here, my wife took one bite and left the lot. Don’t waste you money.

There are like 30 customers queuing and three employees working, of whom two are in the kitchen. This store is way understaffed, which is something that you wouldn’t want in an airport, where time is always limited.

This has to be the worst food I’ve ever tasted my first order was totally wrong so I returned it to the counter and asked to speak to a supervisor to complain no apology just do you want more I said yes ,my order was correct but stone cold once again spoke to supervisor who basically said all the food is like this and it’s tough luck no offer of refund also the drinks from the machine where flat plus no ice. Solid burger King. Service was fast and food was warm. Would have got 5 but they ran out of dip. About a quid more expensive than a normal meal but they give you a big bottle of water if you change from the soft drink. I was buzzing about this because I was really thirsty.

Place was very clean as far as burger kings go. But god were they slow. You need to leave 3 hours before you flight to make sure you have time to wait for the food

Soggy cold fries, a bunch of items forgotten in the order. Unhelpful staff, barely grilled burgers sloppily put together, most sodas were empty in the soda machine. Employees more interested in chatting with each other than actually doing their job. A special mention to the old lady “drying” trays next to our table by first loudly banging them together, then running a wet rag over them and lastly smacking the still wet tray down in the stack of “dry” trays. She was banging away when we arrived, and still going at it when we left. It really added to the experience. I get that running a BK in an airport is like printing money, but you could put in a LITTLE effort in it. I would give a negative 5 if I could.

My wife and I had the Big Meal Burgers with fries and a cuppa tea. Service took about fifteen minutes in a totally empty place. Couple of tables cluttered and not wiped clean. The food cam, a bit dry, crushed burgers, and not really too hot. The price for the two of us was £19-98. Now I know it's an airport and we would have been a captive audience but at least if BurgerKing are going to overprice things then surely the staff should have to wear masks and speak in a "Pirate" accent. AAAaaaaaarrrrvgggghhhhhh !!

Quick food and easy ordering via the machines. We paid about £20 for two tiny burger meals though so not sure its best value for money - but then again, it is the airport so you can't expect too much

Went to the counter to order. Two people hanging about chatting. One turned to me and said ‘cash only here’ stared at me for a bit and continued chatting. I could have ordered from one of the computers, but why bother. There’s a reason it was empty. Went to Costa next door.

Arrived tired and hungry late at night looking for a tasty burger. Met our first hurdle in trying to order via the icon driven electronic kiosk. We wanted one burger meal and one plain burger. I had always thought of myself as tech savvy however the machine seemed to offer only meals which included chips and a drink. It had no way to add more than on item like an additional burger. Having cancelled my order three times I settled for one burger meal. I was then taken to the next screen on which you select your "freestyle" drink. In the fullness of time I found that this actually added an extra drink on top of the one included with the meal. Admitting defeat I paid up - an overpriced £11.98.Food delivery wasn't exactly customer orientated. My order number shouted out by an unsmiling individual and my tray was pushed towards me. Next collect you drink! The self service drinks machine is again icon driven - select your drink, push the cup in and get a cup full of ice!!! Only then do you see the flashing light to actually dispense the drink!!Returning to my wife who had found a dirty cluttered table I offered our meal for two and explained why it was only a meal for one with an extra unwanted drink!!!The meal itself was tasteless and the bun dry. If the burger had seen a flame grill I suspect that that was at some offsite kitchen and it had been microwaved before serving. We left half of the food and headed to M&S Food for a sandwich to take home.All in all an unpleasant experience and one I will not repeat.

Usually I avoid BK because I prefer another brand of fast food.Was really hungry when I landed so I decided to give BK a go and am glad I did.My BK Double with fries was hot, tasty, served quickly and really hit the spot. Twice I've eaten here and both times it's been appalling. The first time or order was wrong 3 times, then when it was finally correct it was barely warm. The second visit, the muffin was rubber and the burger was again barely warm... You think I'd've learnt my lesson the first time

Burger King is Burger King; what you see is what you get. Very quick service and helpful staff however at this one, so hence the five stars.

Not the best quality of restaurant for sure, but there doesn’t seem to be much wrong with the food. Decent burger, no messing around with the gherkins, solid fries and four wholesome nuggets. Only thing that wasn’t great are the glitchy touchscreens from where you order. Otherwise, operation quell hunger post-flight: success.

Ordered our burger meals . Cold took back to complain. Given wrong burgers. Took back again given wrong cold burgers. On 4th attempt got right burgers at reasonable temperature. Overpriced terrible service I wish we had just bought a sandwich.!!!!!

Stood in front of the counter for 5 minutes without a single member of staff even acknowledging me. It was just me in the cue. The server did not even bother to take my order. I left and went next door to Leons and had some food. Burger king loss Leons gain. If any manager looks at this review please check your cctv at around 19:30 - 20:00 on the 11th Feb and you will see for yourselves. There was also some person sat/laying on the counter cleaning her shoes. Employee? Customer? Anyway very very disappointed.

I'm trying to think how I can describe this place in a polite qay... Zero sense of urgency, zero customer service skills, zero cleanliness. I watched 4/5 burgers come back whilst I was queing up... Still stuck it out and I was served by a fella Named claudio... At least I think that's what his poorly hand written name badge said, who I can only assume had just been for a massive joint on his break. I asked if I could have a crispy chicken bacon king but with salad too he said yes I can have it with salad, I checked back to make sure it would come with salad, he again said yes as he picked up a ready made burger from the the pile, I said has that one got salad in again, he looked back at the overheads and said yes the crispy chicken does have salad (indeed it does claudio, except I want a crispy chicken bacon which does not usually come with salad) of course I took it to the table, opened it and unsurprisingly there was no salad, I took it back and he shortly returned with a very messily put together burger now with salad... It was a Luke warm burger at this point I ate it and left, couldn't be bothered with more hastle

The place is filthy, the food was disgusting, and one staff member kept clutching at his groin then touching people’s food. Certainly left an impression, as either the worst or second worst place I’ve ever eaten!

You can't go wrong with a classic bacon cheeseburger...can you? The answer is yes - dry, tasteless and expensive.

Overpriced as to be expected in an airport- but don't expect to get a nice cold drink with your meal! Drinks machine had ice and several drinks unavailable, which we were not told before ordering so had to pay for a warm drink we don't like! Burger was as tepid as the drink and service was miserable. Won't bother in future, will be getting a sandwich from costa next door instead!

On my way home and late arrival, so grabbed a Bacon Double Cheeseburger XL and small fries Offered a drink, so explained I didN’t want one... told it was cheaper to buy the meal than the burger and small fries....in a hurry so I accepted this. Totally untrue and dishonest it is more expensive! This is I believe called “upselling” and lying to get the sale is VERY poor practiceGrabbed package and dashed off to catch my bus, just enough time to eat burger in queue. Burger was charred, both were black incinerated crispy lumps of cremated inedible meat. There was no way the staff could have actually thought it was acceptable. Chips were better, but cold and only just manageableSo I was lied to, and overcharged for my order which was inedible Avoid, it may be convenient, but the whole ethos of this branch from the dishonest staff to the serving of obviously inedible food is something that should be boycotted

Food was bland and very pricey. Tables not cleared and wasn’t even busy. Will not return anytime soon

I got off an international flight hungry and desperate for something warm and was really anticipating chomping down on some fast food. BK was possibly the most disappointing airport restaurant I've been to, and that's saying something. There was trash everywhere with no one looking particularly interested in cleaning up - trays were sitting everywhere for the entire duration we were at the restaurant. Prices were horrible which is par for the course at airports, fair enough, but for an inflated price I'd expect at least standard quality food. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. Here is a non exhaustive list of everything wrong with the food:- The burger was cold, with fatty, limp, chewy bacon. - The onion rings could have been mistaken for calamari. They were rubbery, bendy, squashed together in a lump and just flat out disgusting. They'd obviously been sitting there for quite a while prior, despite the restaurant being busy.- The chicken nuggets were doughy. Like uncooked batter kind of doughy. Ugh I can feel the consistency in my mouth as I'm typing this. This undercooked grossness will be a hard taste memory to scrub.- The fries were also cold and limp.- The coke, to quote my boyfriend, tasted like "dirty machine water", flavourless and pungent. By the sounds and tastes of it, they hadn't cleaned the machine in quite some time.We spent around £25 on a meal that was worth £2, if that. Out of time to go back and demand a refund, we left, and will be avoiding BK from now on.

Pretty poor in terms of keeping up with cleaning the tables and it wasn’t that busy. Not for me. Avoid.

very busy place but it doesn't take long to get down friendly staff nothing was a bother to them a bit dearer than other burger king but it's at the airport haha
