Only customer in the queue and still took 10 minutes to be served. Unfriendly, miserable and surly staff. Will not use again. Pitiful

I stopped here for a coffee and work while I waited for my flight from Stansted airport. It’s a nice calm and cool place.

Well known scam parking operating here by Met Parking who will try to issue you with £100 bill for parking. DO NOT USE THIS STARBUCKS

Slow as anything. Ordered drove round and just sat there for 5 minutes. Had to ask to make sure I had actually ordered. They then made my drink. No one behind me in the drive through and 4 people inside.

Did not make the drink correctly, no pumpkin cream intop, when I asked the barista about it they said that just how the drink is.. If I'm paying £6 for a coffee I would expect it to have all the stuff it's supposed to have. Not just topping it up with more milk.

The coffee was ok, staff maybe a bit tired. Anyway, luckly i did not seen the sign saying free car park for 60 minutes, and i paid for parking. What is annoying is the minimum you can pay is 2h....who needs 2 hours to drink a coffee?

Avoid this place at all costs as MET Parking services are operating a ridiculous con in the car park.

Had a really good experience unlike most I've been to such nice friendly staff especially the young girl who served me and my mum very respectful young lady Bella thank you my mum doesn't get out much and it was nice to see my mum smiling.

Car Park.Scam £100 for 35minutes.. I find 100s people caught out the same over 5 years in local and national press. Come on Starbucks sort this out or you will have no customers.left.

Parked here as I was desperate for the loo and went into Starbucks which says 'toilets for customers only' so I used McDonald's instead. When I came out a kind taxi driver told me I had to pay for the car park now otherwise I'd get a £100 penalty as they take photos of your car and you getting out of it! That's is basic infringements of your rights. Completely against GDPR and I will be taking this to a legal authority.

Now had 3 parking fines from MET Parking services for stays off 32 mins 28mins 22 mins. Clearly this is a scam STAY CLEAR OFF THIS SITE.

AVOID parking in here and/or use this premises! There is a huge parking scam issue in this place. Seems to be a dodgy place even if you literally park and walk out to next door McDonald's there. You can notice the bloody numerous AI-Facial recognition cameras they've got in place.

Disgusting practice if you park here and u as a driver go to starbucks but a passenger goes to mcdonalds, you get fined. If they didnt want people parking here they should do away with this robbery or better yet expand mcdonalds car park. Got fined even when starbucks was open

Could of quite easily been a a 5 star review, however this morning I used the drive thru at 9.24 on 31/7/24 and ordered a all day breakfast wrap with a Medium soya super free caramel latte. Unbeknown to me when I get 3 mile down the road I've got a semi skimmed sugar caramel latte. And to round it all up a wrap that tasted like I was chewing on a old bit of rubber.

They generate significant revenue from parking fines, employing people to monitor CCTV and issue penalties. It's a shameful reality.

The Drinks taste the same as any other place but baby the staff, all but maybe 1 quite girl, are a mess…. The one with the wide back and blonde hair cockney bird (and yea you know who you are your the biggest in the nest ) tried screwing up her face when my dad asked her a question about their piss stained toilets with one key to lock and unlock all? Then proceeded to look at her colleague as if my dad asked her waist size… then said “it’s 3pm… I’m off i need to go home” . Baby her bad built, ill shaped, un trained self needs to take a seat and stay there. Storming out like the baconator they are. You will come across a customer who will drag you.. and to the guy who works there too you need to stop letting these girls gather you up. Thinking your the dadada , when really your all womp womp wompppppppppppp. Being camp don’t give you a pass because baby youl get equally read. That’s all. Drink were delicious babes

Very slow service. Unprofessional and not organised at all. Wait 15 minutes for a Latte, and they do not even know the difference from warm and hot.

What a horrible place, even if you try to follow the rules. Bad customer service. If not for other helpful reviewers the parking rules are not clear. Distrusted the staff member and what they told us of the parking so ended up paying for that too. App didn't work first time, then on the second one when went to McDonalds. We popped in to this Starbucks as we were staying nearby. The staff don’t know about the NATIONAL free refill policy. We stated we wanted to stay in but they gave us takeaway cups. They did not know how to use a e-gift card for payment. You have to borrow a key to use the toilet. We asked for a receipt and weren’t given one. The drinks were ok but not good value.

Customer unfriendly place compared to the busy McDonald's next door. Parking at McDonald's is free, Starbucks £4.50 minimum pay for 2hrs stay. Toilets are locked, you need to buy something and then you can ask for the key. They are watching you, they will charge you, they don't like you. I don't mind Starbucks at all but this one is horrible. Not recommended 👎🫤 McDonald's next door is very busy but they can manage free toilets and parking. Come on Starbucks, you can do better!

The lady working here was so so rude!! I made an order with a guy who when I ordered I asked for a new drink they had on the menu, which was a creamy drink with flavourings but without the coffee. She made it for me with the coffee and when I said something she was soooo rude and tried to make me feel stupid shouting it’s a coffee based drink. To which I explained I asked when I ordered and if you can’t make it without the coffee then tell me and I would have ordered something different. She kept going on and on being all condescending and rude. Then when passing me my husbands late said that’s got coffee in it you know. Like I’m stupid. Stopped here to grab a coffee last Monday. Discovered they were closed so went to McDonalds instead. Lovely coffee from Mcd’s but just had a penalty charge for entering the Starbucks car park and not paying the charge. £100. The staff don’t make you aware you will be charged for getting a coffee. 5 different parking schemes who are not connected but seam to work together to squeeze as much money out of drivers without providing a service. As per the review from the previous reviewer, I would be VERY careful when using this site, as the franchise owners participate in a ‘scam’ parking scheme with their neighbouring McDonalds franchise and Met parking who monitor the whole site. If you proceed beyond the McD’s drive-through to park in the Starbucks end of the site to use McD’s here, you will receive a £60 fine if you don’t pay for parking when the sister franchise Starbucks is closed at night (if only for a few minutes). Met parking operate both sites and they and the owners clearly benefit from the tens of dozens of cars that innocently make this mistake every night without seeing the badly-lit signage and lack of road markings or barriers. There is a sign saying there are parking charges to the left of the Starbucks area, but you won’t see this at night, as it’s not lit up. And other signs say 60 minutes free parking. In the small print, they say this only applies when Starbucks is open. So do yourself a favour, do you really want to pay £60 for that late coffee at McD’s when you find that the Starbucks is closed?? Head somewhere else instead.

Best service ever today, coconut frappe with vegan cream was amazing. Niki was absolutely amazing and she has a really good customer service with good standards and same as the other girls they do really good coconut mocha lattes and anything with non dairy drinks. A contractor who works for Starbucks makes a business at night. If you do not want to pay a penalty and hate Starbucks in the future don't even bother to buy anything from them. They employ MET parking services to charge people when their business closes. It doesn't matter if you feel safe and want to rest for less than an hour in the empty parking they will charge you a penalty because the business is closed and the business parking continues. I've got twice from them penalties £100. I just want to make sure how much I hate your side business. selling coffee and sandwiches, not enough money for you from working hard customers. Ridiculous.

My go to coffee place which has been recently refurbished and looks and feels fantastic! Always spotlessly clean and the coffee refreshingly consistent. All the staff members are friendly, personable, helpful and good fun. Keep up the good work and I’ll probably see you tomorrow morning and the morning after and the morning after that! Paul

We ordered three latte's from the drive through. They had no coffee in them and unfortunately we couldn't turn around to return them. Very disappointed and wished we'd gond to McDonald's instead

After sitting and having a coffee I went to go to the toilet and found that I had to ask for a key... Felt like being in school "Please sir may I use the restroom" I get it, but it struck me as quite unfriendly...

WARNING - be careful where you park. This Starbucks colludes with the McDonald's next door to create parking fines if you park in spaces which are allocated for one store but park in another. It is almost impossible for a normal person to tell even if they read all the fine print. They will push you to a CCJ! This Starbucks has cameras that track where you walk across their car park. KEEP THE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET AND STAY AWAY.

They changed the toilet system which is really great. Its like having your home toilet. Very clean. Also atmosphere was nice but cannot say the same things for my coffee. It was very hot, I couldn’t taste coffee but I tasted burnt milk. If you have someone to pickup from airport, it’s good place to wait.

I've been here couple of times for coffee and wee but now toilet is with the key so you have to purchase before going to toilet. Looks that many people do not bother as all surrounding stinks like public loo.

Quick service and very helpful. Grace made 2 fantastic drinks for my daughter and her friend after they requested drinks from the American menu online! Thanks Grace and Alex who took the order - nothing was too much.

Came 20 minutes before closing toilets been blocked off with chairs so customers wouldn't be able to use them. After asking if I could use it I been told no. Awful service. To your knowledge as long as you serving your toilets should be accessible. If you trying to finish early then it means you should look for a job that suits you better if this hours don't fit you

Car Park scam do not use this park, advertised as services by signage from main road but if you stop in wrong Car park space and use wrong facilities on site you will be fined.

Parked nearer Starbucks than McDonalds and walked my daughter and friends to McDonalds to collect a takeaway so that they could order in there and have some time to choose. Parked for about 20 mins max and now have a fine for £60 for 'leaving the Starbucks car park'. This is a total scam and disgrace. Starbucks and McDonalds here should be ashamed of themselves allowing MET Parking to operate in this way. Won't be going back.

Worst Starbucks and the only Starbucks that doesn’t allow dogs. The waiters are extremely rude and they managed to make a 10yr and 12yr extremely mad because we had to leave our dog alone in the car. I definitely do not recommend this Starbucks!

No complaints directly with Starbucks service, quality of food and drinks, cleanliness or attitude of staff which were all to the highest standards you expect from Starbucks. However having spent over a £123 on snacks and drinks we have today been fined a £100 for parking for 1 hr and 10 minutes. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Guess who will never ever use Starbucks again

Car park fiasco just keeps on giving! When are Starbucks or McDonalds (on the same, but different site according to MET Parking) going to stop their customers being ripped off for £100 or more for parking! Misleading signage in a closed area is totally disgraceful!! Who cares about how "nice" staff are or what a "great" coffee, when you end up paying another £100 for it?

We would never visit this service again as parking is a total rip off and people get stupid fines if they park at Southgate Park car park, where Starbucks is located and walk next door to McDonald’s, or just go and stretch their legs. I can not believe the customer service we recieved today. I was speechless. 3 teenage girls working - chatting and giggling. Then a customer approaches the counter and the change is immediate. Miserable, rude, mumbling and impatient. I approached the young girl chatting and she looked at me like I was wasting her time. The girl that made my husbands coffee (because I refused to order one) placed it on the counter, didn't even look at him, and in the most obnoxious tone, announced it's arrival before going back to giggle with her colleagues. My husband is calm and nonchalant but even he was livid. Seriously starbucks, is this the level of customer service you provide now? You pay minimum wage to a bunch of kids to run the store into the ground? I can assure you, though we used to frequent often, that we will never be back. Costa it is.

I asked that my coffee had another shot of exspresso as it only was made with 2 shots and l drink it with 3. There were two girls working and one gave me a torrid of abuse and the other followed. The other customers drinking their coffee looked up in disbelief. It is shocking that Starbuck's hires individuals who do not know how to customer face appropriately. Utterly shocking experience. This was at 10:30 September 9th 2022.

Worst service I've ever received in a Starbucks. Ordered an iced vanilla latte and there no ice, which is disappointing yet understandable in 36oC heat, but that wasn’t the issue. The face on two of the girls in there because I had the ordacity to ask for the iced latte just without the ice because I didn’t want the hot milk in this heat. I asked if the were making it without the hot milk because she started frothing the milk. If looks could kill. She didn’t say a word just drew her eyes off me and make it the way I asked. I drank some as I left, without so much as a thank you or a goodbye. There was no vanilla. So I asked if there was vanilla in it. Another girl just scoffed at me “YES”. I asked if she could put some more in because I couldn’t taste any. She snatched it off me then put way too much in, I think to prove a point, and slammed it back down on the counter. If I hadn’t just got off a long flight and was as tired as I was I would’ve gone through the pair of them. Felt sorry for the new start that was taking my order. Good luck to you.

Gents toilet was absolutely filthy, dirty as engraved on the walls under the had dryer, the place smelt of urine, this was not just today the dirt has taken weeks or. On the to build up The tables we covered in crumbs, the place has 4 people in it so was not at a busy time

DO NOT GO THERE, unless you want to pay a £170 parking fine, regardless even if you spend 10 mins or 1 hour, eat in or take away, these scammers will send you a parking fine after 2 to 3 months later saying you have over stayed or you didnt purchase anything from Starbuks, you will not even get the original parking fine either from MET Parking services Stansted ( Total Scammers they dont even have a method of contact) instead you will get a letter from a debt collecting agency who will never ever answer your calls, they only have a payment line, i am victim of this scammers. Bad day at Starbucks with no hot water, so no chance of a cup of tea or an americano.

Filthy. Nobody cleaned the tables while I was there. The floor was strewn with litter. Toilets were also dirty and not serviced. It is also a drive through. Guess they have so little repeat business that they don’t care
