This car park is quite simple if you take the time to read the actual facts! It is clearly advertised as STARBUCKS CUSTOMER CAR PARK (not a free waiting zone to collect from the airport) 2 options, become a paying customer and receive 1 hour Free Parking OR Pay to Park via the RingGo App. If the store is closed then you MUST pay via the app. Follow these simple rules and you can walk anywhere! McDonald’s customers park in McDonalds Car Park. Simple! Starbucks to not run or gain monetary value from this car park. The rules are set by the Land Owners, who use MET to enforce these rules. A lovely big car park for the lovely customers of STARBUCKS! Very clear signage on posts and in windows of the store.

Do not go to this place, they will send you a parking ticket even if you go to buy a coffee, they make their money from parking tickets not from selling coffee😡

Parked here to get a coffee to have in & was issued a £100 parking fine, I paid cash for coffee & there is no video image of me conveniently, there wasn't even a ticket on the windscreen I just had fine through the post one week later ! This is disgusting & I'm taking this further especially since staff at Starbucks did not want to know ! I wouldn't be surprised if you get a ticket going for the drive through ! My advise is to avoid this place and go somewhere where there's free parking just incase !

Avoid this place, it's a trap designed to con you out of £60 or £100 for parking! There is supposed to be 1 hour's free parking here. I was parked for just 19 minutes in the dark one evening - and yet I've received a £60 charge from MET Parking Services, with the threat to increase this charge to £100 if not paid within 14 days, because I had not entered my vehicle registration into a machine - yet the parking sign is so dimly lit you cannot read the small print from a distance, only the line that says you can park for an hour. Avoid going there to avoid being ripped-off!

I got a very unfair parking fine for £60. It's not at all clear that the carparks for Starbucks and Macdonald's are considered separate

I stopped for a coffee, parking used to be free for 1 hour, I stood there for 59 minutes and paid a fine. Apparently they changed the parking time. So if the business is failing, you have to make money on the parking lot.

i being there so many times staff are not friendly and it’s saying 1 hour free to customer it’s not 2 weeks i got 4 pcn do not go there they’re so confusing people with the parking. It is not free parking for the customers because we are getting PCM. I’ll be inside the Starbucks. I’ll try to talk to staff explain to them why we get tickets they’re telling me it is different companies they’re not responsible for their customers. They don’t care about anything. They’re not helping anybody. They’re not saying how we’re going to vote with the PCN they not showing us any machine if you need to put our numberplate so that’s the reason I’m given 0 to Starbucks shame they are at airport they try to give us PCN that’s where people waiting or getting them coffee like other store then or given PCN if you’re saying one hour free on the main sign you are confusing people you’re really confusing people you need to remove that sign from there put Ring and go and make people pay for that. This is very very bad. This is not to Starbucks and their manager, they need to resolve this issue because so many taxi drivers they come to the car park most of time they get shopping they get coffee and most of them customers from taxi or people waiting in the area for the jobs if you’re doing that you’re going to kill your business and now be telling everyone to not go to that car park because you’re not responsible for your customer. MET Parking are the biggest scumbags ever, my disabled, diabetic mum tried to park in mcdonalds as she needed to use the toilet and get something to eat. The disabled bay in mcdonalds was taken up by someone without a badge so she had to use the starbucks car park. It was too dark and foggy to read the sign and she got fined And from all the negative reviews regarding the poor service, cleanliness and food quality I've just read there is no way me or my family would ever use this car park or this branch of Starbucks! This place needs some serious improvement or should be closed down

I love Starbucks bit first time in my life I have experience so horrible service from them . No good moring or anything at the till ..all the ladies look like they are punish for working there ! They make my order wrong and I ask kindly to fix it do she look like me like I'm stupid and she took back my drink with horrible attitude of course forget about sorry or anything like that ! I didn't get her name but omg how rude can you be ? After that I ask another lady for the toilet key and she just trow it on the till like rubbish. Came here early before my flight, staff were very friendly and kind, and the coffee was great as always. The only thing is to make sure you check in your car numberplate on the machine inside otherwise you get fined, we were verg unaware of this especially being tired and the staff didnt mention, luckily saw it last minute. Could do with more signs inside regarding the fine for parking situation as i didnt see the signs in the dark.

Slow as anything. Ordered drove round and just sat there for 5 minutes. Had to ask to make sure I had actually ordered. They then made my drink. No one behind me in the drive through and 4 people inside.

Did not make the drink correctly, no pumpkin cream intop, when I asked the barista about it they said that just how the drink is.. If I'm paying £6 for a coffee I would expect it to have all the stuff it's supposed to have. Not just topping it up with more milk.

The coffee was ok, staff maybe a bit tired. Anyway, luckly i did not seen the sign saying free car park for 60 minutes, and i paid for parking. What is annoying is the minimum you can pay is 2h....who needs 2 hours to drink a coffee?

Car Park.Scam £100 for 35minutes.. I find 100s people caught out the same over 5 years in local and national press. Come on Starbucks sort this out or you will have no customers.left.

Parked here as I was desperate for the loo and went into Starbucks which says 'toilets for customers only' so I used McDonald's instead. When I came out a kind taxi driver told me I had to pay for the car park now otherwise I'd get a £100 penalty as they take photos of your car and you getting out of it! That's is basic infringements of your rights. Completely against GDPR and I will be taking this to a legal authority.

Could of quite easily been a a 5 star review, however this morning I used the drive thru at 9.24 on 31/7/24 and ordered a all day breakfast wrap with a Medium soya super free caramel latte. Unbeknown to me when I get 3 mile down the road I've got a semi skimmed sugar caramel latte. And to round it all up a wrap that tasted like I was chewing on a old bit of rubber.

The Drinks taste the same as any other place but baby the staff, all but maybe 1 quite girl, are a mess…. Then proceeded to look at her colleague as if my dad asked her waist size… then said “it’s 3pm… I’m off i need to go home” . We popped in to this Starbucks as we were staying nearby. The staff don’t know about the NATIONAL free refill policy. We stated we wanted to stay in but they gave us takeaway cups. They did not know how to use a e-gift card for payment. You have to borrow a key to use the toilet. We asked for a receipt and weren’t given one. The drinks were ok but not good value.

Customer unfriendly place compared to the busy McDonald's next door. Parking at McDonald's is free, Starbucks £4.50 minimum pay for 2hrs stay. Toilets are locked, you need to buy something and then you can ask for the key. They are watching you, they will charge you, they don't like you. The lady working here was so so rude!! I made an order with a guy who when I ordered I asked for a new drink they had on the menu, which was a creamy drink with flavourings but without the coffee. She made it for me with the coffee and when I said something she was soooo rude and tried to make me feel stupid shouting it’s a coffee based drink. Stopped here to grab a coffee last Monday. Discovered they were closed so went to McDonalds instead. As per the review from the previous reviewer, I would be VERY careful when using this site, as the franchise owners participate in a ‘scam’ parking scheme with their neighbouring McDonalds franchise and Met parking who monitor the whole site. If you proceed beyond the McD’s drive-through to park in the Starbucks end of the site to use McD’s here, you will receive a £60 fine if you don’t pay for parking when the sister franchise Starbucks is closed at night (if only for a few minutes). Met parking operate both sites and they and the owners clearly benefit from the tens of dozens of cars that innocently make this mistake every night without seeing the badly-lit signage and lack of road markings or barriers. There is a sign saying there are parking charges to the left of the Starbucks area, but you won’t see this at night, as it’s not lit up. And other signs say 60 minutes free parking. In the small print, they say this only applies when Starbucks is open. So do yourself a favour, do you really want to pay £60 for that late coffee at McD’s when you find that the Starbucks is closed?? Head somewhere else instead.

CCTV tracking and charges based on pedestrian movement is probably illegal, as is the insufficient and confusing signage. Niki was absolutely amazing and she has a really good customer service with good standards and same as the other girls they do really good coconut mocha lattes and anything with non dairy drinks. A contractor who works for Starbucks makes a business at night. If you do not want to pay a penalty and hate Starbucks in the future don't even bother to buy anything from them. They employ MET parking services to charge people when their business closes. It doesn't matter if you feel safe and want to rest for less than an hour in the empty parking they will charge you a penalty because the business is closed and the business parking continues. I've got twice from them penalties £100. I just want to make sure how much I hate your side business. selling coffee and sandwiches, not enough money for you from working hard customers. Ridiculous.

My go to coffee place which has been recently refurbished and looks and feels fantastic! Always spotlessly clean and the coffee refreshingly consistent. All the staff members are friendly, personable, helpful and good fun. Keep up the good work and I’ll probably see you tomorrow morning and the morning after and the morning after that! Paul

WARNING - be careful where you park. This Starbucks colludes with the McDonald's next door to create parking fines if you park in spaces which are allocated for one store but park in another. It is almost impossible for a normal person to tell even if they read all the fine print. They will push you to a CCJ! This Starbucks has cameras that track where you walk across their car park. KEEP THE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET AND STAY AWAY.

They changed the toilet system which is really great. Its like having your home toilet. Very clean. Also atmosphere was nice but cannot say the same things for my coffee. It was very hot, I couldn’t taste coffee but I tasted burnt milk. If you have someone to pickup from airport, it’s good place to wait.

I've been here couple of times for coffee and wee but now toilet is with the key so you have to purchase before going to toilet. Looks that many people do not bother as all surrounding stinks like public loo.

Came 20 minutes before closing toilets been blocked off with chairs so customers wouldn't be able to use them. After asking if I could use it I been told no. Awful service. To your knowledge as long as you serving your toilets should be accessible. If you trying to finish early then it means you should look for a job that suits you better if this hours don't fit you

Be warned if you visit this Starbucks - you will receive a minimum £60 parking charge if you park by Starbucks and walk ~5 meters over to McD's, or vice versa, even if you buy something at the other outlet before/after. Car Park scam do not use this park, advertised as services by signage from main road but if you stop in wrong Car park space and use wrong facilities on site you will be fined.

Sad it is impossible to give 0 star.... Working with Met parking, scammer company, went to stop at sturbucks at stansted, stoped for 16 min, shop was close, there suppose to be 1 hour free parking and got ticket, as i see i'm not the only one..... Shame on the shop too!

Parked nearer Starbucks than McDonalds and walked my daughter and friends to McDonalds to collect a takeaway so that they could order in there and have some time to choose. Parked for about 20 mins max and now have a fine for £60 for 'leaving the Starbucks car park'. This is a total scam and disgrace. Starbucks and McDonalds here should be ashamed of themselves allowing MET Parking to operate in this way. Won't be going back.
