Kentucky Fried Chicken in Castle Point

I waited at the counter for 25 minutes for 3 pieces of chicken and 1 fries and a drink, when I got home 5 minutes drive I had 3 greasey soggy legs and stone cold fries it really has gone to the pits in Canvey kfc I will not be going back and while I was there there must of been 8 staff and they all looked like they could do with a good jet wash RANK

Not about Canvey Island . This review is for Rochford drive through cherry orchard way. What a disgusting meal . I ordered a 10 piece bucket plus 2 extra pieces, with sides £26.00 The chicken was dry and flavourless and 3 pieces were so small they must have come from a miniature chicken Also - did they forget to put the seasoning on, it was tasteless ….. again. The chips were cold and undercooked . The sides were half empty and only just (by hours) still in date. This is the worst Kentucky meal I’ve had. The service is slow, the food tastes nothing like a Kentucky, and it needs looking into, everyone loves Kentucky fried chicken - this place is ruining that reputation.

Supposed to be fast food, the restaurant is dead and I’ve been waiting 20 mins for 2 snack boxes!!, once again “just eat” get priority!

Terrible. Went through the drive through today and the lady didn’t have a clue about the menu which ended up costing us more and when we get home there was no sides what we ordered or serviettes etc. not worth driving back. Cost 27.00 pound when it’s normally 21.00. Won’t be going there again.

Ordered through Uber eats about 6 weeks ago, the food was cold, we had about 5 chips per portion (no exaggeration) daughters burger had Mayo I asked not to have and missing bbq bites and a drink. Called them to ask what’s as going on got told nothing they can do had to deal with Eats, so didn’t have some food and took a week to be refunded by Uber eats. Thought we’d try again this evening as had a 50% voucher. I called to make sure chips were going to be full wasn’t rude just only way you can send a message apparently. Arrived this evening. Chicken was fine, but now missing two chips, the ones we did get were cold and gross! And the corn is more grey than yellow with no butter and not hot! God knows what is going on down there. But that is now the last time, if it’s wasn’t for nice chicken KFC wouldn’t be a around anymore.

Gross!!! Gravy cold mini fillets went in bin lack of batter and undercooked were pale and slimey rather than crispy! Never again will I be ordering! About third takeaway from the canvey branch that has been gross!

Every time I come through the drive through at Canvey KFC i’m greeted through the speakers with great manners and fast service. It’s appreciated as in today’s time everyone in retail seems to hate their jobs, but not here (or they at least hide it well ;D) On this occasion I was served by rachel and claire :)

Thought I would leave a review as previous comments would possibly put people off. The service and food was excellent. The great food you come to expect from KFC arrived hot so you know it hadn’t been sitting around for ages. The staff were excellent and even come to our table twice to check everything was okay and if we needed anything else.

Every table was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves with the paper roll and spray that was conveniently left out. No paper napkins, tomato ketchup or plastic forks . All out of stock Chicken under cooked. Chips were awful - soggy and warm. Corn on the cob was so overcooked it was inedible. It was extremely cold inside the premises and staff kept jamming the door open every time a customer closed it. Only good part was the coffee which was ok

The staff are very rude,service is slow and the food is dreadful. Chicken is never cooked properly and the chips are a fat soggy mess.

Happened to be in the area, You know what you’re going to get at Kentucky, so we always enjoy the meal.

My son got the chicken bucket tonight , it was dry and two of the drumstick never had the coating on them . I tried calling four times to complain but just kept going onto voicemail. This. KFC is so inconsistent. We’ve not had it from here for a while as the last time it was not very good either.

Chestfield in kent is the worst, so awful trip advisor don't even have it or allow it to be reviewed. This is definitely better, apparently cleaned at least once a month and with a few advertised items actually available sometimes. Kentucky themselves have helped all go downhill fast, now with half sized chicken pieces and awful chips. Luckily some opposition is spouting up all over.

As KFC goes this is standard however we were served by Leslie the ledgened as we are now calling her, she was great friendly and just lovely PERFECT customer service

How can you have the vast majority of a menu, but no mini fillet buns, coleslaw, bbq sauce, lettuce, wraps and for the love of christ, big cups. No Doris, I don't want two small cups thanks.

This has got to be the worst kfc ever, the staff are so slow. The food isn’t cooked to the kfc standards. The staff are so rude to kids! Kids are not allowed to eat here..

Very rarely have a nice meal from here.. for starters if u get a drive thru u can always bank on something being missing.. and then last nights meal was the worst.. had to throw all the cokes away as it was just fizzy water , the gravy was like dish water and all the food was stone cold even tho the wife sat in a que for ages.. won’t be using there again will drive to tarpots instead

I know its just a KFC but not all are the same as they should be.....this one so far is the best we've used...chicken never greasy and order always correct, should be a given I know but its not....especially if served by the older lady with glasses.

Not a good KFC. Slow and not very entertaining. The food isn't up to top standards of KFC service poor. Staff too busy talking to themselves.

As with all KFC the chips are always luke warm to cold I always take them back and request hot ones by then the Zinger has become cold they must do better

Staff are very helpful and friendly and is very clean - the toilets are clean and working - and have loo toll😆

Food is never as good as KFC in Laindon. Orders have been incomplete on more than one occasion. Often long queues at he drive thorough. Frequently run out of chicken so am told to wait up to half an hour. Tonight, I was told that my KFC card was not registered so all the points that I have been supposedly accumulating over the year do not exist despite my card being scanned every time I made a purchase there.

Its a fast food restaurant offering all the usual fare however the consistency of the food is somewhat inconsistent.

I've have visited this KFC a couple of times and have not been impressed at all. Compared to other KFC this is very poor. The chicken was dry and the service was poor. I had to ask for sauces which should have been offered.

Sometimes it's lovely hot fresh and no really small pieces, but another time the chicken has been in the cabinet too long dried out and not very hot, and tiny pieces of chicken , they have changed the fries and they are horrible. We used to go there once a fortnight but not so often now because of this .

A very busy eatery on occasions and long queues. The quality is varied and can sometimes be not quite up to expectations.

I moved to the Island during June 2014. My first visit did not go well, as it was very busy and not enough staff were serving. I waited over 35 minutes for my food. I noticed that priority was given to the drive through customers. On my second visit I used the drive through. Whilst waiting in the queue, the food displays were not visible until you reached the ordering point. Then a barking assistant is asking what you want before you even get the time to find out what you want. When I got home I noticed that a side order of hot wings had been left off my order. My third visit on the drive through resulted in yet another item of food being left off the order. Unfortunately, you cannot really prove anything unless you check before you leave which is nigh on in possible. The food is always nice and well cooked, so I don't have any complaints about that. But staff shortages at busy times needs to be addressed. Food choices need to be displayed where customers can see them prior to ordering.
