Bruno's is an excellent place to have reshment and excellent food, lot's to choose. And excellent service, so make a choice for fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 . And have a refreshing drink So don't forget to go for a rest with a nice cup of tea or coffee .also, they do takeaways, and in the winter, they deliver to you I've been having a lovely afternoon walk along the canvey coastal path Then we made our way to Bruno's For a reshment we had a cup of tea 🍵 and a latte ☕️ .very nice for the afternoon. So if your walking along the coastal path. Don't forget to pop in Bruno's for refreshments and lovely food We have popped in to Bruno's For a lovely cup of tea 🍵 And a latte it was so refreshing after our walk along the sea front it was a little windy. But very nice. If your having a walk pop into Bruno's To recharge your energy levels with a lovely drink and scumdidlyomish tasty freshly cooked food

After we placed the order, lady said it’s going to be round 10 minutes waiting time, however we waited for 20 minutes. Atmosphere is really odd as the man behind the counter was busy talking on the phone about his holidays in Crete. There was no music or anything in the restaurant, so all everyone heard is him loudly talking on the phone and discussing him wanting a nice rental car and hot weather. not a nice first impression as you should leave these things in your staff room. Then after he finished his so important business on the phone, he started to have a go on the girls and rushed them to pack our order out 🤣 Paid £27 for 2 large cod’s and one portion of large chips. I’ll leave a picture in the review for you to be the judge of a large cod costing £11…. Fish was lovely but size you get is definitely not worth the money

Absolutely fantastic service, pretty busy around lunchtime, but everything was cooked from fresh. Would definitely recommend this place.

Really good food and so much choice. Staff are lovely and seem to know most of the customers well. Little wait for food but definitely worth it to know it’s all cooked fresh. Communication is good and they will let you know how long it will be when placing your order.

The food is so delicious! The prices, the portions and the flavour I cannot fault! This was my first time eating here and it most definitely won’t be the last. I had the 2 small cod with chips, and the spuds.. so delicious! Im not too local but I already can’t wait to go back for more! 100% the place to go if you’re visiting canvey island. (I have no connection to this place whatsoever, I’m just really impressed).

It's was all so much good for the biggest fish and chips of all time favourites place to go for dinner and with tea and coffee with others housemates and t.v. programmes one love from me James Laudat who can't wait to see you soon again so come and get some nice meals at brunos down canvey island.

Bought three portions of chips at 3o'clock today they were horrible looked like they had been there for ages all shrivelled up I would have taken them back but we had to pick my daughter up personally I would not go there again.

Placed an order/delivery on just eat. Food arrived before estimated time given. Would recommend the milkshakes (I ordered a banana one, it was thick and tasty). Would differently order again on Just eat.

First time I've been to Canvey for donkeys years. Only came for a couple of hours and a walk along the prom with some chips. Only bought 2 bags of chips but they were excellent, perfectly cooked, thoroughly enjoyed them.

Best fish and chips around! We come all the way from se london for Brunos food! Couldnt rate this place enough! And im an extremely fussy eater! Even the kids love this place. Have been eating here since they opened and have not found a better fish and chips anywhere we have been!

My first time in Canvey Island and a good way to round off the day with a nice portion of fish and chips. The cod and chips was wonderful, a nice large piece of fish in my box. Very good.

Payed £12 for a medium cod and chips , to get some dry saggy chips and a cod that smelt and tasted off absolute Disgrace of a chip shop shall never be going here again considering the next day I tried a diffrent one on the island same order £9 cooked well and didn't smell off

This place is good very good food, really clean and the staff well no words they are 💯% would of this world very friendly polite fast and will help with any thing you need. My wife wanted some potatoes 🥔 and they had ran out but the got on the phone and ran another fish bar and got them for us how fantastic is that. If you are in canvey island 🏝 go and give it ago you will not be disappointed..

Brunos, by far the best fish n chips on the island. Only one criticism no toilets you have to go outside, across the road in smelly portable loos.

Really good food! Had cod, battered sausage, scampi, mozzarella sticks, chips and battered Mars bar. Everything is cooked to perfection! The staff are very nice and welcoming as well. Will definitely come back! And will be spreading the word in North London.

Gret chips. My faith in good chips has been restored. I used to go to the Islander fish n chip shop but that went right down hill after it changed owners recently. Brunos has restored my faith. Nice clean shop with friendly happy staff. Well done everyone - keep it going 👍

As well as good quality fish and chips they do a range of grilled fish with chips which is delicious. The kids enjoyed the wide and interesting range of milk shakes too. An added bonus is eating them on the numerous benches lining the estuary opposite

This place has always been amazing and tasty food. Since they moved the queue can be a long wait. I waited 40 minutes before to get served. Sometimes just give up. Where the place is so busy. The quality of flood has reduced in quality but that may be as its so busy. But overall a lovely place to eat

This was recommended to me as I'm.new to canvey, and I was not let down! The garlic breaded mushrooms were amazing (abd they're a very hit/miss kinda thing to get, so this has impressed me). Battered sausage was great too (some places the sausage is pinkish but not this one). Veg spring roll was gorgeous! Kids meal was a lovely size too! Great meal and friendly staff .

Bruno's fish & chips bar was really nice food. The staff was very friendly and talkative. The food we had, was hot & fresh. A great location next to the sea wall on a sunny day & we was watching the boats go by while eating our food. I really was surprised how big some of these cargo container ships n ferries were. A bit further along the parade is amusement park areas & fair ground rides. For the adults, a bar across the road on the corner lol.

First time we have been to Bruno's fish restaurant it was the Best cod chips lovely big cod . price was good all freshly cooked while we waited thanks Bruno's. We will be back .

Stopped off for a quick snack and was delighted, clean and very modern place. Food was delicious and great value for money got 3 mini cod and chips as a light snack for me my partner and our toddler, portion size was great and couldn’t ask for more for £5.50! Freshly cooked while you wait. Will definitely return.

Excellent Cod & Chips takeaway, purchased and eaten seated at the benches just over the road. Very tasty, good fish with crispy batter and nice chips, would recommend to others and we will return here when in Canvey again.

Went yesterday freezing canvey.but warmed up by superb fish and chips all 6 of us enjoyed every mouthful. Good portions.good value.

I am the grandson of a London fish monger/fryer, and I know my fish n chips!!!I have used Bruno’s consistently for the last 3 months and have never been disappointed.The premises looks spotlessly clean, the two young ladies serving are friendly, helpful, polite and work extremely hard and efficiently.Bruno and his assistant take care of the cooking and preparation.The quality of their fish is A* and it is cooked to perfection in a light non greasy batter and perfectly cooked chips.The only minor point of criticism I could rais is that on the very odd occasion it could be a tad hotter.This is undoubtedly the very best fish and chip restaurant on Canvey island, and being a motorhome who travels the UK extensively, some of the best anywhere!My thanks and wishes for your continued success,Jeff Golding. This fish and chip shop is so much better than the average chippy. We had some lovely chips, delicious curry sauce and the best freshest salad in a veggie burger ever. Thoroughly recommend.

Friendly, tasty and very generous portion sizes. You have to pay extra for condiment sacheats (30p) but they are at least proper Heinz ones ✌🏼️

On a rainy Thursday decided to get some lockdown exercise with a walk to bruno's. Telephoned prior to order as suggested & after 20 minutes arrived to collect meal but still had to wait 10 minutes for it to be cooked even though shop was empty. On arrival back home really disappointed size of rock & cod as were very small for mediums & chips were dreadful. Think they had been kept warm for ages & were hard & tasteless. Overall very disappointing on this occasion.
