When I collect staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food is always piping hot when it gets delivered. Never had an issue with the food.

Love this place as the food is superb (especially the kebabs) and the service is always really friendly. It was one of the girls first shift tonight but she did a great job, few minor hiccups on the order but they resolved them brilliantly. Highly recommend this takeaway.

This place in the past used to have good customer service but the last few times the service has been horrific. I trusted cosmos to deliver me good food on time with good customer service but they have let me down and let there other customers down, that’s why that must have such a low rating. My food turned up cold and burned and the delivery driver attempted to leave my food on the curb outside my flat. I rung up cosmos and they apologised and said that it was because it was new driver but this not the excuse the fact the food I bought for my children was burned. They have offered to deliver the drinks that they forgot so I guess that makes everything okay. Avoid cosmos at all costs! Food is cold and burnt delivery driver male is rude!

Staff is still rude, deleting review’s won‘t change that. Maximum I would pay for this terrible service is my great grandads clipped big toe nail. Would arguably serve for a nicer meal that whatever this place is serving.

Me and partner was in the area to see some friends, so we decided to grab a pizza... OMG, it was so amazing. The pizza maker and staff are so friendly, the place was clean and tidy, and I said we definitely will go back for a delicious pizza again. They do have a set pizza menu, and we decided to create our own, I'm not a lover of pepperoni, but this is a halal one is so yummy to consume.

I orderd a chicken burger for collection and received it without any salad and sauce. Even I didn’t ask them to not put these things. 👎

Your typical pizza takeaway really excellent pizza and for me, very handy when I visit Wickford.

For me it wasn't anywhere near as bad as some of these reviews made out. The pizza was good and the lamb was fine.

Just had our order tonight while the pizzas and chips was absolutely delicious the garlic bread was awful it needed more garlic butter and it was in the bag for too long so it was wet and tasteless.

This place was shut down a couple of years ago due to bad hygiene practices and I think that stigma has just stuck locally with cosmos, on a fresh slate,the shop isn't exactly the cleanest as you walk in but nothing more than you would expect from a kebab shop on a Friday night. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the menu choice is extensive from kebabs, pizza's, burgers, chicken with reasonable prices...the food is ok but that literally is just a basic ok , overall a lot better competition in the local area, but not the worst as some people would imply

Absolutely disgusting full of greece it was literally running of the paper it was wrapped it, forgot most of the order, would not recommend at all. Serious upset tummy

Honestly the worst take away. My food was frozen still on inside. Jalapeño cheese things were not the ones shown on website. Pure mush soaked in oil. I returned to shop and manager refused refund and was very rude and aggressive. He said they do not refund on cards and he can’t give me cash refund. Would never go back. Poor food and terrible customer service.

Ordered at 4:50, chased at 6, half the order arrived at 6:30. Called to complain, they blamed a lack of drivers and fact they are in basildon. Could give me a time the rest of the order would arrive....arrived at 7:50. No apology. Awful

Orderd jalapeño cheese bites and they were all mushy and broken up in the box when they arrived.... tasted of very old oil. Kebab was full of grease... the whole carton and wrapper was dripping in grease... Food very very poor quality... not even hot.

Just reluctantly ordered from cosmos as roads closed elsewhere due to weather, so couldn’t order from normal places. before we ordered we said no doubt will be wrong as usual.Received food in good time but missing 3 portions chips.Called them up to inform them, they said no problem on the way. 20mins later no chips, so we called them and they said wasn’t on the order.This is the order that we asked them to read back to us as we new would be wrong.They have our details, address mobile numbers. No interest in helping us out, arguing with us back in the phone when they read the order back to us.Don’t normally do reviews like this but had unhappy kids waiting for food, and if they hadn’t read the order back confirmed it, then confirmed the chips we ordered were coming I wouldn’t have bothered.

If I could leave no stars I would. Eating a slice of pizza I bit into someone’s chewing gum. All melted under my pizza and smeared all over the base. After order from here for a while I am fuming at this. Never again. All I got was money back and pizza returned.

We have been using Cosmos on a Saturday night for years but over the last month or so they have really gone downhill. A couple of weeks ago we had a hair in the pizza but besides that the pizzas have been flavourless and the bases not properly cooked. This week the base tasted like raw pastry. Time to pull your socks up Cosmos!

Bugs in food, when we returned the food we got so much abuse in front of my 6 year old. Really well done Cosmos. Rufused to give refund, on the way out the server continued to shout at us in the street. Excellent people skills NOT.

Expensive, wrong toppings, taste 4/10 Slow service.

I called cosmoz to try there donner kebab , as all the other places I have tried in wickford do not cook it enough and it seems to be raw and wet... very unpleasant to look at, let alone eat. So I thought I would try Cosmo's I asked cosmos to Over cook the meat for me And to be honest it was the best kebab I've ever had in my life... Slightly too much oil but that's easily fixed if they read their customer reviews. I was very shocked when it turned up because It was actually overcooked, like I asked for ... BEAUTIFUL 👌 BEST KABAB IN WICKFORD All the other places in wickford, I asked the same they said they would do it on the phone, but when it turned up it was still raw and nothing like what I asked for . They did not pay attention to a word I said Who wants to meet that's still got a pulse. It's nice to know that Cosmo's listen to their customers Well done cosmos. Only thing I can say is maybe the staff could be a bit more friendly towards their customers especially with the delivery service . A smile goes a long way.

Been using for a while but has got worse and worse my last order was wrong after waiting an hour and half and today my food was stone cold and the sides were a joke when I called up to complain got a mouthful off the owner / manger will never use again what a joke

Nothing beats a good takeaway during lockdown and Cosmos hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but piping hot food and really quick service.

The chips are good. I go with my friends here and i get chips and the service is incredibly incredible. I put salt and barbecue sauce on my chips by the way.

Am a regular customer for Cosmos burgers. However while we thought to try something different not only was it disappointing in that I ordered and paid online, to find out that they don't even make steak. Then the gentleman working asked questions regarding our pizza order which we responded to, but he rudely responded and was very impolite. I don't care that he is busy, I am also a customer like all his other orders. That has put me off from Cosmos.

I popped in this place just before closing time. Oh boy what a mistake. When I got home and unwrapped my chicken doner (is actuality ordered a lamb doner) it looked awful. No salad whatsoever and was charged almost £7 for the monstrosity. Worst kebab I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had a lot over the years. I only went to this place as my mate said it was better than Abis but he was soooo wrong. First and last time, in the future I’ll stick with Abis.

Chicken shish kebabs are nice, shame they dont make a homemade chill sauce, i would get them from here more often if they did.

Absolutely shocking. Was half way eating a margarita and then this is hanging out the pizza and half way down my throat!! Full refund. Not happy 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Ordered a pizza, good and cheap prices, nice delivery guy. However had to wait 45 minutes for delivery and the pizza was extremely greasy making me feel rather sick. The bacon on the pizza was grizzly almost inedible. Not the worst pizza in the world but I can definitely say I’ve had better pizza. Might order from here again but I’m still unsure

Sorry I have joined the growing number of unhappy customers, just ordered a veggie burger and they tried to deliver a veggie pizza which I refused to accept, I find I have to agree with other reviewers, rude and dismisive to phone complainers, will avoid in future, shame as I have had several good burgers from them.

Never ordered from cosmos online but I tried it. Originally said it would be 40 minutes but two hours later still no food. I rung them and they said it was on its way but have not received it. Staff on the phone were rude luckily I was planning to pay by cash so I don’t lose out.

Absolutely disgusting serving chips put of a tray that was sitting on the side for god knows how long, already overcooked and stone cold will never be going back, I have took pictures and will be reporting.

Now under new management and it's already better. Had a chicken kebab and it was made with care and attention. Tasted great and I look forward to going back soon.

So we ordered the hotter than hot Pizza. Tasted ok, but not a chilli in sight and colder than cold in taste and temperature. Arrived in 50 minutes, very disappointed as we live 2 minutes away by car. Won't be using again for a pizza.

Foods not the best last opinion

If I could give no star I would. We live close so convenient if we are wanting quick take out! But never again will use them. They missed something on my order, so when called to say. They were so rude. Not going to repeat the whole conversation, but basically they were so rude I even told them that they can keep the food and my money and I'll never use again. Don't think they know manners/ customer service or just plain and simple niceness.

Took well over 2 hours for our food to be delivered and when we called the woman on the phone was exceptionally rude. I do not expect this level of rudeness when asking how long my food will be! Doesn’t even deserve a star hahahahahahah

Orderd 3 large pizzas 90mins later i called chasing them. Staff very very rude. Pizzas arrived adventualy arrivex stone cold. 1 star is over rated.

Given this place a couple of chances now but they just can't seem to get our orders right. And when you phone up to speak to the manager, he is just rude and dismissive

Shame they only have two reviews and fairly damning at that!We order from Cosmos maybe once or twice per month, their food has always been of exceptional quality. My hubby loves the kebabs. I always order a vegetarian pizza and must say it is extremely tasteful.If we have had a problem, I think since they opened, only once, we called them and they resolved the issue.We still order our food from them and they clearly care about their food and customers.

Ordered a chicken shish wrap... and well the photo says it all.... not even an apology when I called just the number for Just Eat where I had to get my refund. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN.

Called in for a pizza and kebab, pizza was just about passable but the kebab was not actually a kebab!!!!! Got a bag with pita bread in it and a box with burned donna meat. No salad, no sauce, no nothing. I tried calling but there was no answer, I emailed which they replied to say they would call me if I sent my number, I se t my number over and have heard nothing. The meat was inedible so I cooked instead! Made getting a takeaway a bit pointless. I’ve since looked at other reviews on the web and they all say the same - EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Disgusting service and rude people Never get the order correct and the manager was absolutely awful and refused to even send us our correct order. Would never use this cosmos again. Save yourself time as on JustEat all reviews are the same.

Piss poor, shocking service, on a number of occasions messed up the complete order then denied it and has to argue with the lady on the phone about correcting it. Awful customer service. Food is average to okay on a good day but for the headache not worth ordering from.

Took 1 hour and 45 minutes to have our food delivered absolutely rubbish service. Rate 1/10
