KFC in Luton

It's deeply disappointing to witness the blatant disrespect displayed by the managers at KFC Chaul End towards their staff. My niece showed me some of the disgusting things these managers write to their employees in there group chat and I was truly appalled therefore I took a photo of these messages in case I decide to take this to HR. Instead of fostering a supportive and positive work environment, the manager's behaviour seems to undermine the very people who are essential to the restaurant's operations. The lack of respect, empathy, and appreciation for the hard work of the team is not only demoralizing but also unacceptable in any workplace. Such treatment creates a toxic atmosphere, affecting morale and the overall quality of service, and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. Regardless of my niece wanting to stay to make money as the job market is very poor I am still encouraging her to leave as the lack of disrespect is not worth the money. They also have a lot of favouritism in this establishment and they do not try to hide it. Absolutely disgusting work place deserves to be shut down.

Twice I have ordered online for local delivery and twice my order has been canceled. Clearly, they don't deliver, but they advise that you order in person. I am not sure why they would give you the option to go through the whole process of ordering including taking payment from your card, which takes 3 days to be refunded. This is frustrating, I now see that the bad reviews I am reading are warranted. This is a prime example of another franchise cheapening the brand, because of a poor level of basic service while in pursuit of greed.

Very unprofessional, rude staff, standing around talking rather than serving customers, one guy was making phone calls from his mobile. My food was left on the side for over 5 mins which I didn’t realise was mine until it was handed to me. Not very clean restaurant and wouldn’t eat there again if they paid me.

I visited KFC luton and find good food and staff was very cooperative .I really enjoy food .excellent every thing

This kfc needs to be shut down. There's items missing nearly always and cashiers never give the receipt when you go through drive through deliberately

Just don’t. Ever. Cold, tasteless and a HUGE waste of time & money. Whoever the manager is should be fired.

While visiting my mum she suggested we get a KFC. Big mistake. As she lives close to KFC I went to pick it up. We ordered the family 6 piece bucket on a Sunday and from Monday for two days i was throwing up and confined to the bed. I thought I would have to go to hospital as I couldn't stop throwing up. Never felt that ill in my life. Before Sunday I hadn't eaten KFC for 10 years and after what happened to me I will never risk their restaurants again.

It’s official KFC is in name only..My partner and I ordered a delivery meal. The order took nearly an hour to arrive and when it did it had items missing and was cold. The chicken was tiny and dry as if it had been standing for a considerable time. Because we ordered through a delivery app they have ignored our request for the items we were missing. Will not be ordering from them again. Not a good experience.

Went thru drive thru and shift manager name Syed shouted at my son accusing him of lying for missing order to obtain free food for his mother and family. This person Syed leant over the window shouting slap me attempting to provoke my son where two staffs came to the window and had to calm him down. It was very unprofessional and intimidating experience. I am sure KFC CCTV has captured the shift managers body language. Only wanted food in return got verbally abused and accused. Kfc in past have missed orders on several occasions. I think Head Office really need to employ staff with customer service skills and on going training on packing food correctly. Very bad experience at Hatters Way KFC.

If you like a little attitude with your burger… Hatters Way KFC is the place for you. All those that like zombie movies.. they employ a few, please go and experience them for yourselves. I personally dislike attitude or Zombies so will be avoiding this place like the plague. The burgers also looked like they were taken out of the trash can… I wasn’t expecting a Michelin star meal.. just something edible.

No milk, sugar or stirrers, although asked for, chicken missing from order, counted the chips only 13 chips with meal, the coffee was only just warm, worst takeaway meal ever. will never visit KFC again

This is a awful kfc !! I wont be returning back here. I fount a long black hair in my chicken it took 5-10 minutes before i got served about this matter as the staff saw me waiting to talk to someone they all was talking to eachother and stared at me till i asked for service!! The workers look sly and sneaky here no hair nets or beard nets were worn . Using there dirty hands aswell all over the food. The ladies toilets stunk of bad feaces and very dirty. They need a decent cleaner as these toilets seemed like they havent had a good clean for years!! I had to avoid in using these and went elsewear!!! The health and safety team needs to check this place out!!

Its the worst KFC I’ve ever been to. Ordered few items in drive thru. When came back home realised that the order was incomplete. As it wasn’t first time it happened and there 3 items missing decided to go back and make complaint. It took us some time to wait in the queue so asked to our food to be redone fresh also asked for a receipt which I didn’t received first time. When came back home I realised that my husband’s burger was heat up - dry lettuce and very hard burger ban. Receipt was also missing again even though I was requested. Do not recommend and definitely won’t be back again.

Produced my defence discount card , wasnt recognised and didnt get a discount, didnt get a receipt either, only saw on my online banking. Chips uncooked and chicken barely warm , essentially a bad experience

Slow and disinterested service!! Walked up to the counter and there was one girl on the till tapping in some numbers from a receipt but she didn’t acknowledge us at all. Waited a minute or so and then asked another girl if anybody was serving. She nudged the other girl in the ribs and rudely grabbed the receipt off her and told her to serve us on another till. The young girl who eventually served us didn’t really communicate much but took our order ok. Then we moved over to the area where you collect the food and again we were totally ignored, my food was hen sat on the counter for a good minute before somebody called out my number. There were at least 10 people working behind the counter but nobody seemed to know what they were doing, in fact they were all running around like headless chickens, excuse the pun! There was also a female employee behind the counter that insisted on shrieking orders at the top of her voice to all the the other workers; it was ear piecing! Took our food to a table that had the least mess on top and under it. We moved the rubbish over to another messy table. Then we used our own wipes to clean the table and seats as nobody was around that we could ask for assistance. We realised that we hadn’t been offered any ketchup and mayonnaise so rather than queue up all over again, we gave up on that. The food itself was passable, you could tell it had been prepared for at least 10 minutes previously and was nothing amazing, I definitely wouldn’t say it was the best KFC I have ever eaten. For the whole 30 minutes we could hear chairs being dragged across the floor (why don’t people pick their chairs up when they get up/down from the table?) Toilets were pretty average with the usual amount of grubbiness you find in this kind of establishment. All in all, below average but stopped our hunger pangs.

This is not the first time that my wife and i have visited this branch of KFC. AND ON EVERY VISIT IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE. It's not unusual to see the bins full to overflowing it was so bad on Tuesday i didn't even attempt to empty the contents of of our tray as it wouldn't have made any difference other tables had the previous diners contents they probably felt the same way as i did. One urinal in the gents toilet has been out of use for the last Two to Three Weeks - There is now a black bin back over it and the other one looked like it was following the same fate with urine still in the urinal bowl. The floor had chicken under a couple of the seats and the floor looked generally dirty and grubby. The whole place in fact felt grubby , what didn't help and this isn't the fault of the Staff the main door was not closing properly so everybody kept getting cold blasts of air whilst they were eating. One of the Staff members was trying to fix it but to no avail. It seems the Staff are not being deployed properly to keep the place clean and tidy , perhaps a trip to my Parent's local KFC In Newtown (Powys) would show the Luton staff how a KFC should be run.

I had visited kfc luton the other day and was blown away by the amazing customer service of razia!! ( I believer her name was) she was so lovely, so funny and made my experience pleasant. I hope she gets employee of the month because all the other staff members were meh, but she in particular stood out to me. My food was cold and some was missing, but she dealt with the complaint very well and gave me more food as compensation as well several apologises. Her cheery smile and bubbly personality made me forget my hangry moment! We also had a nice conversation, and she made me feel warm and welcome. Despite the negative reviews about this place, I just wanted to leave a positive review about this employee who made me feel very happy. Thank you razia. I wish you the very best.

Used drive thru service. Customer service was shocking, the girl who served us our food did not say one word to us.Food was cold and dry, and please see the attached picture of the amount of soggy cardboard chips we got for 2 meals?Appalling!

Halal really nice fresh chicken on the bone sweet chilli lovely Kids enjoy they’re burgers too Clean and tidy 5 stars

This is the smallest bit of chicken I have ever had from this restaurant not sure it was even from a chicken the size of it the larger looking bit had about as much meat on it as the smaller piece I asked for two pieces of breast and this is what I got this is the worst meal I have ever had from kfc my wife had two small pieces of chicken in her meal also if we'd have eaten in I'd have taken both meals back

Really fancied some spicy wings in the middle of the night and this was where I ended. I decided to go through the drive thru which was convenient. Taking the order and paying was quick but then suddenly I was just stuck in the queue for at least 5 minutes. There were 4 cars ahead of me and 3 behind me. People started honking as well. Am not sure if one of the orders was just really big and that’s what cause the bit of traffic.Anyways got to the serving window and the lady apologised.I had 10 spicy wings and a zinger burger. Got a complimentary fries and probably that was because of the delay.Wings and the burger were delicious as usual. Would definitely recommend this place.Only issue I had and it’s not the restaurant fault was that people dumped their waste in the parking and it looked so untidy. And that was right before you get into the drive thru. Parking is not an issue as it’s in a retail park and so there are a lot of spaces.

Usual KFC menu the restaurant looked clean and the staff were very helpful even told me to download the app and the chicken wings will be free....

The first time we visited this place was when they had the Chicken Crisis. NO CHICKEN We have since been back a few times and it has been really good. We always have a take away I;m not sure if you can eat in. Again plenty of parking

Staff have zero manners. Kfc is odd but staff could smile a bit and drop the attitude as it's rude. I even said have a good evening and only got blanked. They should not own a francise such as kfc
